An inaudible purring sound emitted forth from a shadowy figure that had been watching a particularly new face in town. "Rrrrr." Sitting perched high above the city skyline, the slender figure's attire blended in perfectly along the shadows that were being cast along the stonework ledge the individual sat upon. One of the many of architectural structures that stood tall and defiant in this once glorious city. The night had been overcast, due to some passing storm. As the clouds began to part ways, moonlight that had been hidden cast its eerie light down upon the city of Gotham. Casting out any and all shadows, out into the open. The shadows took on all types of shapes and forms, stamping its creation along the broken roads and sidewalks of the city. The shadows even found the remnants of a man who was once whole and pure, now corrupted and tainted. Just like the city itself.
