Aristocrats
Aristocrats are born vampires. They grow up with their powers. They have never known a life not as a vampire. They've never tasted food or walked in sunlight. The birthrates for Aristocrats is actually particularly low and as a result, they have become very concerned about breeding. It is common for a couple to divorce if they are unable to bear children, and the prospect of offspring is one of the main driving factors for diversity in their lineage and political marriages.
Children are precious to the Aristocrats; and very few would consider harming another's child as a result. They try to raise them in a calm and nurturing environment, but this is usually the best way to smoother kids and its common for youngsters to get fed up with every adult around them being too intrusive.
There is a great deal of 'respect for your elders' drilled into vampire society; perhaps because their elders are so much more powerful and dangerous, knowledgeable and capable, but also because they are a traditional lot.
