Here you will find all the information about these two kinds of Ulaya including, but not limited to: who they are, their abilities, and how to obtain one or find out if your Ulaya is one. You will also find the lists of existing Seers and Shamans in the Jokoa` Realm.

Seers are the offspring of a God and a mortal, or possibly two mortals but this is highly unlikely. However, any Ulaya can be rolled to determine if they are a Seer. When receiving generation one Ulayas and Ulayas from breedings, a light blue gem only appears on the forehead of a Seer. Seers have a sixth sense for how other Ulaya, and humans, can feel and are often ailed themselves by these feelings. Along with this, they have an uncanny ability to predict events, being able to see the past, present, and future. Their ability "to see," though, is often clouded and they will have trouble knowing what they do see. Often it will be flashes of different moments in time or possibly just noises.
Not all visions are completely accurate, and sometimes they don't even happen at all! Changes in paths may lead to changes in the future. What one Seer sees now could change when another Ulaya enters the picture. This only adds to the uncertainty of their visions, which are often in snapshots anyways. Very few Ulaya have completely clear, accurate visions more than once in a lifetime.

ABILITIES:
Gift of sight; can see into the past, present, and future.
Seers very rarely have clear visions. Usually, visions present themselves in short, shaky, blurry, dark, clouded sequences. They rarely see more than just a few short clips of an event. Their visions are not always accurate, for changes in the preceding events can change whatever they believe they saw in their visions. Sometimes their visions present themselves with audio, sometimes without, and sometimes they only hear sounds. Sometimes they will receive a flash of a vision, sometimes the vision will carry itself out for a few short minutes. Some visions will happen, some will not happen at all. Some visions can be of a completely different place and time, and the Seer never actually experiences what he saw. It varies from vision to vision.
These visions can either be of the past, present, or future. Seers can see events that may have already transpired, things currently happening, or things that have not - and may not - come to pass.
Seers cannot choose what they see. They cannot peer into the future at a specific time or place, and they can never choose when they want to have a vision. Visions will occur when they want to, regardless of the Seer's desire to have or not have a vision.
Sense the emotions/auras of others.
Seers cannot read minds. They can just "sense" the air of the mortal Ulaya they meet. For example, a Seer meets an Ulaya who's distressed. The Seer can sense the other Ulaya is troubled, but they cannot figure out that the Ulaya just lost its family in a storm just by being in that Ulaya's presence.
Seers can be deeply affected by the strong emotions of other Ulayas. A Seer may find himself to be very uncomfortable in the presence of a grieving Ulaya, feeling the grief almost as deeply as the other Ulaya.
The older the Seer, the more experienced he is. An older Seer may have clearer visions than younger Seers.

Shaman are the offspring of two Seers, or sometimes the spawn of a god and a mortal. However, any Ulaya can be rolled to determine if they are a Shaman. When receiving generation one Ulayas and Ulayas from breedings, a white gem adorns an Ulaya with the powers of a Shaman. Shaman have weak magical abilities over a single element. The color of the shading on the gem can sometimes determine what element that Ulaya specializes in. Depending on their gem and their age they may be able to cause small rainstorms, move objects with their mind, and who knows what else!
Please note, all Shaman require their domains to be approved before they can be RP'd with their powers.

ABILITIES:
Shaman have weak magical abilities and slight control of some elements.
Shaman abilities are weak. A fire Shaman can make some flames and not be burned by fire, but they cannot breathe fire like a flamethrower or summon a conflagration that destroys an entire forest. A water Shaman can make small waves, breath underwater, and condense water vapor into liquid water, but they cannot cause tsunamis or floods. A lightning Shaman can generate electricity, but cannot strike others down with huge bolts of lighting.
Shaman domains have to be elemental. A Shaman cannot control life, death, time, etc.
A Shaman can only have one domain. That domain must be posted here so staff can maintain the shop's list of Shaman.
More than one Shaman can have control over a particular domain. If a ground Shaman exists, your Shaman may also be a ground Shaman. These are not like gods with only one Ulaya per domain!
All Shaman have mild telekinetic powers. They move small objects with their mind, like pick a fruit off a really high branch or just idly spin stones in the air.
Their telekinesis is weak. They cannot hurl boulders at their enemies or rip trees out of the ground.
Shaman gain experience with age; older Shaman have stronger control over their respective elements than younger Shaman.

There are Ulaya in the world with both the powers of Seers and Shaman. Creatively named Seer-Shaman, these Ulaya are gifted with the abilities and limitations of both Seers and Shamans.
These Ulaya are the children of a Seer and a Shaman, a Seer and a God, or a Shaman and a God. There is no way to roll to see if your Ulaya is a Seer-Shaman. Seer-Shaman have to be born into a very magical bloodline, or be deemed a Seer-Shaman by their colorist upon being given away. These Ulaya are not restricted by gem color, though their gems tend to be either white or blue. They can have visions, as well as weak control over an element. They are truly the rarest type of Ulaya to be found.
Please note, all Seer-Shaman require their domains to be approved before they can be RP'd with their powers.
