Frontal vision is fine, but he suffers from distinct vision loss in his left peripheral to where objects are not disconcernable in detail. He can see the color, shape, movement, but anything beyond and he would need to turn his head)

Personality:
I am fawnkin (adoeable): Puns and joke dominated Rose's life since birth and as a way to cope with the notion that his very existence was a 'joke' he will make jokes at the expense of others or use puns in attempts to come off as friendly or approachable. However the truth is he holds a very distinct, thriving HATE for jokes and puns. He will try to charm his way with wit and if that doesn't work then with what most people consider kindness. However his actions tend to not be heartfelt as Rose is a-

Sociopath: Make no mistake, Rose is 100% utterly ******** up mentally. A lack of empathy, a charming persona when it suits his wants and needs, a lack of caring for social stigmas, a dislike for people on the whole, a passive watcher to acts of cruelty or a disattached participant. Rose is a sociopath. Rose is the one who will watch you bleed out because he doesn't particularly care. He will walk away from your suffering because he just doesn't understand it. Not always born of malice, Rose knows his mental state is unlike most normal people. As a result, he knows he will never fit in, and thus he makes further attempts to mimic those that do. He'll never be 'normal' or well developed and adjusted, but even he knows in the right environment, he might be able to just exist. Or at the very least have an outlet that will allow him some form of a life.

Delicate: Sensitive to emotions he might not be, but food? Changes in routines? Pattern alterations? Rose is good at picking up things and also is fragile in the same way. Changes and aggressive prying prompt frantic reactions, his body's weaker constitution making him ill if he makes a mistake in eating something that he just can't digest. He'll never be strong and while he accepts that fact, he knows what he lacks physically he must compensate mentally- So learning to watch a mimic people, even on the smallest things, is one skill that is crucial to his ability to interact with society as a whole.

Selective: Being able to 'read' or at least understand people in how they act but not particularly why they act is a driving factor is what Rose needs to know in order to interact with people. He has to be able to analyze and act based on the best outcome. To do this, Rose must regularly chose what fits best. Does he make a joke? Does he accept a gift? Does he say thank you or no thank you. Choice making is an act of thought broken from emotional empathy- while slight narcissism and selfishness might play a role in motivation for an initial movement, the choices until the goal is met are rather liner and congruent with how they are made.

Non judgmental: For all his lacking of understanding emotions, Rose is perhaps helpful in a very singular, particular way.
He does not, and will not care what you do provided it does not interfere with him.
He won't hold a grudge over jokes or puns, (though he hates them), nor, will he take much a slight when people might avoid him or if they might grow fond of him. Rose exists under the thought that humans or complex things and he is just unfortunetly complex but in a different way than many are. If you had to kill a fellow trainee for mercy? He really won't feel that it was wrong or right. His thoughts and feelings change nothing. If you rape someone? It wasn't him and while you might have just ruined someone's life, it wasn't his and he doesn't understand WHY it should matter. In these extreme examples he also doesn't understand WHY someone confessing their love matters. He doesn't get why people cry when Titans kill.

Overall: Rose doesn't grasp or understand the concepts of emotions or empathy. He LACKS THIS and makes up for it by mimicking what is seen to be social norms though outside human observance.

History:
His mom and dad were hippies. Basically. Commune with the land, be one with nature- They really did think that the earth itself was a being and that titans were just big animals. They had been expecting a girl and when they got a boy?
Rose was raised as a girl until he went to the nearby town and discovered that gasp no he was a boy.

Rose didn't get much of an education or socialization. His family was isolated in the woods, and since his parents spent all their time gardening, telling jokes, and generally, never paying all too close attention to their son, said son did not develop with much socialization in any normal way.
Uneducated, nearly completely socially inept, he was slightly more confused than concerned with his parents died. A simple mistake of a poisonous mushroom, a food he couldn't eat, and both his caretakers were dead.

Rose dug them graves, buried them, and just worked their small farm for the following few months. He raised what he could, keeping what he needed, selling the rest. When it became apparent he could no longer care for the farm, he sold everything he could and lived in the town for a few months, taking to mimicking people to get a basic grasp on just how city life worked.

He lasted 1 year.
After a year Rose knew he was sick and he would die the next winter without a way to pay for any substantial housing. So, he chose to enlist.

It should be noted Rose was born within wall Rose, however his parents made sure to give him the last name of Sina simply because they could.
Rose has a lot of bitter memories of his name and his family tyvm.

Clarified his level of blindness, and he isn't sickly as he's just flat out, delicate. He is limited in what he eats and has minimum body strength. He can work, (else how would he have managed to support himself even if for a short time), but he is very much aware that he's just physically weak and doesn't have the stomach for most things.

And he actually doesn't have hobbies. He just flat out doesn't. It's part of his disconnect. He doesn't have anything in particular that he does for pleasure, but he also hasn't been exposed to social activities, nor to a great deal of things outside of his home. He might gain 1-2 hobbies later on but right now, he doesn't have any hobbies to speak of.
