Ukame was growing at a nice pace and was finally able to walk on her own. One clumsy foot in from of the other but still, finally she would be able to go and look outside! The sun was bright in the morning and the little cub stepped blinking out into it. Her eyes focused, the sun dimming as she squinted.
"Wooow.." Her mouth fell open with amazement and quickly curved upward into a large grin. The Pridelands was huge! In the distance she could see herds moving quickly; something she wanted to check out later. There were birds flying overhead, the sound of lions chattering everywhere and it was all really exciting to see for the first time.
"Mom, mom! Can we go play?" She called back into the den as she stood out on the ledge that overlooked the Pridelands. What she got in response was a gargled 'yes but...' and whatever Otrera had said afterwards was lost by the time it hit Ukame's ears. Waddling back around, the young cub nipped at her sister's ear, pulling at it as she placed one paw on her lighter sister's side. "Com'mon! Luts goo plah!"
