By the time they finished with the shower and got dressed again, Esabel formed a portal then pinched Wulfric's very nice posterior. It was a tease but it got her what she wanted as he started chasing her. He chased her right through the portal, though they were both distracted enough that they forgot to direct the portal to a specific location....

Esabel stepped out of a portal and moved to sit on the edge of one of the cliffs, high up on the wall of the massive cavern that held the base. She knew that Wulfric would eventually find her here, but for now she could simply sit. She'd done her best to deal with Lucy but she'd finally hit her limit with the whole thing. From now on, she'd let Lily deal with her sister and back off as much as she could. If she hadn't promised Nalyne she'd watch over Lily while he was gone, she would have simply told him to have Lucy watch over her instead. But she'd promised her uncle and she'd kept her promise. She only hoped that Lily would forgive her in the end... But she couldn't deal with the problems that Lucy gave her. Not any more. She simply couldn't pretend anymore... The next comment and she'd probably do something really regrettable.... She gave a soft sigh as she lifted one knee and rested her chin on it, swinging the other leg as she looked over the base. She was considering asking Wulfric if he wanted to leave the base with her, not sure if she wanted to stay here anymore. If she was avoiding Lucy for a while, she needed to simply leave the base for a while. It was the easiest solution and Lily wouldn't question it much. Then again... She'd promised... She gave another sigh and wondered how she was going to manage this whole thing... She couldn't stay... But she couldn't go... What did she do? How to manage it? How to avoid Lucy, and therefore Lily, and still keep her promise to Nalyne? She didn't know what to do....

Wulfric came in through a gate not to long after Esabel had and saw her sitting there sensing what was on her mind through their bond had stepped over to her and sat down behind her his hands pulling her into his arms and held her close to him, his presence likely pulling her from her thoughts of trying to avoid everyone and looked at her only slightly concerned by the thoughts before he placed a kiss on her lips and held it a moment before he pulled away and spoke up “so I take it interacting with everyone hadn’t worked out very well?” he couldn’t help but have a concerned look on his face as he held her in his arms and on his lap. It could have been very easy for him to decipher her thoughts of what happened through their bond without much difficulty but hearing her talk about it was always better as it if nothing else allowed her to voice her concerns to him and well he could try and smooth things over with her.

Esabel shook her head and cuddled into him with her head against his chest, "Nope. Lily had her baby and is fine. So Esabel kept her promise to Unka Nalyne. But Lucy still hates me. So Esabel needs to be away for a little bit," she said simply then simply sat in silence as he held her. After another moment, she gave a small frustrated sound, "We'll wait for Nyx then we's can all leave... Esabel needs to know that Ilea's okay first and that Master's finally dead," she added, knowing that he'd understand that much. But the situation with Lucy was still troubling. She'd never made it a secret that she didn't like Esabel but she'd never been outright obvious about it in front of Lily. And Esabel was getting tired of playing that game... "Guess Esabel doesn't fit here either..." she whispered mainly to herself. It was a sore subject for her. She'd been chased off from so many places over the years that she'd hoped to finally find a home here. For her to be thinking that she didn't belong here, that she needed to move on to somewhere else... Well, she was ready to do it anyway...

Wulfric nodded understanding what she wanted to do and considered for a moment where they could go, and after a moment of consideration held Esabel closer to him and spoke up “well if we’re leaving there is a few places where all of us can go that might allow us to disappear from the world around us” Wulfric of a couple of places where one could disappear entirely one being a vast forest where they could settle down and just be themselves away from the world and those who would hate his mate, another was the old world where they likely would find a place to stay and would also be just as easily be able to disappear provided they were able to get there without incident. Admittedly the forest he was thinking of was a few days away from where they were it was the best chance of disappearing, but the city he was also thinking of wouldn’t bat an eye in their direction which would allow them to also disappear but it was increasingly difficult to get to from where they were but if disappearing was what Esabel wanted Disappearing is what she’ll get and he was prepared to do just that, and wasn’t afraid to show what he had in mind through their bond.

Esabel gave a slow nod, "We'll figure it out soon. The right place will happen when we need it," she told him simply as she cuddled back into him. They stayed like that for a long silent moment, knowing that they would have to move soon enough... After another moment, she finally wiped at her face and took in a deep breath, looking up at him for a kiss. She gave a soft pleased sound when he gave her the kiss she wanted. When he pulled back, she gave him a small smile, "Let's walk," she said softly. He'd be able to tell that she wanted to walk around the base they'd called home so far. She wanted to say goodbye to it all...

Nyx
Nyx appeared near Esabel and Wulfric in a flash of shadowy flames. She didn't say anything at first, simply staring out over the base for a few moments. She finally looked over to them, giving them a small smile. "Goh is dead," she said. "Nalyne stabbed him with his sword and destroyed his heart and brain. And then he burned him to ash. But before he did that, I reached into his head and destroyed any knowledge he had on how to make more of us. Even if he comes back somehow, I'll be the last one he made."
She went silent again and looked back toward the base. The color seemed to be draining from her skin, and she knew that they had to have seen her eyes dimming a bit. She'd known that severing her bond with Goh would cause her body to start trying to go into stasis, but she hadn't expected it to be so fast. She was using her stored power to slow it down, but she had already burned through most of it to hunt down and destroy Goh's caches of information. And she was burning through her remaining energy far more quickly than she'd expected. She didn't really know how long she would have left before she ran out entirely.

Esabel knew that Wolfe was willing to go with whatever she decided on. So she stepped up to Nyx with a smile on her face and shook her head slightly, "No, Nyxy... You's gets to make your choices now..." she said softly then moved to cup her face and gave her a tender kiss. After she pulled back, she offered her another glass orb similar to the one that she'd given to Wolfe. She raised Nyx's hand and placed it in her hand, "This will give you what you need. No more drains. No more problems. Just freedom. And your choices," she told her in a soft whisper then gave her another light kiss before stepping back from them both. "You's can always find Esabel when you're ready to... Right now... Right now Esabel needs to go... Esabel can't be here right now... Esabel isn't needed here... Some don't even want me here... Puppy made Esabel different, just as Esabel made him different... Things is changin' so much... Lilly had her babies... She's with her sister now... They don't need Esabel... Nyxy needs to be able to choose what you's wants to do," she pointed to the orb with the dark gas-like energy swirling inside of it, "That will let you be able to do that. You can choose now. No one can choose for you. Esabel can give you that much," she added in a softer whisper then hoped that they'd both forgive her for this... She looked at Wolfe and gave him a soft smile, "Puppy made Esabel different... Better... But Esabel can't stay... Not where I'm not wanted..." she told him, still in that soft whisper. Then she stepped back and let her portal swallow her. She knew that they'd find her eventually, but she'd been through too much lately... And she'd never been able to handle emotional pain very well. That one had never been good for her. But it had been especially bad since Ren and Gin died, then Hal's death made it worse. That one had damaged something inside of her... She'd healed a bit since then, but she'd been hiding more than they all knew. She'd even managed to hide it from Wolfe... What she was going to do, even she didn't know. But she had to disappear for a little bit... Wolfe would know the why for part of it. The catalyst this time had been Lucy, as well as the birth of Lilly's twins. He would be able to explain that much to Nyx as well as to Lilly. But for now... Well... She'd reappear somewhere and he'd be able to find her then...
