I love Crystal. Its nice to see it stay truer to the manga. I can't wait for the 3rd episode. biggrin

I loved how Chiba always noticed that Luna could talk in the manga and its hilarious to see it in the anime. Really excited for episode 3! I just wish Usagi's facial expressions were more exaggerated like they are in the manga? She isn't really that expressive, at least not compared to the old anime.

the introduction of Sailor Jupiter is by far better then in the 90s classic version of the anime. This was so much better.
Is anyone else enjoying the less boy crazy characters?
Its so nice to see how well Rei sences people aura.
Chiba leading Usagi to Makoto was way cool.

I think Sailor Moon Crystal does a great job following the manga and I think it is an awesome anime as well. I can't wait to see what happens next.

ranchlamb the introduction of Sailor Jupiter is by far better then in the 90s classic version of the anime. This was so much better. Is anyone else enjoying the less boy crazy characters? Its so nice to see how well Rei sences people aura. Chiba leading Usagi to Makoto was way cool. I am definitely enjoying the less boy crazy characters! I also enjoyed how the mangaka was able to hint at the Senshi/Shitennou relationship in the anime since she wasn't able to fit into the manga like she thought about doing. A lot of people were upset by it but you guys knew they were gonna die anyway ok pls chill let us have our 2 secs of doomed romance because they are never coming back. moonlight_peach12 I think Sailor Moon Crystal does a great job following the manga and I think it is an awesome anime as well. I can't wait to see what happens next. Same! I need the next episode right now. I love binge watching shows so waiting for episodes always kills me.

I really need to sit down and take in Crystal a bit at a time. Just so I can soak in the differences from the 90's anime, and research where it deviates from the manga, most likely as an updated retelling.

SuperS was amazingly well done, beautiful and true to the manga. Had that non Chibi-usa obsessed feel of the manga which is refreshing, though I felt the music of the original was better.

I really like what Viz Media has done with Sailor Moon in general. Nothing is edited out. The dialogue is dubbed well with better voice actors and doesn't alter the anime's intended storyline. The original 90s anime is done so much better and Crystal is a fresh, new retelling of the manga that is faithful to the lore.
