Welcome to the Dream Realms!


The Dream Realms is an rp subforum dedicated to RP in the world of dreams. It is a place where Oneiroi can interact and rp with one another without being attached to or interrupted by their Dreamers. Typically, this occurs when the Dreamer is sleeping, but not experiencing the dream that their Oneiroi is attached to.

Please remember, the Dream Realms belong to the Oneiroi and their Dreamers do not know of this place. They cannot experience it as the Oneiroi do and are not able to enter it at all.

The roleplaying setup is very similar to the RP Guidlines of the rest of the shop/guild, with the following exceptions:

  • Only Specters, Reves/Nightmares, and Lucid Dreams/Night Terrors may RP in the Dream Realms. Earlier stages of an Oneiroi are not able to enter because they are still bound to their catchers.

  • You must place at least a basic description of the setting in the first post of a Dream World RP thread. Dreams are capable of changing, and the Dream World is the same way. Giving a setting helps other players understand the situation their Oneiroi is a part of, as well as how they can change it (an ability starting at the Reve/Nightmare stage). Because everyone dreams differently, it helps to give as much detail as you can in the setting description in the first pot.

  • Nightmares and Reves intermingle: there is no separate sections or worlds for the two, though Nightmares may be drawn more to certain places and Reves to others. This is much like people in our own world and where they might live.

  • Your pet has a home in this world. Oneiroi are dream spirits and come from this world originally. Their home may still be intact or it may not, as well as any friendships/enemies/debts they had before they were called to the Dreamer and bound by the catcher. The situation waiting for them when the Oneiroi returns is up to you, but please make sure to avoid god-modding other characters and their backgrounds, as well as burdening your Oneiroi with extremes.

  • Get creative! Remember that this is the Dream Realm, and anything can happen in dreams...

  • The staff may include posts in your thread! This will happen very rarely, but if there is something going on with the shop meta, it may affect the Dream World and those inside of it.
