This is where we can coordinate and execute motions to plan out ways to bring about awareness and garner support.
Plotoberfest was discussed in the thread and with the sudden explosion of interest & posts in the thread, it became clear we needed a better format to discuss this in.
Also, if you have ideas for events or games, please bring them up here c;

If we are agreed on the name Plotoberfest, then I propose an RP Biergarten. 3nodding
OKAY. Serious business: Let's get the ball rolling on the calendar. I still think this should be a multi-week thing, whether for the month of October or from end-of-Sept through mid-October. But I figure the more we do, the more we can fit in: Smaller events can get their limelight during the workdays, the big events get their limelight on the weekends.
(Out of the plots, I think the most debatable is zOMG!. It's one of the big ones in Gaia terms, but lacks much of a manga presence. Maybe keep it mid-week, but split it into a few days? IDK.)

hmmmm yes, I would like to keep zOMG there but as a branch cos I want most of the focus to be on actual plot.

I just don't want cynicism to take root and bemoaning about what Gaia should have done that tends to plague vocal zOMG support. There's already going to be plenty for the manga plot in general xD
I like the final weekend with godtheme. It seems quite appropriate.

I agree completely. Don't get me wrong, I am a staunch supporter of zOMG!, but... one battle at a time. On the other hand, I feel like it'd be a fun choice for middle-of-the-week themes. Just think... we can have zOMG! general on a Tuesday for stuff like Barton Regulars, Zen Gardens and Otami. Wednesday can be the Undersea area, including Merfolk and NeXuS. And Thursday can be DMS, with Vampires and Werewolves. The Godtheme Weekend will also apply to their supporters. So Nyx can also be about the Dark Elves, for example, and Gaia can also be about Sentinel, Overseer and Gambino. Which would make it a nice bookend with the start of the event... if we start this on a Friday or Saturday with classic Gaia NPC plots, which would also mean lots of Gambino.

now to actually outline it! emotion_dowant I'm thinking it might be better to group it by relevant plots, rather than chronologically. That way, it can be... Friday, September 26th - 'Root' plots, NPCs et all. Saturday, September 27th - G-Corp, Grunnies, Grombies Sunday, September 28th - Von Helsons, Vampires, Louie and Ian Monday thru Thursday - minor plots Friday, October 3rd - ??? Saturday, October 4th - Zurg Sunday, October 5th - ??? Monday thru Thursday - minor plots Friday, October 10th- ??? Saturday, October 11th - Airship Saga Pt. 1 - Team Nyx Sunday, October 12th - Airship Saga Pt. 2 - Team Gaia Plus one more week if we can't pick just three more plots.
