Hi Everyone, my sister made a guide for Runescape Authicator....for those whom don't have 'smart' phones....
((im also putting in someone else's...in case if you don't want to hear my twin's rambling, this person I know as well.))
Runescape Authincator is replacing JAG, since Jagex says they are having problems with it and hackers trying to get around it.

If you do have a smart phone, in which, I do...but sis and I were confused about the authicator at all. I can try to lead you thru it.
Most of what my sister (and my friend) said is still right, but instead of clicking 'code wont scan', you will need to download to your smart phone, either from the Google Play Store or Windows Store....I know there is another but I cant remember off the top of my head.
Once you download it, you will need to hit 'scan barcode', if you do not have a scanner app, you will be prompted to download one from your respected App stores. There are many free ones out there, I am using 'barcode scanner' from the google play store.
Once you download that and scan the barcode, you will get a set of 6 numbers that you have aprox 30-60 seconds (I dunno how long it is, I haven't timed it.) to type the code into the bottom of the runescape webpage, or in game after the code is already put in the first time.
This will secure your runescape account even further.
I, and everyone else, suggests that you click 'don't ask me again for 30 days', this will save you the aggravation of needing a new code every time you log on. You will, however, need a new code every 30 days.
For those who wish to use the way without a smart phone, here is the link to WINAUTH. I suggest you download the 3.0 version and bookmark it to your computer, as you will need it every 30 days. This doesn't save to your computer, so when you close it out, you will have to re-download it.
