It was finally her wedding day and she was finally marrying her best friend! As Aria ran around checking last minute things she was pulled to the side, sat down in front of a mirror and was forced to stay there "now, Aria, you need to have your hair done so sit here and stop ruing your dress! I didn't get you to put it on just for the fun of it, I don't want you ruing your hair!" A pony peeked out from behind her, smiling at her in the mirror "you are going to be beautiful!" She said as she pulled back and started to work "I know but there is still stuff to do and..." she started before being interrupted "and nothing! I came all the way here to see my sister get married and to do her hair and so you are going to sit here and wait." Aria sighed "fine!" She said as she sighed, picking up a photo of the husband-to-be "my best friend, who would have known that some day I would of ended up marrying him?" she said as her sister spoke up "we all did? Her sister giggled "you two were never far from each other as children, always playing together, having sleep overs together, getting each other into trouble and somehow finding ways to get each other out of trouble etc and also, you two can't even stay away from each other even when you are meant to" she said as she gestured to the window across the room of the castle.

Aria peeked around the mirror and standing just outside near a tree and looking into the room Aria was getting her hair done in and there, looking in whilst the best man was going on about something with him, was the man she was set to marry but he was too busy looking in the window where she was and not paying attention to anything the best man said so he quickly waved to her, she waved back before her sister gently poked her. "Stop that, you two will have all the time to see each other later and besides, the groom isn't allowed to see the bribe before the wedding" she said as Aria sat staring at her reflection in the mirror again, if she didn't, she was sure her sisters poking would of gotten worse and then after a poking battle her dress would probably end up ruined but she did have to save one dance for that sister of hers later.

Outside was the groom and he had sighed and fallen against the tree with the best man staring at him "care to tell me what I just said?" He asked as the groom shook his head "thought as much" he said as he sat down beside him "seriously, you two have always been like this, ever since we were children, you, Aria, Sweet Treats and I all played together and were never far from each other but you and Aria left Sweet and I behind all the time, you two were always doing stuff without us, however did we stay so close?" The best man asked rhetorically as his friend spoke up "easy, we loved each other. Aria and I may have been a lot closer, doing more stuff without you two etc but at the end of it all guess who came back to you two? Besides, you two always seemed so busy, Aria and I wanted to hang out and you two ended up needing to be somewhere else so we had to do a lot of stuff without the both of you but we still remained close, no matter what happened we all would come back together and hang out as if Aria and I hadn't been spending the last six hours without you at all.

We caught you guys up, never leaving anything out, you two were always there with us in spirit, every other moment I ended up mentioning something to Aria about you or Sweet or she did so really, no matter if you two were around or not we still loved you and cared for you but yes, we did end up falling in love with each other when you were not around but that isn't going to change anything, we four are always going to be the best of friends, heck, you and Sweet are pretty much family to Aria and I, you two will be stuck with us for a very long time" the groom said as he got up and started walking away. "Come on, we have to get ready and what heart to heart we just had never happened" the groom said the boys walked on but just as they were about to get further a way a noise came from the tree they were under "and what 'heart to heart would that be?" A female earth said as she jumped down and grinned at them and the boys grinned at each other "our dearest Sweet, you were eves dropping?" The groom asked as Sweet nodded "I was on guard duty, making sure two certain men didn't see the gorgeous bride before the wedding "well didn't you do a bang up job?" The best man joked "he did see her so you suck at your job" he grinned at her "and if it wasn't his wedding day i would reprimand him for it but I will let this slide" she said as she walked off with them."

"So, how DID you and that groom of yours finally get together? You never did exactly tell us, does Sweets and that other friend of yours whose name I keep forgetting..." "it is Moonlit Skies, how hard is it to remember that?" Aria said to her sister with a sigh "you have only known him ALL. OUR. LIVES!" She said as she picked up a grape that was sitting on a near by table and ate it, she was starving yet she hadn't really been all that interested in eating for obvious reasons. "I have too many names to remember and this guy keeps annoying me so much that I don't really care for him" she said as her sister grinned "that is because he has had the hugest crush on you ever since we were kids, sure you are four years older then us but he still likes you" Aria said as her sister pulled a strand of hair out of her sisters face and pinned it "I know, Aria and there isn't a day that goes by that he doesn't tell me that he loves me so I like to forget his name if only to annoy him" she said as she grabbed a grape and ate it also "such a sweet sister I have" she said as she looked at the photo of her husband-to-be again "and such an annoying friend you have" she sad as she bent down and nuzzled her sister a little before carrying on with her hair "and for that you will have to wait for the speeches to hear how it came about" Aria teased her sister.

"So, you ready for this?" Moonlit asked his best friend who nodded "of course I am" he said as he was trying to hide his nerves "and are you going to listen to the celebrate?" He asked as the groom glared at him "I don't listen to you once and you condemn me for life, thanks" he said smiling at his friend "what can I say?" Moonlit said "you deserve it" he finished as they both took a deep breath and let it out as the music started to play he wedding march.

As the music played the flower girl walked out scattering rose petals around the place from a white saddle bag and the bridesmaids walked out after her, Sweets leading the lot of them as they walked up the isle and as she walked out of the tent that was near by she started up the purple carpet, father by her side as she walked up with him, Aria grinning from ear to ear as she neared her best friends and soon-to-be husband. Once they arrived at the front she looked to her father and kissed his cheek "thank you, daddy, I love you so much" she said as she bit back tears "I just wish your mother was here to see this day, she would be so proud of you" he said as he nuzzled her "I have her charm bracelet" she said gesturing toward her right leg "it would of been better had she been here but at least i have a part of her with me" she said, smiling fondly at him as he took his seat in the front as he watched his daughter be wed to the man he was pleased and proud to call son.

Aria stood by her mate and smiled at him "hi" she smiled at him "h..h..." the groom started, she looked radiant but yes, a loss for words he was which was why the best man nudged him "er...I mean, hi, you look exquisite" he said as he lent over and kissed her cheek "never have I seen you more beautiful then you look right now" Aria scoffed "great, nice to know you only NOW find me beautiful, maybe I should call this wedding off till you realize that i am beautiful in other ways also" she said as she poked her tongue out playfully at him "dont you dare!" He warned "or else I may just have to sweep you away and force you to do it another way "ooo sounds tempting but something tells my your soon-to-be father-in-law won't be too fond of that, he may like you but I think he would like to see his daughter be married with his own two eyes" she said as she faced the celebrant, ready to finally marry the guy who she had known her all her life.

As she turned to face one of her best friends she smiled at him and took a deep breath "I have written a speech for the reception but, and I know this is going to sound bad, I haven't written anything when it comes to my vows but even if I had I wouldn't want to go by them any way because I already know what I want to say and if I had written them down I would probably wouldn't go by them anyway. Whispered Moonlight I've been dreaming having a man like you since I was a little girl. You ended up being one of the constants in my life which made all my dreams come true. I love you more than words can possibly say, and I vow to carry on cherishing you every moment we share for the rest of our lives. You are my lover, my best friend, and now....my husband. I am so lucky to have you in my life, and I will love you forever.

I can't believe this day is finally here! Thank you for being the man that you are, and for loving me the way you do. I promise to make you happy, to always be there when you need me, and to support you no matter what you do. I am so excited to see what the future hold for us, and promise that no matter what it brings....we'll always be together. This is my vow to you.

I'm so proud to accept you as my husband. I vow to support and encourage you. To love you with all of my heart for the rest of our lives. I promise to be there in good times, and in bad, and to support you in every situation. I vow to never let anything come between us, and to put you before anyone else. From this point on, YOU ARE MY LIFE. I give you all my love, all my life, now and forever.

You are everything I have ever wanted in a man, and I feel so lucky to be standing here with you today. I love absolutely everything about you. The way you laugh, your smile, the way your eyes sparkle when we're together....the way you make me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world. You are the most important person in the world to me, and I promise to love you forever.

Today, I take you to be my husband. This will be a day that we will remember for the rest of our lives. I vow to love you and cherish you. To treat you with respect and cherish every moment we spend together. I promise to take care of you in good times, and in bad. To support you, and guide you, and be the best wife that I can. I vow to share life's achievements and success, as well as the disappointments and hardship. I vow all of these things from this day forward.

Whispered smiled at her as he took a deep breath and said his own:

I never knew that I could feel this way about another. You came into my life at an early age and showed me how to love the smallest of things, and taught me what it takes to be a man. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you. To laugh with you, take care of you, and be someone that you can depend on. I vow to love you today, tomorrow, and forever.

I am honored to take you as my wife. I vow to love you and cherish you. I promise to laugh with you in the good times, and cry with you during the bad times. I will help you up when you fall down, and be there to cheer you on when you're at your best. No matter what happens, I will love you and always be there for you. Today and forever.

I can't believe I'm looking into the eyes of my wife. You are the most beautiful woman in the world. More than that, you're smart, you always know how to make me laugh, and you are everything I ever wanted in a woman. Thank you for loving me, and I promise that I will love you for the rest of our lives, just as much as I love you right now.

From the first time we met, I knew you were someone special. The time we've spent together, has been the best time of my life, and I'm excited to see what the future hold for us. You are the woman I want to have a family with, grow old with, and spend the rest of my life loving. I vow to take care of you, in good times and bad, and always love you.

Today, I take you to be my wife. I vow to love you and cherish you, to keep you safe and protect you, to share the good times, and the bad. I promise to always love you, and to be faithful to you. I will always be there when you need me, and to be the best husband I can be. I vow to make this day, and each day after, one that you will cherish. Now and forever yours.

Aria couldn't help but let a tear roll down her cheeks as the celebrant finally stated that they were now man and wife, she knew she had picked the right man and happily and passionately kissed him as passionately and happily as he kissed her all to the sound of cheers from friends and family.

After the ceremony the two left the meadow of where the wedding was held, friends and family behind them "wait" Aria said as she finished walking down the steps "I need to do something" she said as she ran back to the tent and grabbed her purple saddle bag and slipped the speech she was finalizing into it and then ran back to the others. "Sorry, nearly forgot something" she said as she smiled at her new husband "so, ready to go?" She asked as Whispered nodded and then they both looked at Sweet and Moonlit "you two, you can come with us" they said in unison as the two of them dragged them off to the the carriage that was waiting for them and had them all climb inside.

"This is not meant to be happening" Sweet said as she made herself comfy "I know" Aria said as she grinned at her "but this is our day, Whispered and I may be getting married but you two are going to be joining us in almost everything we do regardless and always have so why stop now? This day may be mine and Whisp's but you two are our best friends and that means this day is as much yours as it is ours and besides, we have a small surprise for you two before we head to the reception" she said as she waved the bouquet at the others. "Single ladies gather in" she called before tossing the bouquet, not bothering to wait to see who got it before climbing into the carriage "we will meet you at the reception!" She called out the window as the ponys pulling the carriage moved on "a surprise?" Moonlit asked curiously "what do you mean?" "Don't worry" Whispered said "you will see soon" Whispered said as he sat down next to his wife and snuggled into her.

After about half an hour they finally stopped in front of a cage being looked after by a delivery pony and that cage held two phoenix chicks that were asleep and snuggled together "say hello to your two pets" she said as she lent out and picked up the cage and thanked the delivery guy "these two are parent-less, the parents had decided to abandon them and after making some meetings with a certain pony we said that I knew two ponys that would take great care of them and whilst they didn't usually let these sorts of things go to anyone we talked them into letting you two have them. They are brother and sister and very rare phoenix so I suggest taking great care with them" she said as she looked at her two best friends who just looked at each other and really didn't know what to say or do "er...we wanted pets?" Moonlit asked curiously.

"No, not exactly BUT we do know you two would want to have something that would be fun to have around the place when we are not here so we thought these two could keep you both company and a small reminder of who gave them to you, even if we are not here we will still be connected and more so since these two cuties come to you from us" she said as she nuzzled her new husband. "Besides, who else would take good care of them? We know you two and we know you both are kind ponys who will love them, we are certain we made the right choice" he said as the other two looked at each other again "well" Sweet started "how can we say no? We will accept them, of course we will, they will be well looked after and loved" she said as she smiled down at the two sleeping chicks "thank you" she said as she lent over and briefly hugged them both, Moonlit doing the same soon after.

"Right, now we have a party to get back to" Whispered said as he looked to his bride "ready to party all night?" He grinned as she nodded "but of course" she said as Sweet and Moonlit grinned and looked at each other "great because we have something in store for you two as well" he said as Sweet nudged him "hey! Shut it!" She said as Moonlit chuckled "too late now, they know we have at least something in store and why shouldn't they? It IS their wedding, can't keep them in the dark" he grinned as the Moonlit hit the roof of the carriage so they could move on "to the reception!" He called as he looked down at the cage, not sure what to name his little chick but he guessed that could wait.

Once they arrived they got out and started making their way toward the banquet that was set out just off from the center of the Valley, the trees were decorated in silver and purple decorations, the tables were covered with purple table cloths and silver centerpieces and different wedding decorations were at the side of the area etc whilst several tables to sit at and the rest of the seven tables was basically a buffet, the guests could help themselves and they, Aria and Whispered could just sit back, relax and dance the rest of the day away if they saw fit but before anything else Aria ran inside the castle and got changed into something more casual, elgant but casual, she didn't really want to ruin that gown, the simple but white and purple formal dress she got changed into she didn't want to get ruined either BUT she would of cared more if her wedding dress got ruined. "So, ready to have some fun?" She asked her new husband and best friends?"Of course!" They all called out in unison as Aria lifted out the cage out of the carriage and smiled at the pony pulling it "you may go" she said as she placed the birds next to a pony standing next to a tree who was talking to another "Jem, Kimber, I know that you have to get ready but please, won't you take care of the birds for a few moments? I don't know what to do with them exactly but you may have a better idea then I, I just want them placed somewhere where they won't be disturbed by the noise" she said as they nodded.

"Congratulations by the way" they both said in unison "thank you" both Aria and Whispered said at the same time "right guys, lets go" she said as they all started heading over to the reception "And here is the happily married couple!" Arias fathers voice rang out above everyone to which they all cheered and whooped "Moonlit walked off to the side as he and Sweets went to get something to eat and Aria and Whispered went to sit down at the main table, deciding to stick to the glass of bubbly that was on the table for them first, they could get food soon.

After about an hour of merriment it was time they all settled down and and the time was now for speeches and as they all went on about how great it was that they were now both together and different stories of their past etc that was brought up it was soon time for hers and her husbands speeches "right, I guess I will go first" she said as she stood up and took a deep breath, pulling some cards out of a small pocket that was hard to see in the dress she was wearing and placed them on the table "right, first of all I would like to thank you all for helping Whispered and I celebrate our special day" she said as she turned to her husband. "but the story everyone wants to know is how we finally got together so my darling let me retell the story of how we finally knew we belonged together, something no-one has ever known till now" she said as she took a deep breath and began "so many people have asked how we got together and I never wanted to tell and nor has Whispered and that has basically gotten on a lot of peoples nerves, everyone who has gotten together has a story of how it happened right? Well, we are no different, we just wanted to keep this a secret till today.

When we were teenagers Sweet and Moonlit had to spend time away from us, they had stuff to do with their families which meant that Whispered and I were on our own but we didn't just sit around and do nothing we spent the day together exploring the place, sure the four of us had been friends since we were children and explored the place a lot but this was different, we were different, I guess I had started looking at him differently for a while but never really thought much more of it but it wasn't till we had decided to explore a cave that we found deep in the forest way at the back that I had descoved how much I really really loved him till we had started coming out. We both were ill prepared, taking just a single knife and a flashlight but we did end up going rather fat into the cave that we ended up meeting up with a creature in there, not sure really what that creature was but all we could tell was that it was annoyed with us being in there so as we were carefully walking around it it was then it woke up, we were running from this creature when Whispered ended up falling down a small hole that we had just bearly missed as we came in and with this creature right behind us we couldn't really do anything so I decided that if Whispered was going to die I would die with him, at the time it wasn't a rational thought, no, but he was one of my three best friends and whilst I know Sweet and Moonlit would hate me for this I didn't want him to die by himself so as I sat there with him, tears streaming down my cheeks, knowing that this could possibly be the end of us this creature reached in and grabbed Whispered.

I didn't know what to do so I sat there, I had no experience with these things, we all had gotten into trouble but this had to be the worst yet so after my screaming of 'no, please, let him go!!' It was already getting dire, I climbed awkwardly out of the hole, looked around for something to...I don't know, hit him over the head with or whatever and couldn't find anything so I grabbed the knife, ignored the fact that this creature was basically breaking every bone in Whispereds body and god knows what else, and the fact that I had to save him was really all that was on my mind so I basically ended up jumping on him....somehow, and riding him as he tried to get me off before I ended up sticking the knife straight into the creatures back, hearing it cry out in pain I took it out, clinging to it and tried to climb up its back as it tried to get me off and it succeeded, I ended up falling off, knife falling to the ground and me ending up with a broken leg but as I crawled over to grab the knife the creature turned around just as I got it and started heading toward me but as I was at a loss at what to do all I heard with the pained voice of Whispered telling me to think back when we were children, think back to the time I ended up throwing a stone at him, hiting him square in the middle of the forehead, I had done that a couple of times when we were playing a little too roughly but this was different, this was some massive creature where I was too scared of being able to aim right and make sure the knife was going to hit the right right area etc so with a list bit of strength Whispered called for me to throw him the knife, I did as he said and he crawled over, waiting for the right moment, that moment being when the creature was about to rip my head off and thus not paying attention to where he was and ended up climbing up and sticking the knife straight into its heart, at least where he thought the heart was, and left it there and waited for a few moments before the creature fell down and no movement was had by him again.

I moved over to Whispered and cradled him, looking him over, his legs were broken, some ribs, an ear had started to be torn off, the five minutes or so of me screaming at him made the situation worse but the fact of the matter was, was that in that moment, cradling him, I realized how much I truly loved him, how much I didn't want to let another day go by without letting him know but I decided that it could wait, right now I needed help and so as I kissed his forehead I got up carefully and dragged him out, my leg hurt but it was best he and I got to safety. Once out of the cave I dragged him to a near by clearing I knew about and kissed him once more one the forehead and limped out of the clearing to get help. The rest, as they say, is history, we ended up healing in silence, all we did was just tell Sweet and Moonlit and anyone else who was asking, that I had ended up breaking my leg and Whispered had taken a holiday, visiting an aunt who was sick, it was easier then say we ended up being some creatures snack but it was whilst we were next to each other resting after being treated that I finally told him that I loved him" she said as she turned and faced him "I told him that there wasn't a day that went past that I didn't want to spend another day without him by my side" she said as she heard a quip from the back room "you never were away from him any way! You lot were stuck together like glue!" Aria giggled "alright, good point but still, he meant so much more to me and it took nearly being torn to shreds to actually do something about it.

Whispered, I love you so much, thank you for making me the happiest woman alive, thank you for being the best friend..." once again she was interrupted "one of your best friends!" Moonlit called out which just made Aria roll her eyes "one of my best friends" she said smiling at him "and I promise that the next time we decided to go cave exploring we will take a magic user with us and possibly an archer and a sword wielder just for good measure" she said as she giggled and sat down.

Whispered stood up next and smiled at the friends and family that were around "what can I say to that? I guess that whilst I can confirm this I also don't have much to say, I want to, like what Aria said, thank you guys for coming to help us celebrate this day and Aria" he said turning to her "thank you for making me a much better man, you mean the world to me and though it took me a little longer to realize how much I loved you thank you for waiting for me till I figured it out though can we promise each other something?" He asked as she nodded "when we have children can we make sure the godparents to them are not Sweet and Moonlit? We know what they are like, our children will end up being taught bad things" he said grinning at her "of course, I think those two would be best to just stay away from our children in every aspect" she said as two objections came from the audience "that isn't fair!" Sweet said as Moonlit chimed in after her "what she said! We are great role models!"

"I don't think we would go that far" Aria said as she laughed and saw her mate sit down "don't worry, you can still send them presents, we will allow that" Whispered joked as he ended up turning to his wife and smiled at her, taking her hoof in his and kissed her passionately.

As the day turned to night Jem had been singing different songs throughout the day but Aria was getting a little tired and so after her piece of wedding cake she whispered into her husbands ear "I know that Moonlit and Sweet has something for us but I don't want to be here anymore, can we sneak away and just spend the remainder of the night alone? We will see these guys later but I just want some time along with you" she said as Whispered nodded "sure, lets go" he said as he looked around, seeing no one hanging around and watching them they slipped away and started heading to the castle, deciding that they would spend the night there and then it was honeymoon time but right now, right at this moment, Aria could not be happier with how things turned out, she married her best friend, they had two others that will probably hate them for leaving without a word but meh, tonight was their night and she wanted to spend it with no one else.
