~Personality:
~Pros~
☪ Cheerful: Rarely found without a smile, Finny sees everyday as another opportunity to better the world. While she can enjoy her own goodwill and happiness, and also help others achieve their own sense of it; she is not one to shove the thought of being happy down anothers throat. If someone is determined to be gloomy she'll simply let them be and plop down next to them infectious grin refusing to relent.
☪ Hard-Working: Once Finny has a goal in mind she becomes relentless in it's pursuit. Admittedly she does have a tendency to get distracted but when push comes to shove she makes sure to pull through somehow, un-willing to let anything slip out of her grasp. Whether exercising the horses out in the field or training to join the military, it's all in or bust when Finnia is around!
☪ Dreamer: Ever since she was a small child in the confines of Stohess, Finny has dreamed relentlessly. Her dreams range in size, from her childlike fantasy of flying with the birds, to her more recent dreams of life outside of the walls. No matter the size, when Finnia dreams her whole heart is in it and she will do anything necessary to pursue those dreams. (This has, in the past, caused several accidents. Take note: Children cannot fly, even when holding a fistfull of feathers and "flapping" as hard as possible.)
~Cons~
☪ Scatter-brained: Despite her sometimes "pig-headed" determination Finny often gets distracted by a number of things. These include, but are in no way limited to; interesting conversation topics, food, horses, shiny objects, new tasks, companions, or any general curiosities/ never before viewed objects.
☪ Stubborn: Finny has a very particular way that she views things in the world and she is very stubborn when other people try to make her see things from another point of view, especially if it directly goes against her own. When asked to do something she doesn't particularly feel like doing, she also puts up a considerable fight, no matter the person giving the command. This fact often caused strife between young Finnia and her school teachers and will undoubtedly give at least one of her seniors a migraine.
☪ Talkative: Being the cheerful, people-loving person she is, Finny enjoys a good conversation! Or a bad one. Honestly Finnia just enjoys talking in general. When asked why she always responds with, "How else will I learn anything about the people around me?" For the most part though that is just an excuse. The great thing about her frequent logorrhea: No need for torture! Just pose as an ally! The bad thing: She no longer loses her voice...
☪ Messy: Despite her mother's constant chidings early in her life, young Finny held no desire to waste time keeping a clean house. As she got older this turned into unintentionally becoming a full on slob! At least as far as living spaces are considered. Though her own appearance seems pretty average, eveyone can always tell where Finny is sleeping by the: somehow made yet worse then before bed, the scattering of clothing pieces that you didn't even know she owned, and of course the bit and bobbles collected from the outside world that serve no purpose.
~Physical Traits~
☪Wiry: Finny has a relatively good amount of muscle for her size, formed mostly from riding, and climbing. Her wiry build also allows her to be more flexible then your average strongman.
☪Balanced: A key skill in both staying atop your horse on uneven terrains and crossing rooftops, Finnia has excellent balance, honed over years of general use.
☪Weak armed: Despite her "surprising" amount of muscle, Finny does not even lift. The most weight she can support is own body weight hanging from an edge of some sort. She simply does not have the genes necessary to build enough muscle for heavy lifting. That being said, hand to hand combat; not her specialty.
☪Small: To be frank, finny is simply a small person. This fact has proven useful when she is exploring tight areas, or trying to sneak about unnoticed. But every good thing has a price and being small has also caused Finny no end of grief. With horse riding she is often too short to mount without the assistance of an inanimate object. (Though once she actually managed to successfully vault high enough that she could scramble on.) She also finds no end of heartache when paired to fight someone whose arm length is almost double here own. When your opponent can just put their hand on your forehead to effectively keep you away, it's humiliating.

~Brief Biography~
Finnia Renee Martens was born within the walls surround the city of Stohess, and this came with it's advantages, and disadvantages. Her mother Eleanor Marie Bilicki (formerly Martens) had long abandoned her "duty" to the family business started generations before, in favor for a more comfortable homebody life that was filled with frivolous fancies and desires. This lifestyle choice of Eleanor's was only possible because of her husband's success as a merchant. Jaren Edward Bilicki owned a small cobbler's shop that had enough "high quality" clients to afford slightly nicer things. "Everyone needs shoes." Jaren would often tell his daughter when ever she asked about his work. "The key to guaranteed success, is always having a product that is considered something of a necessity." Those "heartwarming" talks were probably the most that Jaren ever said to his daughter. Though he never complained, because of Eleanore, he only viewed Finnia as a hindrance to be worked around.
While growing up in the city Finnia often found herself growing restless when forced to pursue what her mother deemed a "proper ladies" hobbies. To escape these boring activities Finnia spent the majority of her free-time out of the house and her mother's reach. Of course, the streets of any city are rarely a safe place for "well to do" children to roam, and as a means of avoiding trouble Finny had several friends who would lend her clothes that allowed her to move about more freely in exchange for extra food Finny would steal from the kitchens. It was her time among the other children that shaped Finny the most in her youth. They showed her the joys of climbing up in high places and talked often of the rumors they heard from beyond their city walls.
When Finny was 7 years old her mother began to grow frail, weakened by cancer, an ailment none knew how to deal with. Though Finnia and her mother rarely saw eye to eye on anything, this didn't lessen the blow any as Finny still loved her mother dearly. The day that her mother passed Finny locked herself in her room and cried for hours before finally collapsing from exhaustion. The next morning her father made her pack her things and he had a carriage come and take her to live with her Grandfather. Now that his wife was dead, he felt no need to care for the girl he never wanted anyway and chose to mourn her alone. Without any hindrances. She moved to her Grandfather's farm a week after her 8th birthday and got to experience, for the first time, fields that stretched a seemingly endless distance and allowed for any number of thoughts and emotions.
For the next 8 years of her life, Finnia worked happily at her Grandfather's side and found little complaint with life. Yet even as she found joy in working with the horses, Finny couldn't help the feeling that with every passing day the world around her was shrinking and the barrier that is wall Rose was inching closer and closer. The feeling persisted until one day a very different group of people visited her grandfather's farm to pick up horses they had purchased. These people wore green cloaks adorned with the wings of freedom. The Scouting Regiment. Thinking back on the studies she had only paid half a mind to at the time, Finny's curiosity perked up, and bid her to approach the group and ask about their experiences. The majority were reserved and did not answer but one woman with black hair and mischievous brown eyes too her time, while the others handled the transaction, and told Finny of many things. The territory just outside of the walls, the titans, she answered every question the girl asked before she had to leave and left Finny with a sense of wonderment and a curiosity that could not be sated by stories alone. For a year Finny considered it. For a year she continued to work on the farm as the ever pressing feel of the walls closing in on her also continued. Until finally she told her Grandfather of her decision. She was going to to join the Scout Regiment and do everything she could to make life without the walls a reality for humanity. As she made her declaration, her grandfather could find no protest within him, not because he was not worried about her future, but simply because he had seen the same look in his daughters eyes when she said she would get away from the farm life, and he already knew his every attempt to dissuade Finny from her goal would fall flat.
So instead he encouraged her dreams, and wished her luck, safety, and told her how proud he was to be her grandpa.
