No more Ms. Nice Sym.
The 12th AURB takes place in exactly THIRTY-FOUR DAYS as I write this.
And we have NOTHING.

I would appreciate an extra channel to contact you guys if possible. I offer my skype username (CirqueDuSymbolon) but do not require it to be skype that you contact me on, or that you give me any personal information at all. It would simply be helpful in the process of brainstorming and getting things done.

We do NOT have time to raise funds for contests, so I'm doing the art as well as the graphics so as to redirect the funds as contest winnings. I am SLOW and NEED YOUR TEKTEKS. Tektek is now up and running if I don't have them within two days prepare to get stalked & PMed. I have deleted the fundraising thread.

The room mule is currently named cdsmule1 and you may send donations if you wish; if they are not used we will return them to you. Please suggest usernames for the mule as Epcot's suggestion was taken and my brain power is currently focused elsewhere.

I need one person to head plot planning, one person to head contest planning, and one person to work with plot planning and contest planning to design individual events/contests for each day. We will ALL be contributing to each of these, but giving each person a project to look after and bother everyone else about might help our ball rolling.

I will be focusing on art, graphics, and writing up the text of our front page.

If you guys have not decided who is heading what in two days I'm assigning it.

Let's get moving. I'll be posting a couple more posts tonight (well this morning now) with suggestions on plot, contests, etc.

Alright, do you know what your plot is for the room is?

Alright, do you know what your plot is for the room is?
If not I can come up with some suggestions or help expand it. You can run it by Epcot if you like them of not. I can pm you if you want.

What little plot we have is here, feel free to post there so we can all see and consider any ideas you may have.

I said I'd assign positions if nobody called them (and Wintry said she's fine with whatever) so here I am assigning positions.

Epcot will be heading plot planning
iNk_mAy will be heading contest planning
Wintry Tea will be heading individual events/contests for each day
And I'm currently focused on getting graphics & art done for the room

What does heading a section mean? It means that that section is your baby. Put a majority of your time into working on your section, but still pop into the other sections and try to contribute there as well. Be the person that quotes everyone over with a question or decision or something. Make your section happen.

If you get your section all done with the content written out and everything, go help another section.

In other news, I think you guys should know that I chose you guys for these positions for a reason.

Epcot, I put you on plot because it was you that came up with the space station setting in the first place and I think you have a lot of ideas to put up for consideration.
iNk, I put you on contests because of the ideas you already put up and because I think you will work well as the budgeting person.
Wintry, I put you on individual events/contests because you seem to be online the most and I think your section is going to require a lot of communication with iNk and Epcot who aren't necessarily on at the same time but whom you are more likely to interact with when they ARE on. Additionally, I like that you attempt to answer questions even when you don't understand them AND mention that you're still confused; it means there aren't any holes in communication that we assume the other person understands. This also helps because I expect your section to be the hardest to understand as far as what needs to be done and I know that you will continue communicating until you understand what needs to be done.

I will be posting in each of your areas about what constitutes your section being 'complete'.
