After a meal Claudius had left his quarters to arrive at the front doors into his daughter's office. When he open the grand wooden doors the interior on the inside was beautifully designed. It was very much to his daughter's tastes. There were books neatly sitting on selves that were filled with spells, poems, legends and myths, novels, and whatever subjects that filled his daughter's mind. On her grand and lovely desk sat glass vases filled with flowers, feather quilts, an ink jar, and candle stick. Claudius didn't even dare to knock before entering because he knew that she wouldn't be here. He softly walked to her book shelves in search of something... something...

Alec was making his way to Jessiery's office to drop off a report he had written about the lands he had invaded with his warriors and hunters. He was curious as to where Baron Damien could be? His whereabouts was always a mystery. He had wonder why the Baron wasn't present at the throne room earlier. As Alec got closer to Jessiery's office he caught a whiff of Claudius's sent and lifted a brow of curiosity. The doors leading into the office were slightly open and out of curiosity Alec peaked in to see that the Kiran was rummaging through the Lady's book shelf. Why? Claudius hardly ever came into Jessiery's office unless summoned despite him being the Lady's father.
Alec then reposition himself to stand tall and act as if he hadn't know he was in the room yet. So with a knock, Alec entered the room and said, "Oh, Kiran Claudius. I didn't know you'd be in here."
