So today we were doing laundry. We got bored and wandered around outside. We noticed a sale behind the laundry mat. Apparently they've been doing it for the last three weeks. There was a man and woman selling food. The woman had jelly and poppy cake she made. She had the ingredients on them, and they were all things I've heard of. Haha. Eggs, Poppy seed, Flour, ect. It was great. The man had jelly too, other canned stuff, and vegetables. They looked beautiful. The pepper I bought was the shiniest pepper I've ever seen. The squash is huge. 3 veggies for $2. At the store where I work one pepper is 95 cents. And it isn't shiny.. or grown organically. I told my mom about the sale.. and how they come every Wednesday. She tells me they do this in other towns close by, Farmers' Markets. Kinda mad she didn't tell me about it. But oh well. I know now! You guys should look around on the net or local papers and find something like this if you haven't.. better quality, better price. It's so awesome. biggrin

Dang that is scary as heck. Scary and gross. How terrible that happened. I would have nightmares about it later if it happened to me.

Have you ever had homemade jelly? It is sooo much better than store bought. sometimes I just eat a spoonful of it when I go in the kitchen. My boyfriend walked in on me doing it and I was embarrassed. xD But it tastes so good I don't want to dull the taste with bread, haha. I always liked putting jelly on my ice cream.

Yay, I'm not alone in my jelly loving! xD I love fruits too. I'll have to try this strawberry jelly on some plain cheesecake. Mmm. I never thought of that.
