This was not one of those introspective nights where she'd thoughtfully monologue her way home while walking through the park and possibly encounter someone randomly and find herself cornered or jumped. No. This was one of those nights were she kept her hood up and powered through the alleyways. She was looking for something. Mostly trying to see what went on off the streets. So far, she'd seen more people make out in various states of dress near bars than homeless people.
A good sign? Maybe.
It was weird, to be honest. She didn't really know what she was looking for except that she wanted to find something. Andronicus had reasoned out she was bored, or restless. No, something in the back of her head said she needed to find something.
It was then she felt Chaos on her internal radar. She slowed to a stop in the middle of a four pronged alleyway junction. The page moved towards each exit, 'listening' to that radar. Andro snorted quietly as she found the correct tunnel. Just like the Lost Woods in Ocarina of Time.
She stepped into the next junction and stopped. "I'm sure you can sense me. I'd like... to ask you a question." She projected her voice so it echoed off the buildings, hoping to catch the other's attention. She just hoped she got out of this alive, too.xIvynian I am so sorry for the wait ><;

"A word of caution; don't go to war when you're alone. Youma lack compassion and Chaos is coldharbour. " The captain dropped from a fire escape to land crouched and silhouetted in the exit towards more free paths instead of the labyrinth of alleys. She stood slowly, white teeth splitting the dark in a grin. There was a light scent of pipe tobacco. "But yes. I can sense you, knight." "Less than a knight, really. Dance with me, sweet charade, and I will answer your questions. If you make it through the waltz. " Knout appeared in her hand that gestured for it by her long hip. The Captain had felt the order signature, tracking it in the dim and trying to find the source. The voice had come as happy serendipity in the moments she'd though she should check down one of the other branches. But now the pretty doll was apparent, found and accounted for. And curious? I like curious.

Andronicus chuckled softly. The Captain was not the first to tell her to not to go war alone. Acubens had said the same at one point. The Page did not take the jive to her not being a 'knight' to heart; she'd get there eventually. For the moment she was content on her place in the world. Did she want more power? Didn't everyone though. Was she reckless and haphazard and generally showed a lack of care for her own life? Well yes. At the same time, she understood the destruction one of power could cause. It was a burden, not a gift.
She pulled her mace from her belt and gave a nod. "I will dance with you," she said with a grin of her own. The young woman stepped to the side, sizing up the Captain for a moment. There wasn't a way she could beat her in combat; she simply held more power than Andronicus had access to, and probably much more battle experience. It was a risk Andronicus was willing to take though.
"My question is simple. Do you believe there can be a balance between the two sides, Order and Chaos? Do you think there could be anyway for both sides to live without constantly killing each other?" She circled the Captain, not wanting to make the first strike. The whip was going to hurt when it landed, and she wanted to put that off as long as possible.Ivynian Feel free to bloody Andronicus up.

"Listen to yourself, rabbit. You're contradicting and answering in your own questions." The captain laughed, mirroring the circle for a few moments, a few breaths. "Can there be balance between order and chaos...oh, yes...there could be a balance. But don't expect Chaos to seek it. What IS Chaos? It is primeval, a formless congestion of all elements, it is hungry, it wants its infinity back. How many myths do you know start with the formless state of non-being prior to creation? It was all things and from it all things sprung. This formfulness, this state of being we all have, is a fluke. It is an accident. An we all belong back in the whole. " "It doesn't seek balance. It seeks wholeness. If you want balance, you'll just have to keep winning your little war against the rightful march of entropy," Schörl shifted quick as a snake, sprinting forward as she brought back and snapped forward the thongs to herd the page from circle towards bricks and mortar.

Yup whips hurt when they connected. She hissed as it snapped and caught her thigh. That was gunna leave a welt. The Page swung her mace in the direction of the Captain's face, but given that the woman was just so much faster than she was, she doubt it would. It was the 'thought that counts' though, right?
"Going back into the infinite nothingness is fine. You can't have one without the other though. Darkness is meaningless without the light. What purpose do you have if the light does not exist? Moreover, why do you - the Negaverse - want us dead? This is my home. I was born here. I've lived here my whole life.
"How is this your world and your world only?" She took a few steps back, aware of the walls behind her. Chaos and Order, dark and light where two sides of the same coin. Every myth, every story told a tale of these two forces opposing each other. Granted, 'good' usually won. But it was clear that one side couldn't exist without the other. There would always be chaos. There would always be order. Why couldn't there be a balance between them?

Quick and strong, the captain's opened palm pushed the haft of the swung mace aside in a modified cloud hand. She let Andronicus' swing momentum carry the knight forward and to the side. "Wrong again, luv. Where in any of this is 'dark' or 'light' involved to meaningful or meaningless in some fool binary. So stuck, 1s and 0s, men and women. If you're only playing on, then you'll get turned off. " The knout came around again, Schörl having the flank from letting the passage. It was a try at a body shot, metal interwoven in the thongs singing through the air.

A mighty fine dance, if she was any judge. It was very odd, their fighting flowed rather like the choreographed pieces she'd been apart of with her company. She took a few steps and spun to face the Captain again. Okay so either this girl was cryptic or really didn't think balance was possible. Alrighty, so stop thinking in binary.
One cannot exist without the other. If you take away Order, Chaos stops having a purpose. Sure, Chaos could take over and eradicate Order, but then they'd just have a planet to rule over. Those who were blood thirsty would loose their whole way of life, unless they started going after civilians. Possible; they did like to try to burn Order alive after all. She danced away from the knout.
"... Fair point." She tried rushing the Captain again, hoping to get inside the range of the knout and actually, you know, hit her for once. "Must be nice, having a singular guiding force to drive you."Ivynian omg sorry I took so long!

Schörl whorled in a waltz step, letting the knight pass again. The captain laughed, "Yes, rather nice." What a funny try play, coming off more jealous and petulant than aught else. Bitter of the herding cats that is a bunch of teens trying to decide anything more complicated than what toppings to get on their pizza? "Your perceived 'rights' of equality and survival are exactly what is always going to be in your way. Like Solomon's women- all you do with your equal shares and living together is cut the baby in half."

Andronicus tried to gage how long she could last against the captain before she could run off. If she could run off. Worse case, she'd get beaten to hell and hurt like s**t tomorrow. Best case? She'd smack the captain across the face and 'gtfo' out of there. Whether or not it would end up being possible, who knew?
"I'll keep that in mind. Well, I thank you for the opportunity to chat, but I really must be going. " The page shifted herself until her back was facing one of the alleys. She slowly edged backwards, hoping the captain would simply... leave her alone until next time.
Or she'd come at her with that knout.

That's all? Not even a discussion, really. Not even much of a dance. That's it. That's all you had to offer.
Boring. Schörl's smiles fell away to distaste. Still a chance of some good. With no arguments offered back, maybe this fish is hooked for a start. Maybe we'll have a convert? It is worth a single instance of reprieve. The captain straightened as the page sidled for the alley as though it weren't painfully transparent her hopes of escape. "So. Go." And in a blink, the captain herself was vanished away as no more than shadows in the alley.
