x Introduction xxx Well, you know the story. Black cats are considered bad luck, and these ex-kittypets were abandoned due to that superstition. Now homeless and considering their options, it's time they find a home. Will they join a clan? Will they find a new two-leg owner? What do you think will happen?
x How this Works • This contest will run from now until June 4th, 11:59 pm EST. I may or may not announce the winners until a few days later, however, due to the fact my 2nd year anniversary with my bf is on June 5th and I'll be gone for two days.
• This is a partner contest. You will enter with another person and post one for that accounts for both of you.
• They are siblings. You can decide their gender and such, but they are related.
• If I here any whining or you're a bad sport, you'll either be disqualified from the game or banned from the next game I hold. Please be friendly and just have a fun time!

I Have Some Luck for You! Usernames: Fea Line & Revel1984
Genders: Male (Bulky Fluffy) & Female (Lean Fluffy)
Names: Shadow (Shadowstorm if Skyclan accepts) & Angel (Darkfang if Skyclan accepts)
Why were they abandoned?: Angel and Shadow belonged to an elderly woman who desired the companionship of a pet. Her family thought cats would be perfect, they had heard cats were more independent, assumed they would put less stress on the elderly, and went to the pound to adopt a cat, only to end up with two black twins instead. However, as Angel and Shadow grew, their attempts to show affection or playfulness was ultimately too much for the elder. What was meant to be a casual loving head bump caused the twoleg to stumble and break a hip. A leap up onto a shelf resulted in vases and various knick knacks to come tumbling down, once onto the elder's head. In the end, the family members decided these cats would be the death of their beloved elder, no doubt due to the rumors of black cats being bad luck and tossed them out into the streets, replacing them with a dog - "Man's best friend".
Where will the cat go?: Angel and Shadow will stick together as loners at first. Angel being more on the skittish side and still yearning for human companionship, will insist they stay near the large twoleg place, trying to find a new owner. In the end, Shadow will insist that its useless, no one wants a cat, let alone two, and decide that they move into the forest to try to fend for themselves. It's then that they would stumble upon Skyclan and try to see if the cats would accept them or if they could learn to become a clan cat. If they get accepted, Angel would slowly learn she couldn't rely on her brother for protection forever and would need to form bonds with other cats and ultimately find her bravery to prove she can be a useful loyal warrior. Shadow would have to learn that he can't always put his sister first, but instead must learn to put he clan before all else, and earn the trust of the other warriors.

Names: Pest, Menace (kittypet names)
Why were they abandoned?: Pest and Menace are exactly that and more; a mess, more trouble than they are worth, a pain in the a**. They weren't always called so, but their owner had addressed them often enough by those names that it become the only thing they would answering to. They've heard it all before, and honestly, they deserve every name given to them. They get in the trash, knock over their food bowls, push things off shelves. They take turns hiding on top of the refrigerator and under the cabinet to trip you and pounce on top of your head. But why do they do all of this? Because it's hilarious, of course! Their owner had enough of it, the last straw being when Pest and Menace began marking in places they shouldn't be urinating.
Where will the cat go?:Pest and Menace took well to life on the outside, but never bothered trying to fit in with the clan cats. They have each other and that's always been enough for them. They are quite content with the loner life style and have no problem causing trouble and playing tricks on unsuspecting victims on clan borders! One of their favorite tricks is attempting to make the cats on patrol believe that they are in two places at one time.

I Have Some Luck for You! Usernames: Spunk Skunk & Strawberri Stardust
Genders: Male (Bulky), Female (Sleek)
Names: Black Jack (AshFall) & Roulette (CinderStorm)
Why were they abandoned?: Life was good, or at least for a little while for these siblings. Owned by a high roller with an affinity to black cats, he named them after his favorite games at the casino. He was never a superstitious man. Only after did he hear the rumors of the black cat's curse did he become paranoid. Soon he started to believe every loss he took from gambling was from the cats. The more paranoid the man become, the bigger risks he took. Finally one day, the man came home bankrupt. His family shamed him, leaving him to himself...and the cats. Blaming them for everything that had happened, the man threw them out onto the streets.
Where will the cat go?: At first, both Black Jack and Roulette will travel around together. They are very close so they wouldn't ever separate. They do however believe that they are cursed after what happened with their former master. When word spreads around the clans, they too would fear the strange curse. However after proving loyalty they will eventually join. For now they will remain as loners though. Their clan will be chosen via roleplay interaction with clan members. Leaves it open for character development.

Genders: Males both.
Names: Hex (HexThroat) and Curse (CursedTomb)
Why were they abandoned?: Their owner died... and so the relatives are the ones that dumped them. Their owner was a witch who was practicing with her coven. She did everything from the basics to really dark magic such as voodoo. The cats were cherished and well loved by the coven. But because when the family came over they were introduced as these highly regarded beings, the family took them as weird. So much so that when the woman died of a 'heart attack', at least that's what the people put on her death certificate. However, by the time the family found her Curse and Hex had retrieved the doll as evidence. They had brought the doll and the family found the doll and disposed of it. They left the door open to let the cats out... and when that didn't work they scooped the cats up and drove them across town. They kept finding their way back, no matter how far out they were taken. And so while the family worked to sell the house, the people interested would see the black cats, they assumed just one cat, would pop up where ever they looked. It lead to the family giving up on the house because no one would buy it. They started to resent the cats and consider them bad luck so often they would attempt to rid the cats in different ways, but Hex and Curse are stubborn.
Where will the cat go?: So what happens is these two brothers are going to be rogues moving until they stumble into Shadowclan. Attacked on site they offered the cat something he couldn't refuse. The irresistible herb, catnip. If shadowclan lets them in and starclan allows them names then that is what they will do, if not they will become rogues still plaguing their owners old home. Their owner had a greenhouse full of catnip, just a little out of shadowclan land. Cursedtomb and Hexthroat will become the local drug dealers. They will trade their herbs to those addicted, once they hook the clan cats, for prey and the ability not to have to hunt or patrol. Manipulation is their game. Also as cats of a witch they picked up a few of the beliefs that she had... such as the voodoo. Curse can be seen clawing up sticks into shapes that look like the cats he dislikes. While Hex can be seen attempting to preform anything from hexes to cleansing though he is still trying to figure out how to light the sage.
