Lilitu Clan.

The oldest records of vampires start with this clan. The original vampire, Lilitu was a serpent that wrapped around a tree made by Enlil and began to drain the tree's lifeforce. Lilitu was slain but her blood fell into the mouth of mortals and they became like demon gods. They raged with their new powers and were like a plague upon the people of the land. As a result of this story, the Lilitu's clan symbol is a tree.

Legend tells that Lilitu's body still lays among the roots of a great tree, and that sipping of her blood will transform an Aristocrat into a clan elder. The last clan elder to do this was Anrise, who does not remember where she found the body of the first vampire.

Nevertheless, this clan is well known for being the strongest and oldest and the Lord who rules the vampires has always come from their Aristocrats.

Members of this clan tend toward mystical powers over the other two.

Kyuuketsuki clan

This clan is represented by a sword and Daisho. They keep laws and are steepled in traditions from Japan and the other countries that the clan has slowly expanded into. The oldest histories of the Kyuuketsuki follow before the spread of Bhuddism, but the spread of the written texts from India; many trace their lineage through to long dead grandfather's into the Rakashaa clan. They are the most stridently against mortal involvement and have little desire to become part of the human world again. For a very long time they were Emperors both in Japan and in other lands; the Mobieus bloodline had spread not just into Europe, but extended alliances into China, Korea and even the New World. The Mobieus are far more the diplomatic family than the Izanami, but still very rigid in their fear of another uprising. During the fall of the Shogunate, many of the Izanami were the first for the chopping blocks and a great deal of their history was lost. They blame Hunhua agents for most of the Oubliette's deaths that day, although the Hunhua had little to do with it in truth.

Some of the strongest and most feared warriors come from this clan, but very few vassals as the clan doesn't like these 'lesser beings'

Their primary powers are physical, although some have mystical powers that enhance physical abilities.

Hunhua clan

The lords of death, this clan is the most feared and has the most bloody of histories. They are responsible for most of the monster stories behind vampires as well as a lot of monster stories in general. During their reign on the Mayan's and Aztec's they committed mass genocide and would build cults and armies to clash between like giant chess pieces. It was only when the last Lord had enough of their madness that he crushed most of their forces in his youth. The Hunhua suffer from a great deal of internal power-struggle as a result of their losses from more than 500 years ago when the Xolotl joined forces with Nergal's Spainish invasion to crush their clansmen.

This clan's symbol is a skull. They specialize in physical powers over mental.Mystical powers are typically the ability to transform into great cats, or blood magics (which they have been forbidden from practising)
