"The Church Fails When......"

Greetings again in the righteous name of Jesus!

What's wrong with so many churches today?
Why are once dynamic churches now failing to reach the lost?
Why don't we see more broken and contrite hearts coming to the altars for salvation?

All of these are good questions. The answers vary, but one of the most serious reasons for church failures is 'SIN IN THE SANCTUARY.' That may sound harsh, but please read on.

Moses experienced rebellious and backbiting within the fellowship.
God gave Moses words of warning to relay to Israel; In Numbers 14:27."How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which mumur against me? I have heard the mumurings of the children of Israel, which they mumur against me."
Moses heard and saw the rebellious and sinful voices clamoring for the "old ways" in Egypt.
Pastors see and hear the same resistance in the sanctuaries today.

King David, who was flawed and imperfect, saw sin inside the confines of the tabernacle in his day. He was moved to write about it in Psalm 26:5 "I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked."

Reading the Word of God, we remember the horrible defeat of Joshua's warriors experienced at Al. That defeat came because of sin in the camp and Joshua had to remove the sin from amoung the children of Israel.
Sadly, there is sin within the camps of church families throughout the world and here in our country.

The apostle Paul encountered sin and false teachings within the church he had established in Galatia.
Galatians 1:6-7 records the terse words of Paul: "I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ."

Repentance, rededication, and surrendering fully to the power of God's Holy Spirit are needed within nearly every congregation today.
Our adversary walks within the sanctuary and stirs up trouble and gossip.
The enemy works hard to dilute and pervert the work of the body of believers.

"A RELATIONSHIP WITH
GOD
IS THE MOST IMPORTANT
RELATIOSHIP YOU CAN HAVE."

'EMBRACE IT EVERY DAY!'

*Lord lead us away from the lies of the devil and open our spiritual eyes, ears and hearts. Make us faithful warriors of the cross. Help us to grow your kingdom with unshakable courage and fervor.
Lord get sin out of our camp. In Christ Jesus name I do pray, Amen!

Many people go to church, calling themselves Christians, praising the Lord in worship, and preaching the bible. And yet the same ones that do all of these point fingers at other Christian flaws and the flaws of the people The Lord wants us to save. Them Christians live a two faced life style always wearing a mask. They do not know that us Christians are supposed to show the light not be a siren chasing people away. We ar to show them that we love and do not judge because we are not the judge we are His candles that burn brigtly in the darkness for people who have lost their ways. The Lord Jesus is the Only Judge.
So the best way to live a wholesome Christian life is to show kindness to those who have a hard life. Some Christians do not know what it is like to walk in the shoes of those who are sinners. Prostitutes live a life where they grew up without a father, and yet they have children they need to feed. The same goes with strippers because no one wants to hire them. These people who are sinners had bigger dreams of what they wanted to be before temptation got in the way. Showing sinners that you care for them allows them to see God working throug us and creates a huge impact on their souls.

I like what you said and how you said it. Not too many people share the same reality of the shape that this world is in.
I do applaud you for your thoughts on this subject.
You have moxy, and I like that.

^_^ Thank you. When I was in High School there was a kid by the name of Jason. All Christians called him Weird, a creep, they called him all sorts of horrible names. They all told me not to sit with him. But I quietly got up took my lunch and walked over to the boy. I asked him "Is this seat taken?" He looked up and said "No" He thought I was going to take the seat and go sit with my friends but instead I sat down with this boy, he was full time Gothic, black lipstick, black spiky hair, black leather jacket everything on him was black except for his skin which was painted pure white. He was shocked when I did that he asked. "Why are you sitting here? Are you not afraid of me?" I answered with. "No, I am not afraid of you, what? Are you going to bite me? Because if you do I will just bite you back" He laughed when I gave him that answer. And soon he became my friend. But years after my Graduation I found out that he was a Born again Christian.

There are many of us that you wouldn't think followed the Father. But, we ARE a peculiar people... being 'set-apart' or 'holy' can come in many forms. As we grow in His Light, we tend to transform into something... other... O.o But, many of us, you wouldn't know us on the street. Still real people, but mayhaps more 'real' in the spiritual sense...

I like the sound of this, and what you mention about that boy... I was in that position myself. I myself was ridiculed quite often in high school, yet in the past two and a half years now, I have been reborn through Christ's grace. One of my friends refers to the word 'grace' as an acronym. God's Redemption At Christ's Expense.
