Hey I'm looking for info. The only thing that will make the revamp of Sapphire worth my attention is if they're gonna keep the secret bases they had in the original version. I happen to own the original and to me that was the coolest feature. Does anyone know if they're keeping that?

I've known a lot of people who are real crazy about Secret Bases. To me, they were a really fun aspect, but nothing too great. It was fun setting up under Cycling Road in the bush you had to Surf to. And it was fun setting up the planks in certain bases to have extra room, etc. But overall, there really wasn't much you could actually do with them. I hope they incorporate some worthwhile activities this time. Battling, trading, EV training, or just something that would actually make them worth going to other than to decorate.

Dude it used to be that if you used infrared connection to link to someone their base would show up in your world and you could battle them there without them being on. I remember doing that. It was fun and made for a good distraction. Tho...I don't remember how often you could do it before you had to connect to them again.

I know for a fact that they are allowing other activities in bases, because they advertised that you can become your own gym leader through your secret base.
