So I finally saw The Fault in our Stars movie yesterday. I had been looking forward to the movie ever since I read the book last summer. I think it was last September when I finished the book and all I could do after that was wait for the movie. Now I've finally seen it.
The movie was very good. Like all movies it did cut out a few parts of the book but not too many. It stayed pretty true to the book and I was very pleased with the movie. I bawled my eyes out for probably the last fifteen to twenty minutes of the movie though. Having read the book, I knew what was coming but that didn't stop me from crying at all. I knew that I was going to cry but sometimes it's good to have a good cry. I just wish that I remembered to bring tissues. My shirt was a little wet from my tears.
Have any of you read the book or seen the movie? If not then I would really recommend both. I will not give away any spoilers in case you haven't read the book or seen the movie. If you have though, what did you think of them? I'd have to say that it's one of the best movies I've seen in awhile and I think you should definitely check it out if you're interested. DFTBA!
