The one problem is that I can't give you a larvesta that knows giga drain as that is a transfer only move; aside from that, I agree with pretty much everything archolite said.
I do have the Larvitar (max IVs in everything but speed), Bulbasaur (max IV in everything but attack and speed, knows giga drain and has chlorophyll), Larvesta (max IVs in everything but Sp Def), and an Eevee (timid, knows wish, max IV in everything but attack).
I tried for sp def on the larvesta and for speed on the bulbasaur, but after many batches of eggs I was unable to do so and I'm moving on to my other projects. I'm still at work, but I'll be home in a few hours and I'm free to trade for the rest of the night after that.
Awesome. And yeah. If Giga is a transfer move on Larvesta, that would make it harder to IV breed a little. (Especially since I don't have previous gen games anymore, myself.)
And do not even worry about it. If I want those IVs, I can breed some more. You absolutely would be putting me 10,000 steps ahead of all the breeding I would've had to do. (Not to mention I'd have to trade for some of these Pokes already. @_____@")
I'd also apparently been catching and marking FS Gyarados in order to breed a Horsea eventually, apparently.
Thanks so much~ And I'll probably do a few random battles to get the hang of it before I start challenging people on a personal basis. /nod
But I'll likely take you up on that, KingJilly.

Also contemplating trying to get a Leftovers on Volcarona, as well. Since it's going for a more lasting set up. Also considered Assurance on Donphan in place of Roar, but I would like at least /one/ PHazer on my team. And I started out with fifty hundred, but now it's just him. (I do still have the option of Dragon Tail on Gyarados, but he's choice banded.)

That's how I run my Volcarona, but the entire team that I have it on is bulky attackers. Life orb is still very legit
If you give me your friend code, I can do the trade whenever you want

That's pretty much the route I was thinking for TTar, good to know on a couple of those points and I'll lock it in.
With Volca', you'd go Giga instead of Roost, though? Considering it. Less recovery but it hits, too. (I actually nerfed Whirlwind. See: First post edit.)
And oh, really? Hm. Interesting. Also if I invest in HP and do end up running Roost over Giga, that'd be a plus there. I'll give Timid HP/Def/Spd a try, yeah. 'Cause Aqua Jet would be a problem, yeah. If Azu pops up, I'd maybe try and switch to Venu, dunno. (Again, going to have to play around with how things actually turn out in battles.)
Yeah. In the first post, I replaced Umbreon for Dual Screens Magic Bounce Espeon. But I do get the Defog deal. Hm. And yeah. With another EQ on my team, RS would be the only reason I'd send Donphan back out unless I didn't feel there was a threat / sort of needed to. (Or if their SR user was down. Still risky, though.)
And appreciate it~
Oh okay, I was looking at the wrong list after all. And yeah, it's generally better to switch out for Azumarill, but if they switch in late for whatever reason, you could beat it with Giga Drain. And generally speaking, Roost is the overall superior option. Giga Drain is just there for specific Pokemon if your team needs it. But you have Venusaur, so you don't need it. Go with Roost, for sure.
@Espeon, that seems like the better choice over Umbreon. Just be wary of Pursuit users. Tyranitar and Scizor will most likely switch in on Espeon every chance they get. So be prepared for some pro double switches predicting them to come it. Reflect also might be the better option overall. It lets you take a Pursuit.
Choice Band Pursuit Scizor vs 252/0 Espeon without switch: 97 - 114.3% Choice Band Pursuit Scizor vs 252/0 Espeon with switch, with Reflect: 64.3 - 76% Choice Band Pursuit Tyranitar vs 252/0 Espeon with switch, with Reflect: 99.1 - 116.7%
Fortunately, most people these days aren't using Choice Band Tyranitar. Reflect guarantees anything weaker than CB Scizor's Pursuit will not OHKO. But these 2 will be the worst match-ups for Espeon, proving how potent Reflect truly is. But like I mentioned above. Many times you could switch Espeon in to bounce Rocks/etc. back, then predict the incoming T-Tar/Scizor and respond accordingly.

Yeah, pursuit users are the main reason why many Espeons run Baton Pass even without any boosts to pass, because it lets you switch without getting hit by Pursuit. You will get a lot of Tyranitars switched in on Espeon. I messed around with a couple of builds with my espeon, so I don't have Baton Pass anymore. Side rant, I hate pre-evolution only moves, and I don't see good reason why you shouldn't be able to relearn those moves using the heart scale move tutor.
Archolite demonstrates the importance of prediction when running Espeon, especially if you don't end up running baton pass. If you can predict their switch with your own, then you can gain a lot of momentum.

Liking the team I have been using, but I'd like a little more versatility with it. I like Volcarona, if only because it's one of my favorite Pokemon. I on the inverse am not really ever using Donphan. Just wanting more options team-wise.
So far, the team I've compiled is:
Volcarona: Special Sweep
Leftovers// Flame Body // Timid
72 HP / 252 Sp. Att / 184 Spd
Giga Drain Quiver Dance Bug Buzz Fire Blast
Notes: Obvious set. Loving Volcarona so far~ Trying different [recommended] EVs. Thoughts?
Espeon: Dual Screener
Light Clay // Magic Bounce // Timid
252 HP / 252 Spd / 4 Def
Dazzling Gleam Psyshock Protect Light Screen
Notes: Dual Screen set up and Magic Bounce awesomeness. Liking this 'mon as-is. Totally.
Crobat: Defog Support
Black Sludge // Infliltrator // Jolly
248 HP / 48 Def / 212 Spd
Brave Bird Defog Roost U-Turn
Notes: My hazard removal. I like Crobat's design over Mandibuzz a bit. It's defenses aren't as good, but Brave Bird can hit hard and Roost + Black Sludge would provide at least a bit of longevity, neh?
Sort of unsure how to finish this up. I look and see the synergy of a steel and/or dragon type with the team. So I was thinking Mega-Medicham or Mega-Mawile and Kingdra. Also thought of Snorlax to help with the ghost-typing. Or some better normal type. Not Mega-Kangaskhan. I hate Mega-Kangaskhan. A Pokemon I had thought of trying to fit before at some point was Sableye with Will o Wisp. Also considered Mega-Scizor. And Rhyperior. And Garchomp. Ha.

Did some more synergizing.
So far, the team I've compiled is:
Volcarona: Special Sweeper
Leftovers// Flame Body // Timid
72 HP / 252 Sp. Att / 184 Spd
Giga Drain Quiver Dance Bug Buzz Fire Blast
Notes: Obvious set. Loving Volcarona so far~ Trying different [recommended] EVs. Thoughts?
Espeon: Dual Screener
Light Clay // Magic Bounce // Timid
252 HP / 252 Spd / 4 Def
Dazzling Gleam Psyshock Protect Light Screen
Notes: Dual Screen set up and Magic Bounce awesomeness. Liking this 'mon as-is. Totally.
Kingdra: Special Sweeper
Scope Lense // Sniper // Modest
252 Sp. Att / 4 HP / 252 Spd
Scald Agility Ice Beam Dragon Pulse
Notes: Very different from what I see from most Kindgra recommended sets. Want to see/know how good Sniper+Scope Lens is. I know Focus Energy would be good, but would it be better over Agility? Also would Surf be better over Scald? Like, would the burn chance be better than the upped power? Unsure a bit on this mon, but looks interesting.
Tyranitar: Physical Sweeper
Choice Scarf // Sand Storm // Jolly
252 Att / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Stone Edge Earthquake Crunch Superpower
Notes: Honestly trying something different here with this Tyranitar. It's set is pretty known and I don't pursuit trap that much. Maybe I should? I wish it got Knock Off as a surprise, but eh. Should I really stick with Pursuit over EQ or neh? It would force me to switch, as well, I would think.
Scizor: Defog Mega
Scizorite // Technician // Impish
248 HP / 48 Def / 212 Spd
Bullet Punch Defog Roost U-Turn
Notes: My hazard removal now. Mega Scizor isn't as cool looking as Scizor, but eh. Ha. It's more hardy. Defog-guy here.
Just really need help with a last mon. A physical sweeper is what I'm seeing the need for probably running Choice Band or Assault Vest. Also considered Slowbro in leiu of Kingdra.
Current team balances out to still 1 weakness to rock and ground. I don't have a: Flying, Poison, Ghost or Electric offensive move on the team.
