Samael glanced back toward Catsanova, listening to him speak as they both headed toward the Library. It was probably good that he didn't seem to know what he had been talking about, but even he had weaknesses. Of course he had heard that a sky dragon slayer has a way to help with that weakness. Either way, he'd keep that part to himself and only bring it up in the case of travelling. "Don't worry too much, it's not like it'll hurt you... you think I could be that cruel?" The guild master said as he continued to walk while turning back finally. Cat spoke more about his spells and not knowing why they needed to train. True, the Exceed probably know quite a few powerful spells, but there was always more to learn. "I'm sure we can find you something new to learn, even if you know a lot of spells, you don't know everything, not even I know everything about being a shadow dragon slayer. It's not like I only hide in the shadows after all, but that does help." He couldn't help, but chuckle as they had finally made it to the Library.
Reaching forward, he swung the door open as wide as it could, this was to let Cat follow him in, but he wasn't about to admit something like that. As he stepped into the large two story library, he glanced toward the main desk where the yet to be created Librarian worked. To the left was a set of stairs leading up to the second floor. Samael knew where the dragon slayer books were and so headed to the back of the library. Once he got to the right section, his eyes shifted upward toward Catsanova. "There should be some books for you around here. I don't know where exactly, so you're on your own." He said with a grin before browsing the shelves with his eyes. There were quite a few he had read before, but one seemed to stand out from the other. Samael tilted his head slightly and took the book from it's resting place. The title caused his eyes to open a bit wider as a smale grin showed on his face. The title said, "The Origin of Dragon Slaying." Slowly he opened it and started to read from the start, perhaps he'd find something fun that both of them could learn. That was the plan at least.
"Eh?" Cat looked more quizzical than any other kitten in all Fiore. "But I already told ya boss," He said with a confused raised brow. "I mastered all the advanced sky dragon spells. And ain't much to being an exceed either. Less than five spells! Really, at the very base of our power, there's not all that much..." An awkward sound came from his mouth, in place of laughter probably. "Except for possible unison raids, what else is there to learn?" Unison raids he had always wanted with his guild-mate idol (now master).
Samael looked down at the book in his hands and was reading for anything important. This book was quite interesting, even if it was talking about Dragon Slayer magic in general. For the most part, he was ignoring Catsanova. As the guild master read more, he stumbled across something interesting. His eyes looked toward the Exceed as he listened to the last few things he said. "Heh, well it seems there is something that I know you wouldn't know about." He said with a chuckle as Samael decided to at least answer the cat. His idea of a Unison Raid was kind of intriguing, and maybe the little guy would be less annoying if he gave in. "That is an interesting idea, maybe we can discuss it further at another time." With that said, the male moved a little closer to Catsanova before turning the book for him to see. "First though, lets get stronger with this, Dragon Force. It describes the steps of how to get it and claims that every Dragon Slayer can achieve it. If we're going to stay ahead of the other guilds, we need this power. It increases the power of all our Dragon Slayer spells." The book was pretty straightforward and if Cats read it, he'd see the following about the spell.
Spell Name: Dragon Force Rank: B Description: When a Dragon Slayer enters Dragon Force, they effectively turn into a humanoid Dragon, gaining reptilian scales and traits, such as further elongated, and sharper, canines and scale-like patterns on their skin. Dragon Force greatly increases the damage done by standard Dragon Slayer spells, and grants the user access to more advanced, powerful attacks. It also drastically enhances the user's physical prowess, making them far stronger, more resistant to damage, and faster, and considerably boosts their Magic Power, which becomes visible, taking the appearance of a Dragon. When exuded at its fullest, said Magic Power takes on a violent corporeality, likely as a result of the immense amount of Magic power employed. For First Generation Dragon Slayers, those who have been taught their Magic by a real Dragon, certain conditions must be met in order to enter Dragon Force: the only one known so far would be to eat substances with powerful Magical properties, preferably those somehow related to the element they can control and consume; while other, unrelated substances can be eaten as well, these have been described as being similar to "poison" for the user, causing heavy after effects, such as pain on activation and extreme exhaustion after use.
