Ashlyn and Gyafrith had just come back from one of the Weyrling lessons, the blue rider looking like she was ready to pass out. It had been one thing to go through those as a Weyrling herself, but a completely different matter when she was helping to teach them as the Weylingmaster's Assistant. Ashlyn had asked her dragon to take her somewhere relaxing, so he took her to a little spot near their Weyr and allowed her to curl up on his back Gyafrith could sense his rider was tired, so he just brought his wings up to shield her and let her get some sleep on his back.

Kaila, curious on how a few of her friends were doing, were finishing up a task while Maith napped near her. She knew of Ashlyn becoming the assistant to the weyrlingmaster from word around the weyr. The green rider hoped that the lessons didn't exhaust her energies too much. She thought of the times she had to deal with such lessons before becoming a rider. "Maith, feel like visiting Gyafrith and his?" She asked after wiping her hands dry. Maith yawned and nodded, Mine, that sounds wonderful. Perhaps we get something for her to eat as well.
Kaila nodded as that was a good idea. "Come on then." Maith rose and stretched a little before leaving their weyr with her rider in tow. After a brief visit to the kitchen, Kaila sought out where Ashlyn might be. I'll see, mine. Gyafrith, where are you and yours? Maith called, hoping that the pair was not interrupting a possible nap for the blue dragon.

Gyafrith was keeping his eyes open for any trouble, while his rider rested. He soon heard a voice in his head and smiled, recognizing it as Maith.
I am laying just a little outside mine and Ashlyn's Weyr. Ummm..do you or your's know where that is? I can give more directions, if you need it,Gyafrith replied back. He looked on his back and saw Ashlyn curled up peacefully there, which made a smile come to him. He reached over and nuzzled her cheek, which caused a smile to come to her own lips.

Mine knows where your weyr is. Thank you, Gyafrith, Maith replied before looking at Kaila. Gyafrith and his are outside their weyr, mine. Kaila smiled and nodded, "Come on then. The bubble pies I requested for Ashlyn will be best served warm rather than cold." And with that, Kaila started to lead the way to the pair with Maith at her side.
After abit, they were near it. Gyafrith, hello, Maith greeted as they saw the blue. Kaila however did not see Ashlyn and wondered faintly if she was in the weyr she shared with the blue. Still, the healer walked over to the blue and waved. "Hi, Gyafrith, did the weyrling lessons go well today?" She asked.

Gyafrith had laid his head down on his front claws, when he heard a voice greet him and he looked up. He smiled seeing Kaila and her dragon, before he nodded his head in reply.
They went as well as expected with the group we have. They can definitely be a bit of a handful, especially when their gold is kind of...unusual. It just took some energy to deal with them, more energy than Ashlyn mine expected,Gyafrith answered. He lowered one of his wings enough, where they could see the sleeping woman on his back.

Kaila smiled at the mention of the gold dragon of the last clutch so far. She did seem an unusual sort in attitude. "Weyrling lessons seem to be just as exhausting to the ones teaching as they are sometimes to the ones learning. I brought some bubble pies for Ashlyn. I think I'll let her sleep though." Maith laid down near her rider, Are the weyrlings learning a lot about caring for the young ones? The green was quite curious. She had enjoyed the weyrling lessons when Kaila was a weyrling herself.
Kaila glanced at her green, remembering the fun parts of such lessons and the unpleasant parts too. It had been a nightmare to learn how to cut the meat for Maith at first without nearly hurting herself too.

Gyafrith sniffed the air when bubble pies were mentioned, then a laugh escaped filled their heads with the exhausting part.
I am sure Ashlyn mine will love those pies as soon as she wakes. I don't think she really had much time to eat today, not since breakfast. She feels it is her duty to do everything she can for the Weyrlings under her and T'rel's care. The Weyrlings I feel are learning quite a bit, some of them are just a bit stubborn. I don't think the gold is thrilled with what they are supposed to do,Gyafrith replied.
