Spenelli angels losing sleep Wow Spen, your situations sound terrible, especially the one where you ended up in jail. sad I never trust cops, especially after living where I did in high school. I overheard so many students I went to school with say they got off for speeding because the cops knew their parents. Such bullshit. No one is above the law! Yeah, I always have bad luck it seems. sweatdrop That is ridiculous. Reminds me of a story I have where the cop was actually the victim. I have this really good friend named Scott. He is awesome. We worked together at two different jobs. Well, he used to be a cop. One night he pulled a young girl over for speeding. He wrote her a ticket and sent her on her way. His boss asked him to get rid of the ticket and not follow through. He didn't agree. Next thing he knew, they accused him of telling the girl if she flashed him he wouldn't give her a ticket. They said if he resigned they wouldn't follow through. Turns out the girl was the mayors daughter. He resigned, and never could get a job in any surrounding town. They ruined his career just so the mayors daughter wouldn't get a ticket. scream Woooow. That's awful. This is why I don't trust most cops because a lot of them are dirty.

Spenelli Yeah... it does sound like profiling to me. That's a shame. But I think we all get profiled in some ways. I'm lucky for being white, I do know that. But I have been looked down on for being female. Being 5'4, 125 lbs, female, and in charge of a group of men. I'd tell them to do something, and they'd be like, "You aren't my boss." I'd stand there awkwardly and be like, "Uhm, yes I am." xD My boss challenged me because I think he saw that people didn't take me seriously. He put me on the hardest line at work. I finally came to him and tried to get off the line. He said something about how he knew I had something to prove, and that he knew I would try harder than anyone else, so that's why I was there. I understood his point, it sucked though. xD It's so ridiculous we have stereotyping still. We have female bodybuilders, females in politics. Blacks in charge of companies, black professors. There are so many people out there who are nothing like their stereotype, yet people still get profiled. I didn't even realize you weren't white Cinderful. xD And I've known you a while now. So how silly are these stereotypes. Wow, that's an eye opener. In this day and age I thought women in the workplace would be better gonk xd Your own boss set you up?!? How did that turn out?? I hope you exceeded his expectations 3nodding sweatdrop I get that a lot. Meeting people online can be a little awkward at first cuz we both have to ask... eek What color is your face....

Lol, what color is your face. xD It turned out.. badly for him. It was just so hard. I had to lift over 50 lbs all day. I planned on quitting anyway because this was when I was with Scott and was about to go to Scotland for 6 months. In that time he was SUPPOSED to find a job, so that when I came back I could start my paperwork for residency there and move there within 3 months. Well since he refused to let me off that line, I ended up quitting about a month before I planned. xD I finally asked him, "What do I have to do to get off this line?" He said "Quit." I think it was partly a joke. But I came back with, "Okay, this is my 2 weeks notice then." xD My last week though, he let me work in OxiClean which was so much easier.
