Death Note
Meet Light (Kira), who is your average genius, living your average life with your normal parents and a loving younger sister. Light's dad, happens to be a high ranking police officer. So when Light gets a hold of a book that can kill anyone he chooses with just writing their name in it, he doesn't believe it at first. In fact, our main character doesn't write anyone's name in the book until forced too after running into a few criminals walking late at night. They die and Light begins using the power of the Death Note, to kill criminals. However, the Police force do not accept these killings as a way of protecting the citizens. They hire a man that goes by the name L to look into the killings and solve the crime. Light and L test each others genius abilities in this epic game of wits!
