So! I'm starting a B/C shop called Chs Hymmnos Mea. It's based off the Ar Tonelico series of games. For those who don't know, B/C stands for Breedable/Changing, and most shops of this type are in the Breedable/Changing Pets subforum. In the B/C, you buy "pets" that you can show off in your sig or what-have-you. (By the way, in case you're wondering: the B/C has been relatively untouched by inflation, so for my shop each stage is 1 mil gold- though I'm going to run some events where pets are given out for free.) The pets generally grow over time, but you have some shops where RP is required to make your pets grow or change art styles. My shop is one such shop. RP is not required to keep your pets, but it is required to advance them to the next stage.

Now, about Ar Tonelico. It's very difficult to sum up, but the main draws of the series are the music, the sheer amount of detail put into its universe (some of its made up science is absolutely crazy), and the language constructed for it: Hymmnos. The series chiefly focuses on beings called Reyvateils, girls capable of using magic through singing, and the Vanguards that protect them. The three games in the series have the characters working towards regenerating their nearly-destroyed planet, and at the end of Ar Tonelico III, they successfully do so.

As for the shop itself, it takes place 100 years after the world's regeneration, on and around the tower people lived in before the world was saved. There are two types of characters: Reyvateils (female only, capable of singing Song Magic) and Vanguards (male or female, use weapons and no magic). You'll need to fill out a profile and get it approved (and, if your pet has no art yet, get that art through customs or contests) before you can play your character.
