Neko University Role Playing Rules & Explanations
Here are the rules for the guild. They are subject to change and we will make an announcement when the rules do change. Please follow them and prepare to face the consequences if you don't
1. Follow Gaia Online Rules, Guidelines, and Terms of Service.
-Pretty self-explanatory. We are under their roof, so we follow their rules.
2. When a violent scene occurs, do not kill or remove any body parts of any character.
-You may if you have permission
-This is also self explanatory. It would just be considered unfair.
3. The use of curse/swear words should be limited
-Its just respect, please limit the use of them.
4. Please respect people's Roleplays. Do not spam, troll, flame, or just be rude in anyone else's thread.
-Once again, its a respect thing.
5. Do not role play any sexual or any other extremely inappropriate activities (in this guild).
-Not only is it against the rules of Gaia, its extremely offensive to some people. This was the major downfall of the previous Neko University.
6. Do not puppeteer anyone's character.
-Once again, a respect thing.
7. Do not Godmod
-This includes:
--Killing
--Instant Injuring
--Using overpowered moves
--Puppeteer-ing
--Almost no leeway for defense.
8. Be as literate as you can.
-We all can't be Shakespeare, but try to be as literate as you can.
9. Be original/no plagiarism.
-We expect everyone to be creative in this guild. You may make small references to shows and books, but copying a whole segment, word for word, is just out of hand. Try to mix it up with your own style. We can't have 23,000 Lelouches or Shanas.
10. Listen to all crew and captains.
-They are here to keep order in the guild. If they ask you to do something, it is probably for the better.
11. Do not bother or harass any individual in the guild.
-Pretty self explanatory. If someone is feeling uncomfortable with something that you are doing, then stop doing it.
12. Do not take over or tamper with anyone's thread, RP, or profile.
-Its really hard to do this if you aren't a crew member, but don't suddenly make it look like you now own a roleplay when the owner of that thread is still maintaining their roleplay.
13. Have fun!
-This might be a given, but we really do expect everyone to be active and have fun. That's what this is all about, right?
