•☆;Ⓐnnabelle smiled casually, sipping her hot-sugar tea, overlapping the brown liquor with a creamy filling of milk. Erupted by the silence, Annabelle had taken five minutes to scan the papers which she was given regarding her new Ace, Yui. Swirling her spoon, causing the mixture to blend evenly, Annabelle sighed. Nothing much had occured to her that day, except for the minor fact there was very much work to be done regarding the guild itself. Spooning in a mouthful of her tea into her fairly large lips, Anna pin pricked her shirt, noticing the door slightly ajar. Titling her head to a side, Anna analysed her surroundings. Where on earth was Yui? Her top ace and possibly top athlete was a strange one at times, not that Anna cared. Yui would most likely end up doing more work compared to Anna. Caressing her plush pink locks, Annabelle lifted her feet so it was higher as she sat on her throne. Princess, perhaps. Annabelle certainly had the enjoyment of running Mermaid Heel.
Resting her head on a soft pillow, Annabelle flickered her eyes over to a figure, tripping over the bent wires, Anna fell flat onto the ground. Raising her head to the darkness, the guild hall had seemed rather empty, no footsteps, no sounds, it seemed like it was elapsing in darkness, just before Anna could mutter a single sound, she head the cold whispers. It seemed rather chilly, lonely almost. Annabelle lifted her body until she was sitting, knees bent and laid to a side, indicating she had either fallen down or had just laid down, almost about to sleep. Raising her head, Annabelle looked at the empty void;❝Yui? Yui is that you?❞Annabelle asked, unsure if she had heard the cold sweat drip from her forehead. Now was not a time to fight, much rather to Annabelle's content she was much more happier training and becoming a much stronger character, although Annabelle had done several things which had rendered her vulnerable, one of them being was becoming a guild master in total, although Mermaid Heel was not a large guild and had only one member in total so far. Assuming this was a test of might, Annabelle was prepared to fight if required. Without no concept there was a threat around, Anna sighed, noticing a mere kitten join the crowd. Leaving the guild at once, Anna set to train, if she was to encounter an enemy, she would hear it even a millennia away.

•☆;Ⓐnnabelle arrived at the scene, unsure whether she was going to pull her weight, doing so would mean leaving the guild unattended, as it was not confirmed if Yui was present or not. Moreover, the master was not informed if the guild was to have company at all, whether it be opposing threats or guests, requesting alliance. Due to being given the time, the master persuaded herself that if she was to not stray too far, the female would be considered fine. If she was to encounter company, the master would most likely be informed in one way or another during the mission. Crafting a handful of mumbled words, Anna finally relaxed;❝I better start pulling my weight around here and the first thing I need to do is earn some jewels to provide for the guild, otherwise we may fall into debt❞she smiled, raising her hand to grab a fairly large pile of missions, the first to attend was the one located at the train station, as it would only take a very short amount of time, more over, it would only take before Anna would have to prepare for a drastic situation that would change many lives.

It's not about the blade... xX____D-E-A-T-H____Xx Having to finally arrive back to the Guild Hall after a nice meal and a stroll outside of town, she decided to take a rest around the Guild Hall before she actually proceed on her missions once more. She walked into the guild hall, as always, it seemed so silent. She sighed, was she always the only member in the Guild? She couldn't recall, she was out most of the time. Her steps echoed throughout the empty and silent hall, no one was around, clearly, not even her Master, Annabelle. She didn't mind of her absence, but it wouldn't hurt to have some company. Making her way to her favorite bench by the counter, she took a seat and placed her large nodachi, the Ulfberht, beside her. She was not tired, but rather, she was bored. She sighed after a few minutes of silence, she knew no one was around. Leaning back on the bench, she closed her eyes, and decided to let time pass as it should.

Reading... That's what she did most days. Amber Glory, the name that was given to her by her savior at the guild, hardly left the guild's walls. Because men were outside the wall, and that day never left her mind. So she occupied time with books. The few times she had left... Well, she sort of erupted into some new devil; she couldn't contain her emotions quite yet, and they would sometimes manifest into tangible forms. She had just recently finished "A Wrinkle In Time" and moved into "Kidnapped". The stories felt relatable: abandonment, betrayal, suffering... Yet, the characters had the will to live on and persist. It was curious how they dealt with it. And one of her favorite characters was Sara Crew in the "Little Princess" story. The poor girl had been left and forgotten after her father died, made to live under the house of an abusive care taker with only one real friend in the world. At the end of the tale, she's rescued and her wealth restored. Sometimes, Amber would imagine the same could happen to her--that all the horror in her life to melt away and be erased. Next on her list were "The Chronicles of Narnia", and several books by Hans Christian Anderson.
