BBWrestling.com is now reporting that the current OECW Seasons Champion, The Man Called Boom, has been injured and will be unable to compete in the near future. Sources are not confirming what his injury may be or the source of it. When asked for a comment, General Manager Matt Shanahan only gave, "The issue is being dealt with, and Boom will get the best medical treatment we can afford. He wishes to keep this entire thing a private matter."
The Man Called Boom has been heralded as one of the rising stars of BBW, being the man to end Shadow's reign as Seasons Champion. The current state of the OECW Seasons Championship is unknown. More to come on this development.
