Has anyone watched the rebooted Sailor Moon? (It's subbed only atm, I watch it on Crunchyroll).

Personally I was a little let down that it doesn't really seem to have a new vision. In comparison to the modern magical girl anime out there Sailor Moon feels incredibly dated. Which is sad, I was really looking forward to Crystal giving us a modernized Sailor Moon for a new generation.

For anyone who's seen the new series, what do you think about it?

Being the Sailor Moon fan I am I'm glad they didn't change any of the first eps. I hope they we don't have to wait for long fullers just to see the other scouts but even so I was impressed with it. The new animation was nice, the new theme song is beyond perfect and well I giggle at the same parts.

I was worried that they would change it to make it like Mew Mew Power, or the other horror/magical girl show. But I'm glad Sailor Moon stayed Sailor Moonr

I am a die hard Sailor Moon fan. Have been since a was a wee thing... I haven't seen any of the new stuff unfortunately! But I can't WAIT for it. If it's like you say then I have to agree with Cpt Cardiac Arrest. I would be so disappointed if Sailor Moon was something entirely different.

I'm gonna make it a point to watch it in the next couple weeks.

I think I just wanted to see a Sailor Moon which had updated scenery. Have a few characters with cell phones, or perhaps a laptop/desktop on Usagi's desk. I don't really feel like it needed to go darker or anything, I just can't help but feel like the rebooted series is still taking place in the 90's.

Well I'm glad they didn't make it like Madoka razz that would have been horrid.

I didn't feel like the animation or intro were exemplary. But I wasn't a huge Sailor Moon fan going into it, so I'm comparing it more to other anime than to itself.
