Jasmine smiled at the door, bowing politely to the headmaster of the grade school. "Good morning. You put up a job in the wizard guild about needing wizards to explain some aspects of magic?"
"Oh! Oh yes yes yes! Thank you. I hope this doesn't trouble your guild," The man said, making himself have no identifier between anxiousness and relief.
"No trouble at all. All the more seasoned wizards are out on other jobs, so I'm probably all that's left," She chuckled, seeming sweet and childish. Her bubbly personality was shown, and her manners primped for the client.
"Yes... well,... this way then." The headmaster lead her in, guiding her to a kindergarten class. "Class! We have a special guest today from our wizard guild, Raven Tail, to teach and talk about her magic." He waved for Jasmine to come in.
"Good morning," Jasmine greeted the little faces polite and with a cheerful smile. A nod was exchanged between her and the headmaster, and a polite silence as he left before the class room teacher stepped aside to allow Jasmine to have the center spot of attention. "My name is Jasmine Yarrow, and being named after flowers isn't a mistake or part of irony," She laughed, though most of their little faces didn't see the humor. "Like my father and my eldest siblings, I use green magic. It's a magic that relies on environment, so it really only works around living plants." She reached her hand to a vase of flowers, showing the lot to reach for her fingers. "I know it's not the most exciting on the surface--but Fiore is named for having lots of places filled with flowers. And if you can really master it..." She cast her spell, "Petrify!" The flowers wrapped together, the petals scattering before coming together to form a sword in Jasmine's hand.

Jasmine felt good after teaching the class. The little kids were all so full of aw that she felt compelled to take on another task similar to itself. "Who wants a story?" She cheered out, gaining the attention of a handful of children. "Okay, let's see... Who knows the story about the samurai toad?" Few of the kids raised up there hands--one in particular looked most anxious and enthusiastic about it. "It's one of my own favorites!" She giggled. "Now, the story is about a red panda named Maple, and a tree frog named Alvern. But it's also about another story inside the story about a commoner who sacrifices herself to protect the prince she loves--even though he married someone else. That story keeps coming up in the tale of Samurai Toad, so it's like having a story within a story!" She took out the book from her little bag.
"Now.. Book One, Green. Chapter one." Jasmine narrated the prologue, and gave each character a unique (as much as she possibly could) voice; from Princess Maple to Alvern's croaky voice, King giant Panda and the sheepish servants, and even gave a growling and grumbling voice to the terrible Tiger villain.

The story started off with Alvern's accidental entering Maple's room, the fight they have and the departing, and onto the garden scenes where Alvern tries to get Maple to fall in love with him to further tease her--but ends up falling for her instead! The games they play and onto the attack on the panda palace and Maple's kidnapping! The story went into how terribly beaten Alvern got from Tiger's henchmen and how he lost his memory and had only a samurai sword with him. As the tale bounce between Alvern's travel and the people he meets to try and restore his memory, Maple's imprisonment where she prays for Alvern to find her, and the segments of the second story... more children joined in to hear and others were in tears when they had to leave. They got to the best part! Right near the end of the book where Alvern and Maple meet again! Except... Maple doesn't recognize him, and Alvern doesn't remember her! Alvern goes to fight the evil tiger's snake servants when the book stops at a cliff hanger!
"And the next part of the story is in Book two! Red!" Jasmine smiled. "But to tell everyone the truth... Book two is just as exciting as book one! There's so many twists and unexpected things! I'm not even done with it myself and I already can't wait for the final book to come out! I heard a rumor that the author planned to call that one gold or steel. I just can't wait! I love the Samurai Toad books!" She bounced and wriggled more than any of the kids had. Actually, most of them crept up, inching and scooting up closer and closer as the story peaked. Their little jaws gaped open the whole time, and their eyes were wide, but none where at all pleased with the book's abrupt ending.

Jasmine hummed as she walked along the streets, taking a per-usual and all together (generally) simple job. After all the training just the other day, she decided to take today off from magical use. Or dam well try to! So today started with a morning reading to wide-eyes kids while their moms and dads went shopping or to go see that movie they couldn't have otherwise with their little precious with them. Besides, she was sure they would be eager if any of them were the same kids from a few days ago.
"Okay then! Who wants a story?" She asked in a cheerful tone, trying to be of comfort to both the kids and their parents. The kids would have to feel secure enough about being left behind with this perky stranger--even if she was a part of their local wizard guild. On the other side of the coin, the parent would have to feel secure enough to know their kids were looked after and wouldn't wonder off--not that they doubted a wizard's skill to protect them, even if they were or were not a part of any kind of guild, but there were a hand full of kids there. Thus, it was important to make a good and kind impression from the start.

Jasmine kept on her smile, "Okay, this story is a fun one--and one of my favorites!" She giggled, giddy with the anticipation of reading her story. "It's called Fear and Fearless, and it's about a girl from one country who travels far away to start her life over, but gets involved in a weird situation with a gangster family--the things they get into are hilarious! Really funny! And just when you think the two main characters are going to start falling in love, it teases you by going in a whole new direction. I really really want Uuza and Lynn to get together! Eeeeee!" She squeaked and squirmed before opening the book to start reading.
The story started off with the brothers Yakua (the younger) and Uuza (the older) and their distant relationship. Right from the start, Yakua is almost afraid of his brother and his tattoos--not to mention bleached hair, odd ear piercings, and smoking habit (despite being 16, and Yakua being 6). Yakua goes to a primary school where he gets bullied more and more and wonders how hopeless he is and how to change to be brave.
That all changes when a rival gang family starts to chase him through the streets and he runs into a foreign girl he describes as "taller, if not the same height as most grown men in the country". She has a poor grasp on words--probably due to being new to the language--and tries to spout on how it burns her up to see four grown men chasing down one poor little boy. From there, she pretty much just pounds at them and they pound back--but being taller, she holds out just long enough for Uuza to find them and join the fight to scare them off. Lynn goes on to introduce herself and explains that her ancestors were vikings, so she's thick boned and tough through genetics. Yakua invites her to have dinner with them and stay a while to let the whole thing cool off--expressing his concern that they might see her as a target and use more men to beat her. Lynn reluctantly agrees, and a whole uproar starts in the family about an outsider coming to stay with them. Under the circumstances, the grandfather judges the decision to bring her and says its okay. The rest of the story is basically Lynn playing the big sister roll for Yakua in the house or off to explore the country side on mini vacations while Uuza tags along to "look after them"; the interactions between Uuza and Lynn bring up cultural differences and personal issues that are moving--but mostly funny!

Jasmine stood there, gawking and twitching her eye brow involuntarily. They wanted her to wear what!? And do What!!?!? When she took the job to help raise support for the name of her guild, she knew about the dancing and the very long spans of time where she had to be smiling--and she was fine with that! What she didn't know about was the teeny tiny little costume they wanted her on stage with! They wanted her on stage, and dancing, in that!? At least there were private dress rehearsals... If she was gonna pop out in any way, it'd be there! In front of only a handful of people (also dressed in silly, tiny outfits).
But the dance rehearsals came and went quickly, talk of a magic show with Jasmine's control and manipulation of flora was made (though never truly escalated to much else that idle and passing talk). The idea of substituting fireworks for blooming and bursting flowers was passed, though it went unplanned by anyone--and probably for the better. The choice would either have been: take the chance of completely forgetting or mistiming the finally with flora effects while Jasmine was up on stage performing, having her off the stage entirely to keep time and execution (which would have defeated the purpose of the whole routine), or combining the two and risking a great fire hazard. None looked so well recieved. It was decided that the best course of action was the original plan. To just hold up the routine, represent Raven Tail in a good light, and smile.
But when the day came, after all the rehearsing (and the welcome that no other guild mate might be in the audience looking up at her--for they might as well have gotten up and performed along side her to properly make their presence in the guild known), the day finally came. On stage, beside the lead singer, the routine started; and Jasmine fell in line with the other dancers while working harder to keep a bright smile on her face for the guild's appearance.
