ok im trying to build a izzt deck.. hard to do! but i know i can think up of sometihng... i just need some suggestions on how i should approach such a color combo.
now i know a few cards are on the top of my list of uber cool...
izzt guildmage
gellectrode
niv-mizzet, the firemind
izzt conarch
Djinn Iluminatus
o ya here is another question, why int he world is hipervolt grasp considered a grull card when it is a red card with a blue 2nd ablity. not to mention it screams izzt with what it does.

And the red/blue card was mis-printed with Gruul stuff.

Also the glaring 'I instantly win' combo (That I still can't believe Wizards allowed) is a Guildmage out then cast Lava Spike w/ Desperate Ritual spliced on...you can replicate it any number of times (namly enough to kill you opponent stressed )

Invoce((SP?)) the fire mind is always a good Izzit card I have like 13 but hate Izzits guts with all my power....((Damn izzit talking over all other guilds))but ha thats just a suggestion.

Mindmoil + Niv-Mizzet makes a good combo and you could do what i'm doing with my Izzet deck and add Saromaro, Graceful Adept, and Jushi Apprentice for some extra kick.

fk3241 Mindmoil + Niv-Mizzet makes a good combo and you could do what i'm doing with my Izzet deck and add Saromaro, Graceful Adept, and Jushi Apprentice for some extra kick. Nice mix!
