Team purple won the first day by a mile.
A lot of people are raging over the purple team's "advantage".
Team red is currently fighting back hard, slowly catching up with the purple team so far today. Just a little more than 7000 points behind as I post this.
I may not be on the winning team, but this is a bit amusing.

What do you guys think of it all?

Well... After team purple got beaten by team red in a (mostly) close battle on day 2; I guess people have mostly gone into a "give every one day of victory" mood. Pink get it today; blue get it tomorrow.
The day 2 battle seems like an expensive day for a lot of guys, (partly) since there was an one hour period where team red got more than 25000 points stolen. That should be at least $1,500 worth of items used within that hour to only steal from team red; assuming it cost $60+ per 1000 points stolen.

I expect it to be an actual competition again from day 6 and onwards. Save your items, and use them (or sell them) from that point onwards.
