ackground Information » Personality: Izumo is a very concealed and intimidating person. He believes that in order to obtain the upper hand and to show dominance, you must strike fear into people, and that will reveal your true powers. He is a very neutral person and doesn't try to show extremes of emotion in any situations. There is a lot about his life that he does not reveal to anyone from his own perference and chooses not toreveal his family ties or past to anyone.

Younger Years
With a dark past, Izumo tends to keep most of his background to himself and has never shared his past and family ties to anyone. After the previous Great Ninja War and The Foundation had once again been reconstructed, Izumo's Uncle and Father joined with a lust for power in order to protect what they loved most, their village and families. Through there belief that Danzo's predecessor would give them power beyond their wildest dreams, power that would surpass a Kage, they followed every order and made every sacrifice necessary in hopes of obtaining this power. The sacrifice both were willing to make was to kill their families in order to obtain the Mangekyo Sharingan, a greater source of power. On the night after the New Year, when Izumo was still only a chunin, his father and uncle struck. At the time, Izumo, his sister, 2 brothers and mother were at home waiting for their father to arrive home like every other normal day. Izumo's father walked in the front door with his uncle and drew their katana's, not even showing a sense of sorrow with the task at hand. The attack ended up being a failed success in the sense that Izumo's father managed to trick Izumo into killing one of his brothers through his advanced genjutsu and ninjutsu which messed with Izumo's mind and his Uncle managed to fatally wound his mother. But the failure of the mission was when in an extreme fit of rage after killing his brother, Izumo went into a crazed state and massacred his Uncle and Father, leaving the only expression of paralyzing fear carved into their faces after seeing the power Izumo possessed for his rank and age. After the fight, Izumo had obtained the Mangekyo Sharingan from killing his brother and the scene that was left for the ANBU to observe was his mother fatally wounded, his brother dead with a stab wound through the chest, his other brother and sister traumatized with fear, his father and uncle slashed to shreds and Izumo laying on the floor unconscious and covered in blood. His mother survived the fatal wounds after a month of recovery, and while his brother and sister were traumatized from the event, they were mentally able to recover and were able to continue on as shinobi. From then on, Izumo strived to become Hokage and find a way to obtain total peace and power.
Later Years
After the incident with his family, Izumo needed to escape his past and begin a new life. With his newly acquired genjutsu powers, Izumo managed to 'convince' those in charge of the nations archives to erase all traces of his name from the archives. His last name was eventually changed to Okuda, and his entire profile was completely changed. Swiftly running through the ranks of Jonin and upward, Izumo achieved his goal as becoming Hokage and as seen as people's person in the village, but in a very distinct way and not without challenges. At a political standpoint, Izumo stood out over everyone with his goals of attempting to resurrect the nation of fire to its peak potential at whatever the costs may be, which led to him being chosen as Hokage. His mother passed away when Izumo was 25 years old due to a disease that fatally affected her respiratory system, and has been searching for his brother and sister after he was forced to move away from his family for a few years in order to train. Izumo also strives to one day create everlasting peace among the nations and to never allow any force to threaten his home and nation , but, he openly admits that peace can only be obtained through conflict, which will lead him to do anything necessary to protect his people. Even as the prestigious Kage of the Hidden Leaf, Izumo does have his secrets that he keeps from anyone and everyone. The biggest secret that Izumo keeps from his Village and anyone he knows is that he is an Uchiha, also one with possession of a Mangekyō Sharingan. While it's deemed to be one of the nations most powerful Dojutsu, he'd also be sought after and hunted for it for others to obtain it for implants or for other power hungry Uchiha wanting an Eternal Mangekyo. Having the nation know that he was an Uchiha could potentially bring Konoha under duress and put him in a bad position.
