It was the first food that Peter Pan had discovered that he could gather himself. After-all, it was difficult work caring for yourself when you were only a toddler. Nanners. Though in reality they were plantains since those grew close enough to the ground that Peter Pan was able to pick them himself. Nanners were good for two reasons: One, they were fun to mash, two, they were good to eat. Fun and food all in one? It was a beautiful thing.
Peter Pan sat on the floor of the forest, which one it was made no difference to him, with a plantain in hand. He peeled back the peel with the dexterity of a three year old: clumsy. The boy managed to get into the fruit eventually and then the fun began. Peter began beating the nanner into a pulp, occasionally bringing his fist to his face to lick off the product of his play.

Nahusha was only a short distance away from the temple, he never went too far because he still needed help with the whole eating thing and he couldn't really survive without it. If the young naga was going away only for a short while, it wasn't as if anyone would notice. He was one-in-what might as well be a thousand. He was a boy grown now, and it was time he did some exploring. Nahusha moved cautiously, as he explored the forest near his home. The world was dangerous... but he was strong! He didn't need to be afraid, he had claws and teeth! As the boy slithered along a strong odor hit his sensitive nose. The smell was sweet... in a way that disgusted him.
All the same, Nahusha was curious what caused the smell and he was on his first little adventure. So the child followed the smell, unknowing of what it might lead too. "What are you doing?" Nahusha asked with a clear enunciation as he came upon the little boy smashing the fruit, the obvious source of the scent, this area reeked.
A glob of goo came hurling through the air towards Nahusha, splat! The smell flooded his nose. "Hey!" Nahusha called out as he pulled back and hissed at the boy, baring his tiny fangs.
