Shana  "A Heartbeat that lasts for eternity. Lives consumed in soundless balls of fire. No one can tell when the world is displaced and the Flames of the Crimson World sweep over all." Murder doesn’t necessarily mean evil, right? FULL NAME: Shana
ALIAS : On her official record within Gehenna, Shana is known throughout the land as Flame Haze. It’s her title as well as code name as a commanding officer within Iblis’ army. The name Flame Haze is simply called as the “Hunters” or as most demons cynically call those with the title of Flame Haze, “Tools of Destruction” or “Same-Race Killers”. Shana took on the title as Flame Haze on her own volition, while most people whom are given the title, take it up because they wish for revenge or had something taken away from them. It’s an ancient name; that comes from the Iblis Faction. Most Fire Apparitions avoids using such words in civilized conversation, but Shana doesn’t care about the name she has been given. She sees it only as an attachment to her physical body, and not herself. One of the names that travels with Shana where ever she goes is the Flame-Haired Burning-Eyed Hunter, she’s known throughout Gehenna and even in Assiah by this name. She’s called this due to her hair and eye color being that of fire, while others claim it’s the color of blood rather than fire. Some rumors have it that her eyes and hair were once brown or another color but after slaying over a thousand demons in the name of Iblis her eyes and hair burned the very color of the fire within her soul.
NICKNAMES: Shana doesn’t have any normal nicknames that she goes by, everyone just calls her Shana or by one of her titles. She really despises people whom try and treat her like a child do to her appearance and age, and by giving her cute nicknames, it only makes her more annoyed with that individual.

ORIGIN OF BIRTH: The Kingdom of Iblis within Iblis’ Castle in Gehenna
OCCUPATION: Within Gehenna, Shana’s one and only Occupation is being that of a Flame Haze, one of the four commanding officers of Iblis’ army. She’s the Commander of the Northern Army which stands for Iblis’ capture and assassination task force. Shana doesn’t get involved in issues within Assiah and refuse to appear as one of the humans thus she does not bow down to the societal rules and refuse to fit in and doesn’t hold an occupation within their world. To most people she appears to be a young girl about the age of twelve walking around alone.
HUMAN POSSESSION APPEARANCE: Shana refuses to fit in within the human world and does not possess humans in order to fit into their world. Due to the fact she’s an apparition she feels her body is more than capable of fitting in to their society as long as she hides her wings and her tail among other things.
PARTIAL DEMON APPEARANCE: Shana is a young looking girl, with long burning red hair and eyes. She has what most point out to be an antenna hair style, which sticks out on top of her head and characteristics that would make her Moe. She also has dark brown irises and a fair complexion. Due to being a Phoenix Demon, Shana’s physical age will remain that of a girl of that appears to be between the ages of nine and thirteen years of age. With her features the title, Flame Haze become apparent. As her long fiery crimson hair flows with embers fluttering from her head down. These embers however is just her demonic aura flowing freely from her body, each ember is potentially capable of burning anything they touch, although normally she’s only reveals these embers when she’s angry or preparing to attack. Normally she keeps her aura hidden so enemies won’t run in fear of her before she kills them. She stands to be about 141 cm tall. Typically Shana wears all black attire consisting of a shirt, pants and her treasured tool from her father which she calls Yogasa (Night Cap), it takes on the form of a black trench coat that flows like a cape or cloak. Shana also wears a pendant constantly which she claims is what holds back her true demonic powers and binds her into her partial form apparition form, causing her to lose her wings; Shena is never seen without this pendant as it was a gift from her father. However, when she is conducting business within Assiah during the middle of the day she tends to try and fit in slightly by wearing a middle school’s girl school uniform and doesn’t wear the Yogasa, unless she’s ready for combat.
TRUE DEMON APPEARANCE: Within her true demonic form not much changes about Shana. Her ears become long and pointed and her fangs are sharper just like most demons, as well as the fact her fingernails grow a little more and become sharp as individual blades. Shana’s tail also appears which is long and covered in burning feathers of red, yellow, and green flames. Two mighty orange and red colored wings of pure flame sprout from her back. Embers continue to fall from her body just as it does within her partial form. Although within this form she doesn’t stop them from burning everything they touch or appearing. DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: The Flame Haze’s most distinguishing features would be her burning red hair and eyes, as well as her pendant she carries around her neck at all times. If one didn’t recognize Shana from her hair and eyes or the dark pendant she carries around her neck, then the pitch black coat she wears typically is another major identifier. While hidden under all the fire is the cute and adorable appearance of a young girl, which usually reminds people who she is. Shana normally explains to people why they get burned by fire before she kills them using herself in the explanation: “Fire may be beautiful and graceful, but it’s dangerous and vicious, just like me.” Shana’s personality makes her frightful and intimidating, due to the fact it comes from such a small body, and just like a flame she burns more with a single spark than a large blaze that’s stationary.

Swordsmanship
While a great deal of Shana’s physical training included swordsmanship, owning to the lineage’s tendency on developing body and mind simultaneously. She is trained in a wide variety of styles, but particularly in the classical styles. Shana prefers Japanese swords over European designed swords, as she once met a warrior in her youth that was said to be unbeatable as long as he wielded his blade and wanted to face the strongest demon within her village. Shana accepted the challenge while she was nowhere near the strongest, and lost miserable. From that forward she believed that a Japanese sword was the blade for her as it would never falter or break under normal conditions. Regardless of the sword, though, Shana is a deadly combatant, skilled in both defense and offense. She typically is a very straight forward swordswoman, utilizing swift and powerful strikes, in order to destroy her opponent before they can destroy her.
Tracking
While most demons are able to track humans and other demons by their aura and scent, Shana specializes in tracking their body heat through a multiple different types of Qi manipulation. Due to her methods in tracking her targets, she has never missed someone she’s been order to kill and she’s never lost a target in the dark. While one can hide their presence and seal off their heart beat, it was almost impossible to remove their body heat, unless they want to kill themselves. Not many fire apparitions are able to use this skill, but if they could, it would make them the number one reigning demons within Gehenna.

Shana is staunchly loyal, firm, and unbending in her beliefs. She is a hard worker and takes a strong moral stance, she particularly believes in following orders. She is generally reserved and truly not arrogant in any manner like most demons she works with, though she is not above mocking or joking around with her opponents or smirking while in combat. She will not hesitate in the slightest to strike down even her own subordinates, including her second in command, believing that personal struggle builds character. Shana likes meat, but dislikes fish. She also seems to be quite obsessed with Melon Bread and other sweets from the human world, and often spends her free time dreaming about being in a world of sweets or eating sweets. Shana seems to be obsessed with Melon Bread to the point that it is one of the few things that makes her internally happy outside of combat.
Shana is a person of incredible resolve, not hesitating to do whatever it takes to complete a mission and defeat her enemy. Very rarely will Shana show signs of desperation or emotion on the battlefield, except when it concerns her master Iblis or his children whom she’s sworn to protect at the cost of her own life. Despite her cold demeanor and constant attacks towards others, she has displayed a certain level of faith in her underlings. Her stubborn attitude is so great that even now she still seems to hold a degree of dislike for her parents and even other demons whom have left the side of Gehenna to join the Exorcist or protect Assiha. LIKES: Shana really only cares for two things in the world, melon bread and the thrill of combat. Other than these two things, she doesn’t really care for anything else in the world, and looks at the world as either being a flame or a torch. Those whom are flames burn brightly while torches burn out when it’s their time to die. Shana’s obsession with sweets, especially melon bread is her main concern over her lust for blood and chaos.
DISLIKES: In terms of things Shana dislikes, she has many things she dislikes, one of them being people whom talk too much. She believe in silence as being the key to living a peaceful and happy life and when others violate that sense of happiness she normally tells them to shut up, if not once but multiple times in a row. Shana also has a strong dislike for demons whom deserted Gehenna and decided to become a member within the world of Assiah and have taken up their swords in the name of the Exorcist to find a false sense of peace; for this Shana has vowed to hunt down every demon that has joined the forces of Assiah and will slay them if they refuse to return to Gehenna. For the most part this hatred is towards only those whom are kin to her through the blood of Iblis, but she will freely slay any other demon she comes across if they shall cross her path while in Assiah if she even suspects them to be helping her enemy. Shana also holds a strong dislikes towards anyone King Iblis doesn’t like. As she stands as a general in his army, she is close to the King of Fire as if he was a second father towards her, and finds anyone he doesn’t like as someone she doesn’t like and will remove them from this world in order to please her master.
HOBBIES: Shana only has a single hobby, which is to eat melon bread and as many sweets as she can whenever she sees them. Her obsession with melon bread has gotten her in trouble a few times within the human world, where she had even drew a sword on a baker and demanded he gave her the melon bread without having to pay for it.

BASE OF OPERATIONS: Castle of Iblis
MY HISTORY: Shana was born from the forbidden union of a Phoenix Demon and a Fiend, which eventually brought her to her fate of being known as a Tool of Destruction. Those whom are born of a demon of yin and yang gain this title, as they will never have another purpose in life other than to take the lives of others. Before Shana had fully hatched from her egg her mother was captured and killed before her newborn eyes. As a Tool of Destruction, Shana trained intensely in order to become as strong as the King of Fire himself, in order to become as strong as her father, the person she had come to adore these few beginning years of her life. Several hundred years later, her efforts finally paid off when her father had recommended her to become a part of Iblis’ personal army. Initially, Shana’s different personality seemed to clash with the other demons within the army, then there was the factor of her age, however Shana dedicated her life to her master, happy to put her life on the line for him and his cause. In turn, Iblis took Shana under his wing as his very own protégée and eventually had her train with her personal guard. Shana developed a close relationship with the members of the guard as student and mentors.
Over 120 years later, Shana in her capacity as a head of the guard was highly protective of Iblis as well as his honor. She had a short temper when it came to any who dared oppose him. Eventually the news of her father’s death came to her and Shana declared that she would slay the one whom dared to tame the one creature whom took her father from her. It was then she was given the blade Enraiha that held the soul of Alastor, a fiend that she knew very from stories her father use to tell her when she was still very young. She hated the demon that was sealed within the weapon that Lord Iblis had entrusted to her, but as far as she was concerned, she was watching the demon within the weapon and was his warden.
Over the next few years, Alastor and Shana became close, almost like father and daughter, Alastor even spoke to her about her mother and how he knew of her birth before she was even born. Shana knew from that moment that accepting the offer to become a Flame Haze and welcoming Alastor on her own free will, she had made the right choice, for the path she was on was her own. While she protected Alastor from other demons and humans he protected her as well. Both grew in strength and trust, as blade and master.
RELATIVES:
Mother: Mathilde; Shana’s mother, whom is a Phoenix Demon just like Shana, although after having Shana, she was captured by an Exorcist and was killed for her healing feathers. Shana never had a chance to get to know her, and doesn’t really understand the bound most demons or humans have for their mothers.
Father: Merihim; Shana’s father, a fiend whom once had the honor of serving under the great demon Alastor and Innocentius, but, he was slain by the hands of Innocentius and devoured by his once fiend brother during an event seven years ago, when an Exorcist had come to capture and slay Innocentius. Merihim attempted to protect Innocentius but ended up being slain by the demon. Shana didn’t find out about the death of her father and the betrayal of Innocentius until a year after her promotion to Commander of the Northern Army of Iblis.
MY GOALS: As a Flame Haze, Shana’s only goal is to hunt down those who deserted Gehenna and slay them or bring them back in order to face the penalty of their betrayal, which is normally death, which is why Shana normally proposes a swift death rather than an embarrassing one.
