Name: Yvette Park Alias: Yvee (Yeh-Vee) Age: 8 Gender: Female Powers: Invisibility Aura: Green Color (Jade/Mint), Low Frequency, Blue (sky/baby) Contrast Appearance: Short for her age, Yvee is a small girl that doesn't like to be the center of attention, which is reflected in her passive and quiet demeanor. She isn't someone to make eye contact with people and will often be looking at her own hands when talking to someone else. When she thinks no one is paying attention to her, her inquisitive eyes and playful eyes can be seen. Her hands are often preoccupied with whatever interesting thing she picked up from somewhere. Otherwise, it'll be a bag of crackers that she'll carefully unwrap (you can tell she's eating them from the distinctive crackling sound from the wrapper) and break off pieces to eat. Surprisingly doesn't leave any crumbs...for the most part.
She has long straight blue-black hair that gets wavier near the ends. Her hair would be long enough to reach her lower back if it was completely straight. She has awkward bowl-cut bangs that her mother gave her with the kitchen scissors. Yvee's skin is a muted golden color, slightly pale due to her being sick often but is still a healthy shade. When she's sick her skin can turn several shades whiter, but only during severe cases. Her large round and bright blue (or brown?) eyes attract the attention of others as it contrasts well against her skin/hair. She has a sharp chin with a small mouth and button nose. She has a little bit longer than normal nose bridge. She's thin but not frail looking. Her legs are long compared to the rest of her body, and she will probably be very tall once she starts to go through puberty.
Personality:Incredibly curious. Yvee loves to get into things and fiddle with the things she finds. Sometimes it has gotten her into trouble, but since she's been stuck in her home for most of her life she hasn't really been able to get into anything too dangerous. Objects that she likes to play with are things that she can take apart. When she was younger it was office supplies her parents kept around the house (staplers, boxes, etc.) and expanded to more complex things like remotes and other electronics. Now that she's older she's bored of these types of objects and will only go for things that she has never seen before or look unfamiliar to her. Since it was rare for her to get new things to play with at home, when she does see an object she wants to play with her curiosity becomes uncontrollable. The only time when she's not fiddling with something is when she's in the room or general vicinity with another person.
When interacting with other people, she is incredibly shy and withdrawn. Children near her age and height are easier to interact with but not by a large degree. While she is interested in other people, but is too shy to really investigate or question them directly. Instead, she'll stick to patiently and silent observation and trying to figure out people from afar with as little interaction as possible. If she doesn't have a strong understanding of who a person is through her observations of them, she'll panic and freeze up if they try to interact with her. Otherwise she'll look at her hands and pick at her cuticles when conversing. The only people she's been able to meet their gaze consistently when talking is with her parents. One of the reasons why she freezes up is because of their height, she feels like they're looming over her. Her habit of freezing stems from her ability to turn invisible. Why run away from a situation when she can turn invisible? Unfortunately her powers don't always work... or she doesn't remember to use it which can lead to her awkwardly standing and staring at someone in fear.
Whenever she gets sick or has a fever she likes to hide somewhere where she can rest for a while. When she was hospitalized when she was younger (only once, an unfortunate high fever) she got upset over how loud the hospital was and associated loud noises with unpleasant feelings ever since. Not the healthiest child when younger but has finally reached a point where most of the time she is generally healthy. Her aura is still very light (hence the mint shade of green) but has been getting more vibrant as she ages (turning more of a jade color). Since the hospital was noisy which lead to associating unpleasant feelings with loud noises, when Yvee hears a sudden loud noise she'll flinch. It will occasionally activate her power without her permission, but it largely depends on the context of the situation. If she's become accustomed to it, such as a sound that happens on a regular basis, she'll frown and be stressed for a while.
Since she's been sick for most of her life, she doesn't consider being ill to be a serious issue. When unwell, Yvee will tough it out and pretend she isn't sick unless she really needs help. This has occasionally made her bouts of sickness worse than they would have, but she knows her limits well enough that she isn't shy of accepting help when people offer (as long as she feels sick, otherwise it annoys her). She'll even accept help when she's pretending not to feel ill.
Yvee isn't very easy to become clothes with, but she is still a very trusting young girl. She is the type to trust someone whole heartily unless they give a reason not to. She isn't stupid however, and can pick up on lies or made up stories. She places a lot of weight on first impressions, as her opinions aren't likely to be changed. However, "first" impressions tend to need more time than a single meeting to develop. She still won't blindly agree with a close friend's opinions, though she would still go above and beyond for them if they ask. This might lead to some arguments and fights, as it might seem as betrayal when it comes to picking sides in a dispute. In general, the closer you are to Yvee the more willing she is to share her opinions and thoughts.
History: A few years before she was born, Yvee's parents relocated to Northern California for their jobs. The couple's new home was a nice spacious apartment in a condominium, which seemed even larger than it was as there was barely any furniture in it. Her parents, Joseph and Anne, were so immersed in their work they were constantly bringing home unfinished work. In fact the two were so busy during these years; they only needed two desks and a bed in their home.
Eventually, it became too much and Joseph, with his poor constitution and stress combined, had to be temporarily hospitalized. This lead to both parents cashing in their sick days and vacation time in order to take care of one another. During this time, Yvette was conceived. It was rather fortunate, in a way, because while Anne eventually had to quit her job and Joseph had to go back to work a little earlier than desired, the two became closer than ever when their jobs had made them drift apart. They both were thrilled to know that someone would be entering their lives to tie them all together.
However, when Yvee was born, she wasn't a healthy child. She constantly had a cough or the sniffles, and would often get fevers. Anne stayed home to look after her, forgoing returning to work. While the first years were incredibly difficult, thankfully Yvee's health improved with her age. She was healthy enough to go to public school but was absent for a good portion of the year.
Her parents were overjoyed that Yvee's health was improving. During the past few years Yvee's power started acting up whenever she was sick. It first started when she was five and she was lying in bed with a fever. The scream from the tea kettle startled her and turned her invisible. Part of it was to hide away from the noise; another was that she knew that the gross herbal medicine her mother brewed would be coming soon. When it happened the first time, her parents thought that Yvee was just playfully hiding (a sign she was getting better), a few days later when it kept happening they started to get annoyed, and when it kept happening weeks later when they couldn't find her no matter how hard they looked, they began to panic. They knew she couldn't have left the home because everything was locked-there was no way someone as young (and short) as Yvette could get past the bolted and locked doors that lead outside. When she would reappear, both of her parents pleaded and begged for Yvette not to hide ever again, but it was no use as she couldn't control when her power activated (and that medicine was gross so she'd rather stay invisible anyways). After several panicked phone calls to the police, and several scolding Yvette received by scary policemen, Yvette eventually gained enough control over her powers enough to prevent herself from turning invisible against her own will.
Right before Yvee was supposed to enter second grade she got the worst fever she's ever had. Her parents took her to the hospital in order to get treated, despite Yvee's protests over her dislike of how loud and crowded the hospital was. After a few days of treatment Yvee was overwhelmed by the busyness of the hospital and used her powers to get some peace and quiet. She sneaked out of her room and went to a nice secluded lounge where she could get some real rest. When a seven year old suddenly disappears from a hospital, people notice. The hospital was locked down when they couldn't find her anywhere and the police were called. It was a huge commotion, and incredibly unpleasant for Yvette when her powers wore off and they found her sleeping. She got the worst scolding in her life, and she's vowed to avoid hospitals ever since.
The commotion at the hospital however got the attention of a psychic that was in the hospital at the time. A few phone calls later, a brochure came in the mail a few months later. Curious as she is, Yvee snatched the brochure from the family's mail to read. It didn't take long for her to make the connection between her powers and the camp. Not only did it explain her powers (she really didn't care about that) but oh wow! She could leave for camp!? Now that was something that she wouldn't mind. With improved health and insatiable curiosity for this camp, she rushed to show it to her parents who reluctantly agreed (she needed to interact with more kids her own age anyways).
**side notes/things i need to edit in:
her father was sick as a child, but no where near as bad as Yvee was. he still has a weak constitution, but it's generally whatever. she probably got her weak body from him, but it was amplified as her family was pretty stressed out during the pregnancy.
Yvee's relationship with her parents was very positive. they accepted her powers, despite the headaches that it caused. they didn't really understand what she was doing until they got the brochure though. when you don't know about psychic powers, assuming it's psychic powers isn't the first thing people jump to (though it was on the back of their minds). as far as they know, Yvee's the only one with the powers.
she was home schooled for kindergarten, but Anne thought it would be better if she got some friends her own age. since her health was improving, she wanted to make sure her daughter had a 'normal' childhood. for when she was sick, Anne would home school her for a while then she would go back when she got better. as long as it stayed below the district's excused absence limit, she could attend school without being held back. for the year when she was really sick, her mother filed for temporary independent study until Yvee got better. (Anne stated working from home after a while so she could keep busy when Yvee became more independent/less sick). independent study (home schooling, technically) was the only thing stopping Yvee from repeating second grade.
in school Yvee was still a shy child. it took a while but she became familiar enough with her classmates that she could converse normally with them. she never really bonded with her teachers though. school was fun for her because it gave her a lot of things to get into (thankfully she didn't break school property) and math was something she could 'tinker' with. she was average in other subjects. she wasn't bullied but she didn't make a lot of friends either. Yvee had one close friend in first grade, who moved away. Yvee emails her once in a while.
Yvee was in the hospital for a few weeks, but it was pretty bad so Anne didn't want to put any stress on Yvee by sending her to school. Yvee was upset, but she wasn't in any condition to disagree. She didn't fully recover until right before winter break. she got the brochure in the winter, and left for the summer, so they had a few months buffer before she was better. Anne definitely worried, but couldn't find a way to disagree with Yvee's rarely seen vocalized enthusiasm.

Name: Asprin Age: Approx. 1 Year Aura: Orange, High Frequency (something like #ffcc00) Species: Fancy Rat Powers: Hypnosis Owner: Yvette Park
Appearance: Asprin is a fawn colored hooded fancy rat. There really isn't anything that sets him apart from other rats; he's exactly average weight (.75lb) and of average length (11" nose to tail). He has the typical markings of a hooded rat, and has the typical healthy pink color for his feet, nose, ears, and tail. The most interesting thing about him would probably be that his underbelly color is more of a cream color than white, which isn't all that exciting or interesting to begin with. His fur tends to be more on the messy side and will have several spots where his fur puffs up.
Personality: While his appearance can be a little boring, but his personality makes up for it. He is an opportunistic and mischievous rodent that frequently denies getting Yvee into more trouble than she would have on her own. He's very attached to her as she is his only friend, and for a significant period in Yvee's life, he was her only friend too. Because of their history Asprin will take every opportunity to chill with Yvee, typically perching on her shoulder. He gets frustrated and grumpy when he's separated from her for more than a day-when Yvee started to go to school he'd act like a grumpy butt and give Yvee a cold shoulder until Yvee would bribe him with a treat.
One of Asprin's favorite pastimes is sharing Yvee's snacks with her, where he will chirp back at her in excitement. Another favorite is hiding in Yvee's clothes where he often tries to sneak out of the house with her when she goes to school or on a chore with her mother. It may have lead to the Park family being kicked out of a grocery store or two for bringing in pets into the store. Rumor has it they're still not allowed back to the grocery store on Chestnut Street. However his most favorite thing would be to encourage Yvee to take him to new places to explore new places and new toys. He's gotten both him and Yvee into a lot of trouble in the short time he's been with her.
When he heard that he could go with Yvee to this new camp he was incredibly happy. When Yvee would leave the house without him it was a pretty rough time since Yvee's mother would be gone as well and Yvee's father was at the office for the majority of the day. For however long the family was out, Apsrin would sit in his cage alone just waiting for her to get back. May it be through Yvee's influence or his own special quirk, he developed the intelligence to comprehend human speech over time as Yvette would speak to him as if he could respond. While not directly caused by Yvee talking to him he even started to develop the power of hypnotism (though it isn't until they reach the camp that he will be consciously aware of it). His greatest desire at the camp would be to learn animal-human telepathy (which he'll unfortunately never develop).
History: After Yvee recovered from her stay in the hospital, her father wanted to get her something to keep her company while she stayed home from school for the year. He got Asprin from one of his coworkers, but they forgot to tell Joseph that Asprin (then named Peanut) was a rat and not a dog like they had lead on. The coworker unloaded Asprin on Joseph and bounced before Yvee's father could give him back. Forced to take the rat home, Joseph showed Yvee Asprin and to his surprise, she fell in love with the rodent as soon as she laid eyes on him. Imagine Anne's surprise when she saw her husband had given her daughter a pet rat. He was almost thrown out for being unsanitary, but Yvette threw a fit and he became part of the family. His hypnosis ability will emerge when he has to escape the clutches of another camper's pet who will try to eat him. (or maybe just some wild predator lurking around the camp grounds)

Hello there!
Appearance First of all I love her outfit, I've always wanted to dress like that but where I live makes it not work very well. I also think that on an eight year old it will be adorable. Personally I think she would be adorable with the blue eyes (maybe that match her aura?) but brown also would be cute. I wonder if her limbs are of average size, if any part of her body is bigger than the rest (ex. long torso), or if her body is normal for a small girl. I'm also kind of curious about her fingers, but that just might be my curiosity. Does her skin gain a little bit more healthy glow to it when she is feeling well, or does it always seem to have the pale look.
Personally I would maybe find colors on colorlover or something for her skin/hair/eyes but that's more of a personal suggestion than a crit since it's really not necessary.
Personality I wonder what are her favorite things to get into? Does she like electronics, or things like pens and pencils to fiddle with. When she is uncomfortable (like when people are around) does she just freeze up or does she try to escape? Would she stick to a wall/corner or freeze where ever she is when the people arrive? You have her a little more comfortable around those her age, what about those that are younger than her? Are older kids seen in the same light as adults?
Since she is curious about other people does she like to observe them? I see that she is shy and doesn't interact much (at least at first) but how does she get to know others? Does she observe them until she figures out what kind of person they are, or maybe ask the people she does know about them? What are some ways for her to collect this information.
How is she with friends? Let's say that someone gets past her shyness and Yvette thinks they are a good person, is she a loyal friend? If she is in the room with her friend and other people is she still silent/shy or does she interact with her friend only? Is she more likely to talk/interact with people if she has a friend with her or is she still super shy?
What does she do when she hears loud noises (such as the loud speaker at camp)? Does she try to hide? Can she become accustomed to certain loud noises if she hears them often or will they continue to startle her every time? Does she like to accept help when she is sick, or would she rather just tough it out by herself somewhere alone?
Does she have any hobbies? What does she like to do in her free time? You have her as curious, what kinds of things spark her interest?
History I love her history and how you talked about the parents. I wonder if any of them were sickly as a child? I also wonder if she was absent a lot of the year why didn't they home school her? Schools are a cesspool of germs. Did her mother go back to work and was unable to take care of her all day, or did they want her to get a normal education and have a normal childhood? I'm also wondering how she did in school as a shy child? Did she do good in class, did she have any friends, was she bullied, etc.
How is her relationship with her parents? Are they hard on her, or do they accept her personalty/abilities with open arms? Is there anyone else in her family that has any kind of abilities?
Did she stay in the hospital long after her disappearing act, or was she pretty much healed by then? I love that as the way that she was found, I think it works perfectly.
I'm wondering how long after she was released from the hospital did camp start? Just because I don't see her parents letting her go when she just got out of the hospital from a horrible fever (but maybe they are those kinds of parents, I just don't get that vibe with them).
for appearance, i'll probably mix up some colors to throw on the reference i drew for her to see what would look the best. having her eyes match her aura sounds like a really cool idea, i'm stuck between that and having some vibrant color that would attract attention, which of course is something she would like to avoid.
for her body shape, her legs are a little bit long compared to the rest of her body. she's going to be a very tall teenager once she hits her growth spurt! everything else i would say is proportional, including her hands.
Yvee also has a much better/normal complexion now, but she does get really pale during periods when she's sick. it's really only her aura that reveals how fragile her health is at first glance. she'll look a little faint whenever she physically exerts herself.
for personality, Yvee's curiosity is mainly focused on things that she likes to fiddle with. she is interested in other people, but is too shy to really investigate or question. instead, she'll stick to observation and trying to figure out people from afar with as little interaction as possible. once she figures people out she'll be a little less hesitant to speak to them. she isn't one to ask questions about people, but will patiently and silently listen to people talk/gossip about other people, and use that information to form opinions.
how she freezes up is related to her using her power. why run when she can turn invisible? the only problem is sometimes her power wont work... or she forgets to use it. the result is that she kind of just stands there until something makes her snap out of it. she doesn't freeze up with kids that are generally her height. she's still incredibly shy around them though! in addition, if someone she's more familiar (who is an adult/taller) with talks to her directly, she would probably freeze up anyways. one of the reasons why she freezes up is because of their height, she feels like they're looming over her.
Yvee likes to fiddle with things that she thinks she can take apart. at first when she was younger it was staplers, boxes, remotes, things that you'd find in a house. now that she's older, she's bored of these type of objects and only goes for things that she's never seen before (which i think she'll see plenty of at camp) or things that are more abnormal version of things that she's seen before (so if it's a decorative stapler that's in a "fun" shape, she'll probably take it). this has led to a lot of broken toys and appliances when she was younger. this would also be part of her hobbies, which is taking things apart (and putting things back together if she can manage it).
with relationships, Yvee is a very trusting person. she trusts people as long as they don't give her a reason to not to. first impressions are really important when interacting with her, as opinions that she forms about someone isn't likely to change after they've been established.
for friends that she makes, she'll be willing to go above and beyond for. she'll try to figure out nice things to do for them and will always try to help in some way if they need it. the only thing is that she isn't willing to blindly agree with their opinions. for instance, if one of her friends is venting about something and just want Yvee to agree with them, that's not likely to happen if Yvee sees that it's likely that the friend is at fault. in general, the closer you are to Yvee, the more willing she is to share her opinions and thoughts. in regards to your question, having a friend nearby probably wouldn't change her behavior with less familiar people.
when she hears a loud sudden noise, she flinches. it occasionally activates her power on accident, but that depends on the context of the situation. when the noise is not sudden or if she has been accustomed to it, she'll just frown and be uncomfortable for a while since she associates loud noises/environments with unpleasant feelings in the hospital.
when Yvee is sick, she kind of toughs it out unless she really needs help. she's been sick all her life so she no longer sees it as a big deal anymore. she'll pretend she isn't sick up until she can't. this is probably causes her bouts of sickness to be worse than they would have been. she isn't shy in accepting help when people offer, as long as she actually is feeling ill (including times when she's pretending she's not).
for history, her father was sick as a child, but no where near as bad as Yvee was. he still has a weak constitution, but it's generally whatever. she probably got it from him, but it was amplified as her family was pretty stressed out during the pregnancy. Yvee's relationship with her parents was very positive. they accepted her powers, despite the headaches that it caused. they didn't really understand what she was doing until they got the brochure though. when you don't know about psychic powers, assuming it's psychic powers isn't the first thing people jump to (though it was on the back of their minds). as far as they know, Yvee's the only one with the powers.

thanks again for the crit! this ended up being super long. C':

You and dino covered a lot of what I would have asked. However, I wonder how Yvee feels about other kids her age. I know she's shy when introduced or first meeting, and she has to warm up to them, but does some part of her feel the need to reach out for companionship? Even if it's scary? or is her pet rat (who is adorable by the way) enough for her? How does Yvee feel about nearly being held back because of her sick-absences? Is it something that's never crossed her mind? Has she thought about it and doesn't care? She was excited about the camp, was that about getting out purely, or meeting kids her own age? If it's just for getting out has she thought of all the new strange people she will meet? Is she apprehensive if she has?

sorry it took me so long to get to your crit. :O she's pretty indifferent towards them on an emotional level. she's more focused on things that she finds interesting to be really interested in developing relationships. however, she does get interested in people time to time when they manage to grab her attention.
i wouldn't say she really needs the companionship of other people. she's pretty self contained, and does by with being with her parents and Asprin. she enjoys company, but doesn't feel a strong need for company as she's content with just observing people. (and thank you, I think Asprin is adorbs too, wish i could get a pet rat. ; v ; )
for being held back, she honestly hasn't noticed that it came to that. she'll probably reflect on it later as she's older but she doesn't really comprehend what happened regards to school policies and so on. she just thinks her mom is a busy body that wants her to be well educated. being sick has always been a part of her life, but school was only there for a year or so. she was more bummed that she couldn't be with her friend and mess with the stuff at school. that's pretty much the same reason why she's excited for camp. new people to see, new things to mess with. understanding her power was a huge influence as well. she might become super into developing her powers and go into research... but i'm not 100% if she's going to go that path yet.
it's kind of weird because she's excited to go to camp and see new people, but she doesn't realize that she might actually have to interact with them. she's probably going to be super uncomfortable when she actually gets to camp.
thank you for the crit! ; v ;

Hey there! Sorry for delay, things have been a bit busy for all staff.
Just as a note before beginning, we have not looked over previous crit given and are only looking at what is available in the profiles themselves so apologies if similar questions were asked before.
----------
To start with, please include hex codes for the colors of Yvee's aura! You can pick some out easily with this site. We use the colors for certing purposes and wouldn't want to give her a color you don't like!
Next, the title says READY but there is a big spoiler of things you still need to edit in. Please do that so we can read everything coherently and in chronological order.
And lastly, there's a few typos that are making it a little difficult to read that could easily be fixed up with proof reading. Look for things like "Yvee isn't very easy to become clothes with".
There are a couple things we were curious about, beyond that!
1) Where did Yvee's tendency to take things apart come from? Does she ever put them back together? Has she ever gotten in trouble for dismantling things that didn't belong to her?
2) How will she deal with situations in camp like the bunk beds in the cabins or in classes with partners and group activities? There are quite a number of boisterous campers she'll have to deal with!
3) Why isn't she interested in learning about her powers at all? What makes going to camp so interesting to her? She's obviously excited about going but what about it makes her excited besides "getting away" and what exactly is she getting away from? It kind of seems like she wants to get away from her parents for putting her in the hospital before but it's established they have a good relationship.
4) Aspirin is clearly important to Yvee, as shown in his profile, but we see no mention of him at all in her profile?
And finally
5) Considering you mention that Asprin will only become aware of his hypnosis power and use it later, it might be better to just cut out the bit about him developing it prior to camp and just have it be an effect of being around the natural psitanium deposits in the area. That's why a lot of the wild life around the camp and school have developed psychic abilities in the first place. It just seems a little silly to establish it (as well as the scenario it's going to develop in) when that hasn't happened yet or, in the case of him coming pre-packaged with the ability, when he hasn't even used it. He will, of course, come certed with the power -- this is just from a profile perspective.
Thanks for being patient!!

i'll fix up how her profile is organized and grammar errors as soon as i can. (i swear i had everything checked in word but i guess i didn't do a good enough job). i'll quote the mule when the answers below are edited in too.
i'm not too picky with the codes, but maybe something around #66FF99 and #66CCFF?
and your questions:
Yvee's habit of taking things apart This habit came mainly from her own natural curiosity. It wasn't really encouraged and kind of just popped up on its own according to her parents. It might have come from the fact that she was stuck home most of the time and as she was a young child she wanted a lot of stimulation. Probably half that, half curiosity of wanting to know how things worked. At first it started from taking apart her own toys where she would pop out the arms of her plastic dolls so she could see their ball joints. Her mom just figured she was free to do whatever with her own toys, but she wasn't going to buy her anymore if she kept breaking them. After Yvette got bored, she moved on to her mom's office supplies. Since her mother wanted to watch over her Yvee would be in the home office a lot, which exposed her to things like staplers. After breaking the first one Yvette had to learn how to get things without her mom seeing her take them. Since Anne didn't see, she didn't really put any blame on Yvee if the stapler stopped working. However after getting caught a few times anyways, Yvee picked up the habit of remembering how to put things back together, which she is able to do most of the time. At school most of the things she tinkered with belonged to the school and not other students, so she didn't get into too much trouble.
Camp Life Yvee is going to have serious time adjusting. More likely than not she'll be completely overwhelmed and stressed out that she'll get sick again. After some quiet time alone in bed (as all of her bunk mates do camp activities) will help her get adjusted to the level of stimulation which she'll realize isn't too different from public school. There will be plenty of awkward times where she freezes up though, and will have to figure out everyone isn't as scary as she thinks they are. She has some experience dealing with such environments during her time in first grade (though that seems like a distant memory to her) and the second half of second grade. Yvee is okay with children around her age/height, though she would rather watch from a distance at the start.
Her Powers For Yvee it isn't that she's not interested in learning her powers, but after having them for so long they're not as interesting to her. She can control them pretty well now, so they're not as much of a challenge than say, taking apart a broken remote or computer mouse. She is excited because getting away from home will give her a lot of opportunities to get into new things. At first she wasn't too excited about entering first grade after being homeschooled but after realizing there is so much more to do at school, she likes to explore new places (just not new people). She loves her family but she's definitely getting the the point where she's bored with her environment.
Asprin Asprin is her sidekick and a friend that is far less intimidating to get close to. While she had friends at school and was close to her parents, Asprin is who she considers herself to be closest to. Most of their history together is explained in his post, and she particularly enjoys the adventures/trouble he gets her into.
annnnnnd i got to go to class soon so i'll finish this when i get back.
