Izkierka flew strongly, off to greener pastures and more cows, deer were too stringy, she coasted on thermals then flapped strongly to get to new ones. It was cost effective and faster then those lazy bum birds that never got off the first one they came to. She had places to go, stuff to munch on, speaking of which she would love some steak right now. Midthought she caught a whiff of meat. Fresh. Intrigued, she started to circle down to a copse of trees. Surely whoever it was would share, I mean how much can a female eat? Even a draconic one, she thought.

Zedkiel had not been the same since that day with Onyxa. The very thing he lost her for even asked him to step away for awhile. He wasn't banned by any means he was just a little to unpredictable to be around and he had left willingly when told that because he knew it was true. Which made him a danger not a help to the herd. But out here on his own wasn't helping him any either he was actually becoming rather feral in a lot of ways. And his mind pondered the future and wondered if he was fine being prince to a herd for the rest of his life of did he want more power. He felt his father was becoming lax in the life of the herd no longer even looking to the six for their guidance in the war against the human king and his dreadful followers. When he wasn't left to his thoughts or memories he was hunting and he was no longer satisfied with small prey he wanted the blood of bigger creatures. And no not a little of it all of it he wanted them dead. And he seemed not to care he was even considering azrein tonight was the closest he had come to that. A feral horse lay dead on the ground. Spatters of blood here and there from the fight. Zed covered in a bit of blood himself stood there drinking his fill. His ears perked to the sound of large wings. He lifted his head his eyes glowing in the night. He gave off a roar flashing his fangs at the dragon female above him. He truly looked and sounded like a fearsome creature of the night versus the kind soul he had been to Onyxa.

Izkierka roared right back at him. "I hope that was a greeting you great lug."
"Hmmm," she said as she examined his fangs. "Not a dragon, but a vampire. Your not opposed to sharing your meat with a hungry dragoness are you? Ahh, horse...cannibal." She said in a friendly way. She was not one to take anyones crap and this glowy eyed bread winner looked like he had a lot of crap to give. "I'm more fond of cow, but presented with an opportunity, I will try horse. Where did you get this one, the farm down the road?"
She walked closer, unafraid. She could fly, and if he did bite her and she got away.. the longer fangs might be an improvement on the ones she had. Izkierka stifled a giggle.

Zed roared back again stamping a hoof it was no greeting it was a warning. He didnt answer her in words not yet he wanted nothing to do with others at the moment.
He growled stepping over his kill and staring the mare down. His ears pinned back and blood running down his lips to anyone else he was be a terror come true he recognized that she didn't seem to be afraid of him though.
"Share with you.....you are not of my kind I do not trust others!" He hissed before making a charge at her and snapping a warning bite. It took more then just a bite to turn there was more to it then that.

"If you are so in love with your own kind why arn't you with them handsome?" She fluttered up above him, he was fast, this was going to be fun. She landed on the other side of his kill. "Who has done something to make you so...ravenous, murderous? Oh what is the word? Vengeful perhaps that you would completely destroy another horse for a simple feeding. You sound more like a dragon then a vampire at the moment Blood One."
He was rather handsome when he was so mad like that. Her mother had always told her she lacked a certain thing called common sense. But that was neither here nor there, she liked to dance on the razor's edge as it were. And this male was so intriguiing...was that a complete sentence he had just uttered. Perhaps. Perchance there may or may not be a male under that cloud of rage and coating of blood. Hah and others said she was a messy eater.

Zed snorted and roared at that question obviously a sore subject but it wasn't to sore it was his own fault at the moment. He whirled around on her and charged again. "Shut it and leave me mare! This is my kill and I will feed on it in peace!!!"
After that charge he seemed to move to stand protectively over his kill. His ears back and his teeth bared. He roared at her again almost challenging her. "Do not think its beyond me to kill one such as yourself mare!"

"Aww come on you greedy thing! You don't even eat the meat! And no doubt because you have spent so much time talking to me about your meal, it has probably coagulated. Poor thing." she giggled and hovered above. "Oh I have no doubt you would be a match for me, but would I be a match for you, is the question you should be pondering Land Walker."

Zed growled again but she was right if he didnt keep eating now he wouldnt be able to finish. "I have my doubts you would be seeing as you rather eat someone else's left overs then hunt for yourself...but fine only because I concede to you being right about the blood.." Zed hissed at her one more time before stepping to one side of the kill so he may feed from the kill and she could come forwards he didn't look happy about sharing but he didn't really need the meat after all. He kept his eyes on her and his ears pinned ready for any false move from her.

"I am nothing if not an opportunist Lord Vamp." She kept an eye on him as she started to eat. Grouchy, grouchy, but cute in a fangy sort of way..and lets be honest is there any other kind of cute? She smiled around her meal. She had a sense she had just found some exciting adventure, she would observe and be around him until she grew bored, which may be in a few days, a few months and if he was a really lucky stallion a few years. She shivered happily in anticipation, he was so lucky, she was going to keep him company!
