Once she had left the gym, Averi flew straight back to her house; gracefully landing on the front porch without a sound. Taking out her keys from her pocket, she unlocked her front door and walked in; closing the door behind her. Sniffling, she didn't realize she had started crying until she felt the tears slip down her face. Her indigo eyes turned red and puffy as her face began to heat up with tears. Briskly walking through her home, she charged through the bedroom door and flopped into her bed face first so that her cries could be muffled by pillows. What were all these feelings swirling around inside her? She just wanted to understand! Why was Jordan causing her body to do such weird things? And why on earth did his words bring her both joy and pain!?
Averi cried harder into her pillow for a few more minutes before finally sitting up. Sniffling, she threw her legs over the side of her bed and walked to the large window that stood beside her bed. Standing beside the right curtain, her fingers came up to her necklace and played with the tear drop shaped pendant as she wiped her tears with the other hand. Jordan was so kind to her. He was willing to teach her things that she didn't know and he did it with such patience. She could still feel his arms wrapped around her and see his soft smile. Staring out at the garden outside her window, she sighed heavily to herself. Opening the large glass doors, she floated off the ground and out the window, hovering above the rainbow of flora. "
Un'vak fallum quarca i'tphi?" she asked the flowers; using a language not native to any on Earth.
