nope it seems standard for everyone *rolls eyes* honestly it's a joke though cause they are all asking for actual cash, i don't have the cash to waste on virtual items, i just wish there was a way to block them all, it's getting sickening >.<

exactly >.< too bad we couldn't make a petition or a forum that is against all these money grubbing announcements >.< i shouldnt be so angry about it, but it's just sad to know that this used to be a nice place to talk with friends and now its just annoying with the bombardment of buy buy buy!

I just ignore them. Only a Max of 10 are ever present at one time.
I think Lanzer doesn't own Gaia anymore. Probably owned by Nick. Just like Neopets!

Well, I'm not a full-blown lurker, I just don't log on as much anymore. I wish I could still get text alerts of new comments/inbox messages.
The greed of the website is a deterrent though.
