~(*:.The Rokr Clan.:*)~ Nearly twenty years past, the Selas and Skotos were mortal enemies, primarily because each had the power over the other's weakness. Finally, tired of the continuos outbreaks, each sent their best assassin to..take care of...the heir of the enemy group. Though neither group realized it until later, the best assassin of each group was the heir. After the first attempt the two assassins met in battle, the prince of the Selas, and the princess of the Skotos. Because both were the best, their fight ended in a stalemate. As in the tradition of defeat, both removed their masks. It was then that they fell in love, and formed a plan.
Instead of presenting their idea and love to the council leaders of each group, where it was sure to be rejected, the two recruited many of the younger Selas and Skotos to their cause. In fact, pretty much everyone but the elders joined the new clan. This did nothing to ease the bitterness felt by the elders of both clans. A little less than a year later, Risq was born; a few months later, her mother died. But, much to the elder's disappointment, the new clan didn't fall apart, instead growing stronger. The elders waited sixteen years. On the eve of Risq's sixteenth birthday, a assassin, trained in the ways of arcane magic, was sent to kill both Risq and her father. Being well trained, Risq, despite her handicap was able to defeat the assassin...though not until after he'd already killed her father. Risq took over the clan that very night, her first act being to banish the elders to the mountains. They didn't survive the trip there, but that was none of Risq's doing.
That was three years ago. Since then the can has flourished, expanding to include the Drievos and Rangers. Due to the new inclusions, the fighting has changed. Now, instead of mostly assassin-like attacks, the clan has combined several forms to achieve what they now practice. Assassins have been all but forgotten, instead making the way for new warriors, and a sort of militia. The Rokr clan is looking for traits found in assassins and warriors alike. The ability to attack and slide back into the shadows is valued highly. Qualities searched for are loyalty, intelligence, and stealth. All clan members are expected to know at least basic fist fighting, and be well trained in at least one weapon. This is because both the Selas and Skotos powers manifest themselves at night; it is necessary for the daytime when their power is weakened.

~(*The Races Permitted in the Clan*)~
The Skotos, also known as the Shade Elves Elf-like in appearance, these beings can manipulate the shadows. With it they can form shields and some sharp weapons, but it's mostly used as strangulation or blunted weapon type power. On weaker minded subjects, it can cause insanity. Teleportation can be achieved by a strong individual, but Half-bloods usually can't. The Skotos's power is strongest under a shining moon, but daylight doesn't affect them besides weakening their power. That's the primary reason they are required to train in fighting without their magic. They have a normal life span equivalent to that of a humans, and two forms. Their humanoid, and their true form. Their true form reflects whatever power they posses. Their weakness is "starlight" and arcane magics having to do with a concentration of light. They posses no innate healing properties, though they can be trained in the Healing arts.
The Selas, also known as the Star Elves Elf-like in appearance, these beings hold control over an energy they have called "starlight". The can manipulate it, forming both shields and weapons, though no rope like weaponry, from this "starlight". The "starlight' gives the Selas healing properties that only the strongest can master. Minor healing power only involves the body of the elf possessing the power, whereas mastery of the power can be used on others. Half-bloods don't usually have the healing factor, but if they do, they usually don't have the magic for attack. Their power is strongest beginning at dusk, when the stars first appear, and fading at dawn. Daylight is not harmful, but their magic is considerably weaker, which is the reason they are required learn other fighting styles. Their weakness is the power of the shadow and dark arcane magic. They have a normal human life-span, and two forms, like their cousins. Some of the most powerful Selas can levitate, also a power the Half-bloods do not usually inherit.
The Drievo, also known as the Woods Elves Elf-like in appearance, they tend to reflect the seasons; excited and buoyant in the spring, powerful in the summer... etc. Their power rests in the ability to speak and control the plants of the earth, and sometimes even the earth itself. Their weakness lies in both fire and ice, shadows do not affect them, but the Selas actually tend to boost them. Most Drievos have improved vision, and are unusually agile. Like their cousins, they have dual forms.
Rangers(humans) Rangers are pretty much your regular human, especially trained in bows and knives. They have a vast store of knowledge of magic relating to the earth and animals. Also know many of the natural poisons and immunities. Exceptional eyesight, along with the rest of the senses. Not inhuman, just really well trained. They are at a disadvantage with attack magic, but not much of one. They are very quick, and very agile. They have a, extended life span, though it's only due to their environment, it can be as much as twenty, to twenty-five years. Half-bloods Halfbloods are beings with parents from two separate races. In the Rokr clan, all but one of the Half-bloods have either a Ranger or Drievos as a parent. Even then, Half-bloods are rare, maybe one in twenty-five. Half-blood commen sense: The Half-blood will, of course, have traits from both parents. But the strongest "power" trait, it will inherit from its mother. So, if a Half-blood has a Skotos father, and Drievos mother, its most powerful attack will be earth based. Usually, a Half-blood will not be able to do some of the things a full-blood can. For instance, a half-shade may not be able to teleport, or it may be able to teleport, but it cannot attack with the shadows. Half-blood elven still have dual forms, and the true form would still represent their power. Bad news about Half-bloods: Selas and Skotos babes do not carry to term. Even if both parents are strong, the babe may still abort. If it doesn't, the mother won't live and the baby is always deforemed in some way. It has to do with the shade and star powers being in continual conflict. So, that particular facet has been prohibited because when there is a miscarriage, it is both emotionally and physically traumatic to the mother. This wasn't realized until a few months after Risq was born...blind. But, it turns out, that the Drievos and Rangers are much more compatible with both each other and the Selas and Skotos. One last thing, the Half-blood will also inherit all weakness traits from both parents.

~(*The Weaponry of the Clan*)~ *( Powers )* The Shade The power of the shade is the ability to control and manipulate the shadows, it is at its strongest from dusk to dawn. It is similar to the Seml'ja power in that the relationship between the Skotos and the Shade is one of an almost friendship. The Skotos will ask the Shade to perform a certain feat, and the Shade will respond. In special relationships, such as Risq's, the Shade will communicate with it's "partner". The Shade can be formed into shields and weapons alike, though the weapons are usually nothing with sharp edges. They can form pointed objects, such as a spear, but nothing like a sword. They can be formed into weapons like maces and hammers as well as ropes, but one thing to remember...the Skotos partner must be able to wield whatever weapon he asks the Shade to form Another facet of the Shade power is the ability to teleport. Whereas every Skotos has teh ability to form weapons from the Shade, the ability to teleport requires a great deal of trust on the part of the Skotos; which is why only the Masters in the Skotos clan usually posses this particular power. The power of the Shade in relation to Halfbloods. Halfbloods will inherit either the defensive or offensive power of the Shade. Offensive if their mother was the Skotos, and Defensive if the Skotos was the father. It is very rare that a Half-blood will inherit the ability to teleport because it requires such a strong link, but if one does, that Half-blood will have neither the offensive or defensive power fo the Shade. The Starlight The power of the Starlight is an energy that has been named by the Selas. It is named the Starlight because the Selas' power is at its best when the stars shine. It is nearly the opposite of the Shade power, both in the way its power is manifested, and its relationship to the Selas. Whereas the Skotos have to trust in the Shade to do their bidding, the Starlight has no partnership with the Selas. The Selas are a channel for the energy that is the Starlight. With the Starlight, the Selas can form such weapons as swords and knives, though no blunted objuects. Like the Shade, the user must be able to wield the weapon he/she creates. The advanced channeling of Starlights includes the ability to heal. Minor healing abilities mean that the user can only heal his own body. Total control of the healing power expands the range of the users healing ability, even to other bodies. The power of the Starlight in relation to Halfbloods. This particular is very similar to the Skotos in the way the power is inherited. The father will contribute defensive power whereas the mother will contribute offensive power. The healing property can be acquired by a Halfblood, but only if the Halfblood posesses the defensive power of the Starlight. The Seml'ja The power of the Seml'ja, or Earthspeak, is the Drievos' ability that allows them to speak to, and manipulate the plants. This ability is an innate part of the Drievos, so much so that the activity and emotions of the Drievos connects with the seasons. In spring they are jubilant, in summer they are strong, and etc. The Drievos actually communicate with the plants, a reason why some Halfbloods have even gone crazy. Without a love and trust for the plants of the earth, no Drievos would be able to function. While the Seml'ja is a mostly passive type pf power, it can be used against a living being quite easily. Because of the Seml'ja, the Drievos have unusually strong senses, and are very agile. The Seml'ja in relation to Halfbloods. Halfbloods usually inherit all facets of the Seml'ja. Their link with the plants may not be quite as strong however, and the voices of the plants have been known to drive a Halfblood mad. The Ranger's Arcane Magic, Mirgavarati Although the Ranger's do possess elevated senses and increased agility, this is something they have ingrained in themselves through hours of training. What magic they do possess is also learned, taught to them since they were children. And while they do have avast store of knowledge pertaining to the earth, this is one magic in particular they commonly use. This Magic that they use is called the Mirgavarati, or beast-speak. It enables them to speak with all the animals of the land and air. They can call hordes of the wildlilfe to their aide, and are never harmed by animals. The better a Ranger gets at this magic, the more he can accomplish....but this magic is also dangerous. Rangers never truly die, when they finally are one with the magic of the earth, they are taken into the earth. A Ranger is taken to the earth depending on his relationship with the magic, not depending on his age. The Rangers also know of other magics which allow them to live in the wild of the earth and to hunt through the woods without fear. While they are susceptible to magic, fire magic in particular, they are usually no more damaged by other magics than a normal human would be. Mirgavarti in relation to Halfbloods. Because Mirgavarti is an Arcane Magic and not inherent, it can be totally learned by the Haflbloods and does not depend on heritage to dictates its power. *( Arms )* The physical weaponry of the clan is unlimited. Just remember that the weapon you choose for your character matches your characters strength. For instance, a character that depends strongly on magic probably wouldn't be able to use a mace; short swords, bows, or knives would be more his speed. Rangers usually carry a bow and a small hand to hand weapon. Hand-axe, sword, knife, any of these will work. In the creation of your character, you may create your own weaponry based off a generic listing. It is, in fact, encouraged. For instance, you may chose a sword, but you can design your own sword based off that choice. Above all, be descriptive. Because the Rokr Clan is not a really technologically advanced Clan, the weapons will mostly be basic.

~(*Rules and Layout of the Rokr Clan*)~ ~(*The Rules of the Clan*)~ 1.) There will be absolutely no god-modding allowed.(Duh) 2.) Neither will there be allowed big fights on the subject. If one person god-mods, the matter will be directly brought to me. I will look over the problem, and ask the offender to correct it. 3.) Spies are not appreciated..but are not disallowed. Just know that I have my own spies, and the outsider will be found out easier than not. 4.)Fighting between clan members is not allowed. Duels, however, may be called. Sparring is allowed, but only in the Fight Ring. The Fight Ring is also where the Duels will be held.

~(*The Clan Members*)~ Name: Risq Starshade Rank: Clan Leader Age: 19 Race: Selas and Skotos Appearance: About 5'9" with a good weight and build due to 17 years of training. She keeps her hair short; it's mostly the darkest shade color with highlights of the silver-white her father had. This color is not as common as the more blond one. It's practically the same with her eyes, dark purplish blue-black that seems to shift, with sliver flecks. But because silver eyes have never been seen before, it has been decided that the flecks are due to Risq's blindness. Risq's eyes do still change to the deep red-black when she's angered, like those of the Skotos. Risk rarely enters her true form because the two powers are continually in conflict. If she does morph into her true form, she is weakened greatly, but it is the only time she can truly see. Her true form is representative of both her powers, an astounding sight never forgotten by those who have seen it. She is mostly of the shade, but tattoo-like drawings cover her body, shining like the starlight. Her hair is like the Selas true form, with streaks of shade, but her eyes remain the same as when she's in human form. So, this is her...and yes, I will be posting her in a full length(more or less) and a true form. And maybe even a color pic once I get down to it xd
Primary Weapon: The powers of both traits that she has, include the attacks, defenses, and teleportation of the shade for starters. She can use the starlight as an attack, though nothing larger than a dagger, and has minor healing power. She cannot levitate at all in her human form. In her true form, she is perfect, and has all the power of both races at her fingertips, but she cannot hold her true form for very long, at all. Secondary Weapon: She is highly trained in hand to hand combat as well as in the use of shivs, knives, and daggers. She commonly uses a mixture of her magic and weapons in a fight, and though she's bling, it doesn't mean she cannot see. She never uses poisons and considers them a cowardly form of killing, though she does not prohibit their use. Background: Risq was born blind, but she learned at an early age that she could use the shadows and starlight as her eyes. Her other senses were elevated some, but years of training has improved them to the point of rivalling that of the Rangers. Because her mother died when Risq was still a baby, she lacks some of the more "girly" traits. She does move with an odd grace, but her fighting and game playing have quite the tom-boy approach. She has never worn a dress, although that is pretty commom of her kind. It would be illogical, lkiving in the woods and mountains. You would have to stop every few minutes and untangle it. As she grew, she trained, learning all she could. It was her father's dream that she would take over the clan, he just hadn't anticipated it happening when she was sixteen. That was also when she learned that she couldn't hold her true form. The assassin had used an unusual poison, combined with his magics, and though Risq had expelled it and killed the assassin, she had nearly died. Her last name. Usually none but the Rangers have last names. Risq has taken the name Starshade to symbolize the unity of the two races.
