Main Guild - Here is where we keep all regular RP as well as all random insanity associated with the Cein Isles. If you'd like to start an RP here please mark it [Private RP] or [Open RP] accordingly. If you'd like to join an RP please make sure that it is marked [Open RP] before posting.
Hidden Subforum(s) - All the boring management stuff goes on in there. And lists... there are lots of lists... you really don't want to see it. We keep it hidden for a good reason.
Journal Subforum - Here is where we keep all Journals and Scrap books. No RP threads in here please!
Quest Subforum - Here is where to post if you are questing for a taur! Don't be shy! We'd love to hear from you!
Kithria's Cove - Here is where we will log all information and RP's related to breeding. Please do not post here unless you have a breeding slot and permisison.

General Roleplay Rules

No Godmodding!
What this means is, no taking control of another person's character or roleplaying through a scene without giving them a chance to respond.
No excessive foul language/violence.
Though many Taurs are skilled in the arts of war and have more than their fair share of conflicts, there's no need to get graphic with the blood scenes. We don't mind occasional cursing, but please keep it in moderation. Swear responsibly!
No blatant sex in this forum!
Romance and allusions to the act are fine, but if you really want to cyber with your characters, take it someplace else, please. Gaia as a whole is supposed to remain PG13.
Remember some standard rules of RP etiquette:
Please use parenthesis (( )) to denote out of character (OOC) speaking during an RP session.
If someone has a post listed as a private RP between a small group of people, please respect that.
We try not to be spelling and grammar Nazis, as we know everyone's spelling and grammar differ. Do try to form coherent sentences and put some thought into your RP posts.

UNACCEPTABLE Roleplay Scenario:
"Maia leaps up, and with a deft slash of her blade, she strikes the beast down before it even has a chance to raise its claws in attack!"

ACCEPTABLE Roleplay Scenario:
"Maia draws her shortsword and charges at the beast, raising her blade to strike as she nears it."

General Roleplay Abbreviations

Quote:

[ORP] - Open Role Play, anyone may join.
[PRP] - Private Role Play, only a select invited group may join.

More Precise Roleplay Rules

Yes, you may RP a taur that is not in existence if it does not belong to anyone else.
Yes, you may RP characters from other shops if they would be found naturally in Cein Isles. It's also expected that if you do RP this character in the other shop that the character does not have the same life/story line in both shops.
Whatever your taur does in another shop/setting is not considered canon in the Cein Isles world.
Yes, all taur speak the same language though there may be slang or references that vary tribe to tribe.
Chiron City taurs have almost little to no RP rules other than standard RP rules.
No, not all taur are on the same island. Wolftaur are the ones who most commonly build boats, but not the only ones. Even if a race does not build boats they often buy them from the Wolftaur.
As a taur owner, you are welcome to expand on the lore/customs/history of the taur/race that you own. We will be trying to set up/expand the taur history section in the guild soon.
