You guys kill me gonk u say it's cuta and u like it but then u say u don't likt the english voice which one is it,both of u might have the same or different opions on this so i want to know eek is bad crying or good 3nodding im dying to know since i haven't seen the dvd yet waiting until june here anyway here english voice has got to be differnt on the songs so u gots to tell me......PPPPPLLLLLEEEEEEAAAAAASSSSSSEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I must say, when I first read the manga one would have expected the stereotypical adorable, high-pitched, squeaky, adorably cute, and can break one's ear drums voice from our dear little 12 year old Mitsuki. And you have to admit, Mitsuki's personality does kind of lend itself to that kind of voice.

Then I read some reviews of Full Moon Wo Sagshite the anime before I started watching the series, and the reviewers commented on Mitsuki's voice. I didn't make much note of it then, but when I started watching the series a couple of days ago (by the way, I have finished xP) their comments came rushing to my mind.

I personally love Mitsuki's voice. Sure, it kinda contradicts the adorable naive little Mitsuki one would expect. Yet at the same time, it's completely perfect. Mitsuki is a 12 year old girl who's faced many hardships throughout her life, one of the promiment ones being the tumor in her throat, of course. Her voice should sound a bit mature for a 12 year old. At the same time, there is something cute about the voice. Like when she's protesting something or calls out Takuto or Meroko's name... It is cute, it's just not typical high squealy voice one would expect.

And the singing voice? I don't know what I was expecting Mitsuki should sound like, but it certaintly wasn't that. Dont' get me wrong, I love Myco's voice. And Mitsuki is a wonderful singer. I just don't know if I was expecting that... One would expect this angelic, something like Chrstine-like-voice from Phantom of the Opera. But now that I think about it, I can't imagine Mitsuki singing sounding any different. I'm hooked. blaugh

wahahhaha...yeah..seriously....the english voice actors have such thick accents!....oh well...they need some japanese lessons! 4laugh

I prefer the japanese voices though, because the japanese version the voice actors/actresses always pretend as if they were actually the characters in real life so their reactions are much better than the english ones.

In the first few episodes of Full Moon, myco's voice does not suit Mitsuki at all. I'm pretty sure that it was the first time myco was doing any voice acting too though.

Anyways, her voice adjusts pretty quickly. Once you hit even episode ten, I really can't imagine anyone else doing Mitsuki's voice. I don't like the English voice at all. I'm too addicted to myco now.

I haven't heard the English voice yet, so I can't judge that. However, I think the Japanese voice suited Mitsuki to a "T". Think about her circumstance when you picture what her voice should be like. A normal 12 year old girl would have a higher pitched voice because her vocal cords are developing, allowing for the semi-soprano sound that girls end up having as a normal voice. Now consider Mitsuki, whose vocal cords can't fully develop because of her sarcoma, and she also can't exercise her lungs or her throat in order for her vocal cords to develop. Looking at it in that light, I think that a softer and slightly deeper voice makes a lot of sense. Plus, myco has now earned a place in my CD collection thanks to her incredible singing talent as well as her seiyuu talent!

I agree. I was a little surprised at how her voice sounded when she first sang in the anime, but then, as I watched the anime I realized it was just perfect for her. It had all the right emotion, that is Mitsuki.

I had to adjust to Mitsuki singing because she had a soft 16 year old voice, then suddenly a hard-core mature voice?! xd But now I'm use to it! Besides all that I love Mitsukis' voice! whee

The english voice on the otherhand was very disturbing to me...I kind of hated it sweatdrop Sorry for people who disagree with me!
