The recent staff updates have said that they've removed the gold generators for an "undetermined amount of time," and that the tax has been increased from 3% to 5%.
What are your thoughts?
Personally, I'm glad that the gold gens are out of the picture, even if it is temporary.
The same thing goes for the tax increase. Even if people increase their prices, things will be too expensive for buyers, leading to no one buying the item for the high price. The sellers will be forced to lower their prices, so that helps.
The 5% tax that is deducted from the seller's item goes nowhere, so it just takes the gold out of the economy.

Welp. The latest staff notice said that they'll be putting back a modified form of gold gens.. That didn't last long....

I think it was pretty impressive to be honest, definitely a step in the right direction. Combined with the gold sinks and actually making charms relatively common in Daily Chance (perhaps I'm just lucky) and I think Gaia may just be starting to redeem itself (slowly).

In my opinion gold gen is a hell of a pain in the a** with a gaia member that cant afford gaia cash like my self im glad that they were offline temporarily and i guess gaia just turned the wheels to the right direction i hope that gaia will go back in its old self 3nodding 3nodding 3nodding
