As of this past Saturday. At Yosemite. I don't think I stopped grinning for days straight. Mostly because I'm pretty sure I still am, and it's Wednesday now. The scar on my hand is from back when I worked at Starbucks, I accidentally managed to cut myself on the side of the oven vent. Oops. The more recent scrape is from rock climbing, I went to grab a ginormous sloper and managed to hit it with the back of my hand instead. Uh, let's not talk about how bad my grab was to hit it with the wrong side of my hand...

This is not expressly saying I'm right about everything, but by damn it still feels like a affirmation that I am indeed correct about everything.
How? Not going to say. In fact, ignore that. It just has to do with my compulsion to know everrrrything.
Also, compliment the person on that amazing natural twenty.

Miss Perfection Oh my gosh! So excited for you! What a lovely place for a proposal to happen! Delighted you're happy <3 Yosemite is a freaking gorgeous place. The ginormous rock face on the left is El Capitan, and I want to climb it someday. Farther in the distance, there's Half Dome, which... is basically exactly what it sounds like; I want to climb that as well. I have a problem, and that problem is an addiction to climbing on things and pretty places, and Yosemite has both of those covered. We've talked about getting married there, but the problem is getting family to a place that's out in the middle of nowhere (and with good reason).

I've heard about it and seen picture but I'm sure nothing compares with actually being there! That is pretty cool you have got into rock climbing! Hummm well I guess it depends on how big you want this to be. I mean a handful of people would probably be okay but if it's going to be everyone and their great aunts best friend from highschool, you might have an issue xD However there are places around the park that offer accommodation and such so that could help! Anyway I'm sure you will figure it all out <3 Congratulations again!

Miss Amelia Pond Farther in the distance, there's Half Dome, Wait just a second.... That's where that picture is? Huh. My sisters and stepmom recently went hiking there. Apparently it's half past terrifying at the top with shoddy anchors and shaky standing boards. To a point where only one of my two dauntless siblings could make the peak.

Half Dome is not for the faint of heart. It's a six-hour hike up, and that's just getting up there; you still have to go down (which, according to people with fears of heights, is the scary part because you have to look down the whole time). Anyway, the cables are anchored perfectly well, it's the poles, which are a temporary summer addition, that can be iffy. But really, the poles are only there to make the cables more convenient.

That is quite the accurate rendition of the story they retold. Left at daybreak, came back at sunset. .... Or perhaps they're slow. Apparently there was a box of gloves that the rangers didn't like 'cause rats nested in it. Or some business. It sounds like fun but I'd rather go without excuses to hang with stepfamiliy. Hm. Now I'm imagining them staying in the park 'till Saturday.
