Camelot had wandered a bit farther from the camp than he usually did, but he was still far enough from the city to not have to worry about the Negaverse finding him. And if they did, though it was unlikely, they would not be able to find their Headquarters. He was just taking a walk, as the woods tended to remind him of his Wonder, and that simple connection him put him at peace.

Really, he was debating. He wanted to go to the city, though it was always dangerous for him to do so. He could not hide his own aura, and unless he was powered down he was a giant beacon of Order, which would attract any Negaverse soldier in the area as soon as they felt him.

And if he powered down, he was too vulnerable. A wanted face with a limp.

He just wanted to find out more about his son. He wanted to find the Negaverse General responsible for tearing his family apart, and he wanted to return the favor directly. For all he preached, for all the warnings he gave his wife to stay away from Painite and do what she could to keep herself safe, he wanted to be a complete hypocrite and go to put an end to Painite himself.

For good.

As it stood, though, he was in no real position to take that risk. If he kept going, they would get wise to him, and every trip was one of greater chance of getting caught. He might not even find Painite, and he would be killed or captured and tortured for nothing. It would be a waste, and he knew they could not afford more losses like that. He had too many people counting on him to be selfish about things like this, however tempting revenge was.

But he had drifted away from the Headquarters while pondering all this, and he paused, looking around and wondering just where he had managed to end up.

It had been awhile since she had left the city much less powered up. Sabina had to wear clothes she was not used to wearing. Instead of her skirts and feminine tops, she had on black tights and a tight yoga top. There was no jewelry adorning her at all. Just a long braid curled into a tight bun atop her hair. It was hard to leave the city now but she wanted to check on how things were. Plus she had a small first aid kid in the fanny pack around her waist. It wasn't much but she knew that everything helped, even the small stuff. They could put it in a stash for grabbing in case of emergency.

Once outside the city, when she felt safe enough, she let out a small breath before transforming into Seireitei. Now with her trusty inner tube on one arm, she slung the fanny pack over her shoulder and continued on. It took quite some time before she realized she was lost. "Darn."

Then she felt a presence. It was a familiar one that immediately brought a smile to her face. At the same time, she felt sorrow for the man that he had become. "Fancy seeing you here Camelot." She smiled at him with a little wave. Her cheerful attitude still present. Seireitei stretched her arms out. It was freeing for her to be in her knight form.

Camelot felt the aura of another White Moon soldier nearby and relaxed a bit. He was not worried about being lost, but he was glad that whoever had managed to find him was not on the Negaverse side of the fence. He could not really afford running into a Nega right now. His head was not in the right space for it, and he did not trust the decisions he might make.

He wanted others to hurt as much as he did, but at the same time, he did not want to be responsible for that kind of pain. He could not let himself fall into the traps of bitterness and anger.

"Ah, hello there," he said, when he saw the familiar face of Seireitei walking towards him. He relaxed and lifted his hand to wave in greeting, smiling at her and feeling honestly glad for her company. It would help him relax a bit, being able to focus on someone else.

"How are you doing? You look well." He knew life was hard for all of them, and he was interested in seeing just how well she was doing, with the Negaverse looming over them as it was. "Are you out for a walk today as well? I wasn't expecting to run into anyone out here. Mostly because I was not exactly sure where I was headed."

It was nice to see Camelot smile. At the same time, it definitely showed that this war was taking a serious toll on him. Seireitei was glad that she could bring him, maybe, some actual joy. She smiled back at him. "I'm good. I don't know if you've heard but the situation has gotten worse in the city. Keep your guard up. They will be more strict and I imagine, more ruthless in seeking us out." Especially with how strong of an aura he had. So far, he was the most powerful knight she had ever met. Unfortunately, she had not had the opportunity to meet much other knights since most lived outside the city.

She patted her fanny pack at his questions. "I was just gonna visit headquarters and see if anyone from the mainstay needed a portable first aid kit." Without thinking, her eyes looked to the sky as if searching for the moon. "I wanted to know how things were outside the city. That and I have not powered up in a very long time. It can be frustrating to be so helpless and stand idly by while you watch them do horrible things just so you don't get caught." Seireitei let out a long sigh and then her usual smile was back. "But I need to remain optimistic. Losing hope will allow them to win and I refuse to do that."

"I've heard, but I appreciate the warning. We'll just have to be careful when we go to the City, and only make trips when we, at the camp, absolutely have to. Likewise, those that live in the City will need to keep their eyes open, and not let themselves be compromised while the Negaverse ups its game."

They had to up their own, as well, but Camelot had faith in their ability to persevere. They had lived this long, after all, and it was certainly not easy. But they had adapted, and would continue to do so, until they had a chance to push back.

It would come, in time.

He moved a bit closer to her while she mused, putting his hand lightly on her shoulder. He was not trying to be impersonal, but rather wanted to offer her some small reassurance, even when it was harder to feel all that positive. He had to keep holding on to hope, though, and he was glad to hear her speaking of it, too. Many of them were losing their ability to see hope.

"I think you're right, and we all need to keep what hope we can: it might seem a little foolish, but hope is one of the best weapons we have right now. It keeps us strong and helps us focus on the things we have to do. And I know that we will be able to reach a time when we don't have to hide in fear, clinging on to those hopes. Anyway, every little bit helps, so I'm sure your first aid kit will go to good use."

Seireitei nodded at his words. Things would be harder for everyone now. She just hoped they would still be able to get supplies out to the camp. "We will." There was much to be careful about. She smiled to herself. They would manage.

The hand on her shoulder was a reassuring thing. She knew he meant it as a comfort. That reminded her. "How are you Camelot? I'm so out of the loop sometimes, being in the city, that I forget to ask how everyone is doing. I sure hope Princess Ida is not running herself into the ground. We need all our royals strong enough for when this thing explodes. And I am pretty sure we will see a clash of massive proportions at the end of this. I fear it may be the only way." Her expression was one of calm. She had often thought of this and was prepared. There was no fear anymore. Seireitei was ready to sacrifice her very life to end this tyranny. "That's why the weakest soldiers like me are important. I have to make myself useful somehow. Though I think I need to train more or I'll be out of shape for the fight. Not much room for me to train in my bookstore or studio."

She flexed her muscles a little. There was still the instinct, the drive to fight. Her brother's had taught her well how to scrap it out on the streets. This was no street though and actual training would do her good. She needed to start preparing already for what she felt was inevitable.

"I'm doing alright," he said, with a smile. He kept on a brave face for most, because he had to and because he could not dwell on his losses all the time. They all suffered, some terribly so, and they needed things to hold on to. People to believe in and draw strength from. If he could offer that to anyone, he would do his damned best. If it kept them fighting, kept them believing in what small hopes they had, then he would strive to do his best for them in turn.

"I don't think you're weak, you're just learning. We all started out where you are now, though the conditions around us were different. If you would like, I can help you train for a bit. We can go to my wonder, the Negaverse can't get there and we're able to have a bit more freedom. I can answer any questions you have, and help you train, if you'd like. Well. I'll try to answer any questions you have."

He laughed at that, humble and shaking his head. He was not infallible and he did not know everything: there were a lot of things he just could not help with.

Regardless, he was always willing to help anyone, if he had the capacity, and he would offer his service to those that needed it. Because he was a knight, and that was what being a knight had always meant to him. Now it just seemed much more important to be available all the time.

It made Seireitei happy to hear that he was alright. Though she had a feeling he was hiding a lot. Then again, they all were. Not from each other because they had bad things to hide. No, they hid the negative feelings because it could really affect their side. Even she sometimes questioned herself and gave into how very depressing the situation actually was.

She smiled at his offer. "That would be great. I don't think I've been to an actual safe place since this started." That would be so relieving. It must be good that he can get away when he wants, escape to his wonder. Then again, she had heard that there were senshi and knights that had abandoned this war to live away from Earth. She wasn't entirely sure how to feel about that.

"Well, then Camelot is the place for you," he chuckled, nodding his head. At least he had that one comfort to offer. One place that, for now, Chaos had not been able to reach. He wanted to say it would always be that way but he could not guarantee it without risking breaking that promise later. All they could really focus on was what they had now, while worrying about what they might lose would just bog them down.

He could not afford to lose himself to negative thoughts and the weight of anxiety and pessimism. He had seen a lot and been through a lot, but he was not going to let anything beat him just yet.

"Did you want to go now? That's the one good thing about being a royal knight these days. Well, not the only good thing, but one of them. I have the strength to get to my wonder when I need to, as often as I need to. It being Earth based helps with that, too, I imagine. Some knights, I've discovered, find it difficult to access their wonders under the pressure Chaos his forcing down over this land. Whether that is true or not, of if something else is going on, I am not too sure."

Camelot had always been told he had a bad habit of babbling. While he felt he had reigned it in a lot over the years, he was still prone to unnecessarily long lectures and random observations. He smiled with a dopey look, embarrassed as he noticed he was getting a bit long winded, but his eyes were warm and gentle.

Seireitei had no problems with letting him speak. In the quiet of her bookstore, when customers were busy reading, negative thoughts tended to cloud her mind. It was something she hated. Negative thoughts were never good. It distracted her from what was important. That was staying positive and helping to beat back the chaos through sheer determination. However, if determination was all it took to beat them, she would have destroyed the Negaverse by herself already.

She smiled at Camelot. "Ready when you're ready." Having never traveled anywhere with someone to their wonder or star or planet, she wasn't quite sure how it worked. Seireitei waited for him to give her a clue as to what needed to be done. It was kind of exciting for her though.

Camelot nodded his head and was ready to head back to his Wonder. It was one of the few places he could go that felt safe and untouchable, though for how long was anyone's guess at this point. He tried to stay positive, though, and not take for granted the few graces they did have.

He put his hand on her arm and watched her, then soon enough he took them to his Wonder. It was easier for him than it was for others, especially with the weight of Chaos bearing down on them. Wonder travel was all but impossible for some, and he knew Senshi were no better off. But for the Royal Knight of Earth, his wonder seemed so close and so accessible, it was not out of his power to visit it frequently.

When they appeared they were in a grassy plain distantly surrounded by trees. It was much more vibrant and light here, the sun shining down and a soft breeze ruffling the emerald green grass. Not too far, just beyond the top of a hill, stood the castle of Camelot, restored through the hard work of knights and senshi over the years.

"Ah, well, here we are. This should be a good place to practice and learn a few things, hm? Why don't you start by showing me how you approach a fight, once it is inevitable that there will be one. Assume I am your opponent."

He took a couple steps back and motioned with his hands for her to begin.

Seireitei held her breath at the touch of his hand. She hoped he couldn't tell how nervous she was. Surely it was coming off her in waves. Energy was something she had to learn to read when she fully became a part of this war. At the same time, she was bouncing around in her mind with excitement. She felt almost giddy, like a child on Christmas waiting to open the first present. Her eyes closed of their own accord. For a moment, she kept them like that and then she blinked them open. "Oh my..." It was so beautiful and it stole her breath. Such peace, untouched by the hand of war, she nearly cried with joy. This, more than anything in recent days, boosted that hope in her.

She turned to Camelot, "Thank you. Thank you for bringing me here. I don't know how I could ever return the favor. You've helped me so much from the very beginning."

Seireitei gave a quick nod and then spread her legs into a more stable stance. The arm holding her weapon, the inner tube, was tucked close to her body for blocking. Her brother's had taught her that you never run head first into a fight. That was how stupid people got knocked out in one hit. So she circled him, studying how he stood, moved, where he wasn't protected. That last bit nearly made her scoff. She idolized him so much that in her mind, he did not have a weak spot.

"You don't have to worry about returning the favor, honestly. This is the very least I could do, and I am glad to do it, and more, if I can. I want to be able to help, and I am always going to be available for anything you need. Don't feel like you're imposing or making a debt, I promise I don't keep count." He chuckled at that, but he meant his words.

Too often, he found, people did not come for the help they needed or wanted because they had some sort of hang up. A wall built by pride or stubbornness, or just a shy streak that would not be crossed. They felt bad for asking too much, they felt stupid for needing the help. Camelot did not like those feelings, knowing how long it had taken for him to just get his footing in this war.

It took him ages to learn the basics, let alone the rest of it. He did not expect everyone to know everything right off the bat. And there was always more to learn. He was there because he could share what he had learned, and hopefully save someone else the time.

Or the terrible experience that had taught him, depending on the lesson.

Camelot watched her carefully. His stance seemed a bit more relaxed, and he did not call his shield. He would not, since he was not there to hurt her and his armor would defend him well enough. He was not entirely at his leisure, though, his muscles tense under his armor, and his footing just wide enough to allow him to move quickly if he needed to. He noted that she was circling him, and not attacking, so he opted to make the first move.

He lunged at her, aiming to catch her by the arm and incapacitate her.

Seireitei had been watching his movements. How he breathed, how he shifted, where his weight was centered. It was all important in a battle. It was what had help her beat men in her neighborhood. Her brothers had been so proud of her. They had the toughest sister in their part of the city. So when he came at her, she was sure she'd be ready but it had been too long since she had last fought. He was faster than she anticipated. His fingers and her arm just brushed before she whirled out of the way.

That was a close one. Her eyes lit up with adrenaline. This was definitely what she needed. A good bout of training, a spar. He was stronger than her so it would be a good lesson. She jumped forward and ducked down low to kick out at his legs, get him on the ground. Seireitei didn't know if he knew how to wrestle but she had done some of that back home with her brothers.
