- - STORY - - It's been decades since Demise's defeat. Pockets of Hylians, originally from Skyloft, called the surface their home. However, as time went on and those with any memories of Skyloft died, those remaining are now envious of what they think to be a utopian society. They feel like the Goddess forgot about them and the relationship between the surface and Skyloft are now... strained at best. - - CHARACTER SKELETON - -

- - CHARACTERS - - This is a quick reference of all the characters currently in the roleplay. This post will be continuously updated. - - SKYLOFT CHARACTERS - -

Name: Skylar

Background: Skylar grew up in Skyloft. With the success of his older brother Chase, his parents decided to enroll him into the knight academy and hoped for the same result. However, Skylar didn't do any of his work due to the crippling condition known as laziness and ending up flunking out. He's now a disappointment to his parents and to Chase, as he is the only one who lacks any ambition to actually do anything with his life. He still lives at home and he's quite content there, despite continuous arguments with his parents.
Weapon/Abilities: Though he lacked any ambition to pick up a sword, he found that he enjoyed the bow and arrow when he was still enrolled. He could sit back and shoot without using much effort at all, so it became his preferred way of combat. He always keeps the quiver on his back and his bow near by.
Items: He doesn't keep much on him, aside from arrows and a necklace he made with a feather from his loftwing. - - SURFACE CHARACTERS - -

Background: Aeryn grew up on the surface, hearing story after story of the wondrous utopia known as the heavenborne Skyloft. Her parents often described it as a wonderful place, touched by the Goddess - the "blessed people", they called them. As the years wore on, and both her parents were lost to surface creatures, Aeryn began to wonder why the so-called "blessed people" were so blessed in the first place. Why did they get special treatment just because they were on a few floating hunks of rock? What about those down on the surface who struggled to survive? Aeryn came to resent Skyloft, assuming those that resided there were lazy, ungrateful, and had never done anything to be worthy of the Goddess in their lives.
Weapon/Abilities: Aeryn was lucky in her upbringing; her parents were a blacksmith and a priestess respectively. Her mother had brought down three powerful gems when they left Skyloft, and her father fashioned a sword that allowed the gems to be set into the hilt. Each gem can only be activated for a short period of time due to Aeryn's magic ability, though. The red gem sets the blade aflame, the blue gem forms a shield on Aeryn's left arm, and the green gem enhances her footspeed.
Items: Aeryn has a belt with several pouches to hold food and other small items, and a cloth sack for anything larger. Aside from that, all she usually carries is an old storybook depicting the story of Skyloft and the Goddess.

Description/Image: 5'2" tall, shaggy purple hair, black cloak with a hood that fits his head hiding his face, black long sleeve shirt, black leather pants.
Background: As a baby, Kyou was left for dead in the woods by parents who decided they didn't want him. He cried for hours till a wolf as dark as midnight came to the sound. The wolf took him to its pack, raised him as though one of its own. He learned to hunt, sprint, and sneak as a wolf does. He knows nothing of Skyloft and still lives in the woods of land.
Weapon/Abilities: He uses a bow as his preferred weapon. But within close range he pulls pulls out a dagger made from wolf teeth. He has the ability to hear the heart beat of his enemy, his nose is extremely sensitive, and he can hear a pin drop from a mile away.
Items: He carries meat with him, and a jar of fresh spring water. - - NEUTRAL CHARACTERS - -

Alliance: Neutral - she'll help anyone who she feels needs it and tends to stick around with them until she gets her rupees.

Background: Circe was born on the surface and was raised by her mother. She learned everything about potions from her mother and still uses that knowledge to crave out a living by travelling and selling her potions. She left her village in favour of exploring and getting to know the surface, but still occasionally wanders back home for a while. All of her piercings were done by herself and she's always looking for new sports for more modifications.
Weapon/Abilities: She's practically unarmed but she has a way with potions. Circe can make the standard potion that heal, boost stamina or offer protection and she upgrade those for a higher price. When it comes to defending herself, she really has no options except for her fists and feet and prefers to bargain her way to safety if possible.
Items: She stores most her items in her bag, including a sewing kit for repairs on her own clothing and for her bag. She uses the same needles for piercings. Inside the bag, she keeps a lot of extra bottles and all the materials necessary to make potions from scratch. She never carries anything necessary to upgrade the potions - that's up to the customers to provide for themselves.

Background: Just like his younger brother, Chase was born and raised in Skyloft. Chase grabbed every opportunity he could since he was young boy looking up to other knights. He became an official knight at the age of eighteen and he's currently training to be a knight on night patrol for the extra experience. Nothing is ever good enough for Chase and he's always aiming higher, even if that means looking down below the clouds for fresh opportunities.
Weapon/Abilities: He has his trusty sword, which he picked up during training. He doesn't have the heart to let it go and he's fully convinced that even an old blade can be deadly in the right hands. He also keeps a dagger in each of his boots in the case that he loses his sword, and in extreme cases he fight with his hands and feet.
Items: Chase keeps the standard sailcloth on him at all times, along with a sharping stone he got from his father.
