Tabes entered the hall to the guild that had taken him in. While he still prefered living out in nature, Tabes was very grateful for all this guild has done for him. They were the first humans he had ever come in contact with. They showed him how to interact with other people, and even more important to Tabes, they taught him to use magic. The magic he learned allowed him to communicate with his animal friends, making their bonds grow even more.
That thought always made him happy. Chirp! Shika, a Peregrine Falcon, his first familiar, his best friend, shared that happy feeling due to Tabes magic. The duo were always together. "Hmmm, so Shika, what do you think we should do today?" Tabes sat down in his usual spot in the corner of the guild hall, and looked around just taking it in.

After spending a little time taking in the guild, Tabes decided to do his regular past time, training with his familiars. Missions never really intrested him, the concept of money was a new one for him, and it didn't really spark his interest. While he very much enjoyed adventure, the thing that brought him the most joy, was spending time with the animals. It's what he grew up with, and it helped him still feel at home. The situation for him has changed, but he still enjoyed what was for him, the "simple things"
"So Shika, lets head to the training grounds, lets see what you can do!" Shika gave a happy chirp as Tabes stood up and began to walk outside. He began to think of different training exercises he could do. Part of the reason Tabes enjoyed training so much is that he didn't just rely on his familiers, he enjoyed, joining in with his partners. It gave him a sense of purose, it made him feel like he was one with his friends.
