Kyrie smiled and looked to the pile of books her aunt had been scanning through.
"I hope sooner rather than later as well," she nodded and shifted forward in her seat to reach out for the nearest book. "How were you searching for a place to go? Maybe I can help you find a suitable place to find spirit warriors," she offered and flipped the book open. "Maybe if we looked for a legend? Aren't those usually rooted in truth somewhere?"

The goddess laughed a little at her niece's suggestion.
"A legend is rooted in the past. I do not want the past." She explained. That would be no good to her, her old army would have been destroyed and any legendary warriors would likely be too. Besides she wanted something fresh, new.
"These books contain listings of worlds, many worlds that existed, some may have been destroyed by now, but it's a start. I am looking for war-like societies, I need a leader, a seasoned warrior, strong and capable of keeping others like them under control. As you might imagine it can be difficult with a group of warriors who all think they are the best."

Kyrie laughed and shook her head.
"No. I can't imagine that would be easy at all. They'll have to earn their respect and be strong willed. Are you thinking that you will round up your army first and then choose your leader among them? Or are you looking for your leader first so that they can help you choose your army?" she asked, tracing a dark finger down the index of the book she had opened. "Or I suppose either way could work. If not a legend to help us, then maybe a rumor?" she suggested, not realizing that she had very much attached herself to her aunt's endeavor.

"Hmm, this is a good question." Val mused, she supposed either would work well. "I would quite like to find a leader first, but perhaps choosing an army and working out the best leader from the group would be a sensible idea." She turned to face Kyrie again. "Have you heard any rumours?"

Kyrie paused in her scanning through the book and looked off across her mother's library. Had she heard of any rumors? She could only think of stories her mother and father had told her, and her aunt had made it clear that she didn't want to look backwards.
"No, but a good place to maybe hear some would be out among the people. Maybe at a gathering spot like a teahouse or somewhere where food is served? No, better yet, where alcohol is served. Mortals seem to talk a lot more when they have been drinking," she smirked and glanced to her aunt.

Val laughed at that.
"You have a keen eye Kyrie, and you are right of course. Mortals are very loose tongued when they have had a drink." Perhaps that was what she was doing wrong? She had never been a very bookish deity. "Why don't we go to one of these watering holes and see what we can pick up?"

Kyrie smiled broadly and puffed her feathers as she closed the book gently.
"Yes! There's a really good one right in the heart of the marketplace. I've seen beings from all over going in there. It would be a perfect place to start," she declared as she pushed herself up to her feet with a tinkling of jewelry.
